Staff is amazing! Everyone is smiling and they are VERY happy to help. Very clean room and every little corner of the hotel was very well thought. Hotel is next to the big train station, very easy access. Also there are 3 big parking areas around the hotel. VERY well sound insulation, you hear NOTHING when you're inside the room. Machine for free cold/warm/sparkling water on each floor.

The area around the hotel has a lot of road works etc and even before the sun goes down, big rats are running around you. Not just one or two. A LOT! Even groups of 4-5 rats at a time. It's not the hotel's fault of course, but during the weekend we stayed, we had to be careful when we were leaving/coming back to the hotel.

Restaurant was a bit expensive, but tasty :)

No blind or curtain in the window of the bathroom, which people from outside could see inside there :-( No hot water at the washbasin.

Love everything about this hotel. Design, location next to big shopping mall and main train station. Bed is very comfy. Staff is also super helpful. I asked to leave my luggage days before check in and they have no problem with that (I travelled to Geneva and come back to Lyon).

They are renovating the road in front of hotel which taxi need to drop us a block away. We also need to walk one block further to access the train station. It's not hotel fault, but this should be informed when booking.

The mattress, pillows, complete bedding set were all very comfortable. I slept really well during my entire stay and even allowed myself a few mornings to sleep-in because the bed was just too comfortable to leave. Having Clarins hair and body products, plush towels and bathrobes in the bathroom also felt luxurious. The bedroom was good-sized and had plenty of space for storage and seating. The kettle and mini-fridge (where I stored yogurt) also allowed me to have a light breakfast in my bedroom instead of spending money on the full breakfast buffet available downstairs. The biggest bonus was the water refill station available in the hallway next to the elevators so I always had fresh drinking water and could choose the temperature and whether or not I wanted bubbles. I did also appreciate the friendliness and kindness of all the staff I encountered during my stay including the reception team and restaurant manager and staff.

I chose this hotel because of its closeness to the train station so I won’t complain about it. But for travelers wanting to be more central, close to sights, shops and restaurants, then stay here if you don’t mind walking 30+ minutes and/or riding the bus or metro for 20+ minutes to get to those places.

The breakfast was nice, but a little limited on the hot options. The bed was very comfy and the shower was excellent. The hotel was clean, modern and very well kept.

The location was ok, i couldn't get an uber to pick me up or drop me off at the hotel due to road restrictions ( ubers not permitted ) and when i ordered a taxi via the hotel they charged me 18 euros to go 2 mins down the road. It was difficult to locate the hotel as the signage was on the side of the building rather than road facing and the construction works also restricted view/access.

Needed a place just for one night near the train station. Picked this place for that reason. Staff was very responsive and helpful. Great attitudes!

Lots of construction going on at the train station and in the front area near the hotel. A very circuitous route to walk with large suitcase. Uneven surfaces, often walking in traffic lanes, not particularly safe for pedestrians. But the hotel had good maps and information about it, so it was expected. Just not very easy to do the short walk to the hotel.

The room was chic, very comfortable, immaculate, the bathroom modern, and perfect for what we needed as we arrived in late and left early! Breakfast was great and family friendly (if you have kids).

The location! It took us 45 minutes to figure out how to get to the hotel and then we realized we had to drag our luggage through a mall to get to a carpark... difficult when you have several suitcases, baby bags, etc. and two babies in toe. Unfortunately it was raining/hailing the day we went there so it just added to the stress.

Its beautiful from every angle! The rooms are gorgeous. The shower was fabulous. The bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get up. Right at gare Part Dieu and great transport links outside the door. Top class toiletries, a kettle with tea bags (no coffee!) with real cups and glasses of a proper size.

The doors are very heavy. If you were weak or disabled you would not be able to open the door to the room easily. There is a strange charge of e100, supposedly a deposit. It's not mentioned in the reservation stage. But I am not sure what is for, no staff member I spoke to could give an adequate explanation, as there is no mini bar or anything. It's supposedly refunded at checkout. Of course it didn't get refunded and I am still waiting. The hotel tried to tell me its my bank but that's unlikely as I was refunded e1200 on that day from a car hire company which took all of 10 seconds as I would expect. I am not sure what to make of that, I was very uncomfortable as I was unsure if I could lose the e100 for any reason, of which I might be unaware.

The temperature of the room was a bit cold (21.5C) and we could not find a way to turn it up. The next day they send someone to adjust it and the highest it got to was 22.5C. Low water pressure of shower

I’ve stayed here several times since it’s opening. It’s really a magnificent hotel and it’s our goto spot in Lyon. The rooms are super modern, stylish, and big. The breakfast is probably the most amazing part of the Pullman: probably the best hotel breakfast I’ve had in France (as an American living in France, I’ve come to accept that breakfast in a French hotel is usually very basic, but not the case here). The bar is also super hip with lots of couches that just beg you stay for a drink. I’ve never tried the restaurant.

The construction work surrounding the hotel is a bit of a shame because Uber drivers can’t technically reach the hotel. They explained to me that official taxis are allowed, but not Ubers. So it’s complicated to get back to the hotel if it’s raining out, just be prepared to walk the last few minutes. It’s not the hotel’s fault though, so it’s not fair to count that against them. The parking at the part dieu shopping center is spendy, even with the reduction from the hotel (30€), but it’s just a 5 minute walk to the hotel, so still worth it.
