I like the location and the cleanliness. It was a little fancier than I am accustomed. I am from America so getting used to how the French operate was odd. (toilet in a separate room from the shower).

The room was pretty dim for putting on make-up. No outlet in the bathroom for converter /american curling iron. I was charged for 3 people ($214 and we had 1 queen bed and 1 twin bed in the room) however my parents got a similar room but they were charged for 2 people (even though they also had a queen bed and 1 twin bed). The worst part was that I paid for 3 people but there was only 2 bath towels provided and only 1 key . We were placed in room 716 so we had to go through an entry door and then into the room so if one person had to go to the room first and the other 2 came later, they had to call from their phone to get the person to come out and open the entry door, they could not just knock on room 716 door.

The location next to the train station and the proximity to Les Halles. Rooms are comfortable.

The checking in process and credit card use. Typically when your credit card is given it covers additional charges. For example, I couldn’t charge cocktails to my room a payment was required each time.

The room was quiet, spacious and comfortable - good to have a lounge suite. All the things you expect of a Mercure. Staff very friendly and helpful, especially the housekeeping staff who did a great job

The hotel is located on the east side of the Gare Part-Dieu. So great for access to trains/buses/trams but it's in the commercial business area. If you are a tourist staying for a few days you might prefer to be closer to the areas of the city nearer the two rivers.

Since we were departing from Gare Lyon Part-Dieu, we wanted a hotel that was close to the station. This Mercure hotel is literally adjacent to Gare Part-Dieu. The station is directly behind the Mercure. The price was reasonable for the location in Lyon. There is a nearby Tram and bus stop which provides easy public transportation into central Lyon or Vieux Lyon. The staff was friendly and helpful.

All in all, there is little to dislike about this Mercure.

This hotel is merely 2-3 minutes walk from train station as it is attached to it. I was surprised with such spacious room. It is good for 4 person in fact. I loved the fact that there they separated the toilet bowl from shower area. Bed is comfortable with charging pots on both sides of the bed. Despite facing train tracks, it wasnt noisy at all. Had good sleep on both nights. Around 8-10 minutes walk to shopping mall filled with shops and restaurants.

Everything was amazing. The room was huge and had everything we needed: comfy beds, a TV and a fridge with some snacks, a shower cabin and a bathtub. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of selections. Despite being located next to a tram road and a railway behind, the insulation is great and no noise is detectable. In the lobby of the hotel there is a free water tap so you can refill before going out

Bed was comfortable, room was clean and the breakfast was very nice. Staff were helpful and friendly. Price for the bar drinks was reasonable. Even though we were beside the train station and a busy Main Street, we heard nothing.

More water available in the rooms. The mini bar fridge didn’t get too cold. We couldn’t get subtitles on it the TV. I had to ask reception for a better hairdryer.

This was a great choice near the main train station and a very easy connection from the airport. This area has good easy metro connections with the rest of Lyon. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast was tasty with a good variety of foods. The staff were friendly, helpful, and fluent in English.

The drains were slow, and the shower flooded the bathroom floor. Breakfast area was crowded.

Very nice attentive staff mainly at the reception, big nicely furnished room, really spacious, and breakfast was very tasty with a wide selection. Great location on the Rhona Express (airport train) stop, right on the train station with lots of tram connections... and close to Westfield shopping center

I missed the vegetables in the breakfast buffet, the pillow was too big for me

Hotel is very nice and luxurious, even better than most Mercures I've stayed, food is really good (breakfast and dinner), there is underground parking (paid) and good access to public transportation.

Staff was not always very friendly but nonetheless efficient. Despite good and easy access to public transportation, hotel is 25 - 30 minutes away from Vieux Lyon.
