The location is easy to access, about 4 stops of Metro to Vieux port and 6 stops from Marseille main train station St-Charles. There are two supermarkets nearby where you can buy food / water. Supermarche Casino closes very late. I once bought food there at 8pm on Sunday night. The other Lido supermarket closes early though. It's also close to tram line 2. The staff at front desk is friendly. I once had no cold water issue in the room and I went to see him. They called someone to fix in 10 mins. Super quick! The cleaning lady was friendly too. Breakfast is worth the money. I didn't buy the breakfast when I reserve the hotel room at first. After trying the first day, I decided to have breakfast in the hotel for the rest three days. They have many options to choose even though I am strictly gluten-free.

There are mosquitoes in my room on a few nights - I stayed four nights in total. It's best to take mosquito repelleant with you.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Its location is excellent, being just 6 metro stops from Marseille Saint-Charles Station and within easy reach of public transport. La Timone metro station is a mere 5-minute walk away, and the tram stop is only 7 minutes on foot. Conveniently, grocery stores are also within walking distance. It takes approximately 35-40 minutes to walk to the port on foot. The hotel itself is spacious, with 5 or 6 floors. The staff were incredibly friendly and always available at reception. I was pleasantly surprised that my room was ready before the official check-in time - thanks for that. The room itself was generously sized (especially by French standards compared to other places I've stayed) and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. A significant advantage during the winter was the presence of a warm clothes dryer in the bathroom, which proved incredibly convenient. I also enjoyed the breakfast, with a good selection of tasty options.

Two minor points to note: there was no fridge (however, if you have any small items that require fridge, you can ask the staff about storing them in their fridge) or kettle in the room, which may be important considerations for some guests.

From the reception staff through to the size and daily cleaning of the room, this hotel is ideal for a short break. Air-conditioned with a comfortable bed and walk-in shower. Easy access from the metro, with bus stops close by make this an ideal base for exploring the city. Reception also arranged our early morning taxi, which was much appreciated

A note for any light sleepers: Situated directly across from a main hospital, the room was well sound proofed with little noise penetrating once the window was closed. We can't comment on breakfast, as we stayed on a room only basis but other provisions were available, although no tea or coffee facilities in the room.

The receptionist at check-in was really nice, smiling, very professional, helpful and polite. A very warm welcome which was really lovely! We had requested and ironing board which was ready for us at check-in. Great service overall. The room was big, very clean with a large comfortable bed/good pillows and good size bathroom. Amenities in the room were perfect, great value for money. We only stayed one night but we would definitely book again and highly recommend. Thank you for the great service :)

A little far from the tram stop and from the city centre was the only downside, but great value for money so we didn't mind the distance.

24 hour check in and friendly & helpful reception staff. Room code meant not having to worry about forgetting/losing keys. Good, quiet aircon meant it was a nice temperature to sleep at night without letting in noise from the window. Location well connected on public transport and only a short walk from bars/nightlife, but felt quiet and safe to walk back to late at night. Overall a good base for our adventures in the city.

TV reception wasn't great and a few channels didn't work at all. Worth remembering that because it's close to hospital there will be sirens through the night - although this didn't disturb our sleep too badly with the window shut.

The location of the hotel is absolutely great only few minutes to the Metro line 1 station. Also, the staffs are friendly and the hotel offers daily cleaning if you need.

The air conditioning in my room is a little bit awkward, I turned it to 10 degrees which is not different to the 20 degrees…. But because the temperature is not too high, so generally is fine.

Really good value, staff were very helpful and it was close to a metro.

It is about a 40min walk to the port - which means either taxis or metro at night coming home if that is where you are going out. Only a few options for coffee / to eat in the close vicinity. Busy as across the road from hospital, but did not hear any sirens at all in the room

The rooms were comfortable, and had plenty of space even though they are quite small. The beds were comfortable and the air con was pretty good too.

It's a little far from the nearest tram/metro/train station, about a 10 minute walk and it's not that straightforward. However, it's still a. Good budget choice for Marseille and you can get to the city in under 30 minutes door to door.

It felt relatively safe even tho the neighbourhood was maybe not the best. The staff was friendly and funny, the rooms clean and spacious. We had a small balcony overlooking the city which we really appreciated. It was quiet in the b&b in general but outdoors was a bit noisy since as mentioned it is not the best neighbourhood in Marseille. But we probably would stay there again since the staff really made the stay easy and it is one of the budget options.

Room was a good size which space to move around and sort out our stuff. Very comfortable and a good sized bathroom. Location was very quiet, mainly with other hotels and student accommodation and the hospital. So not much going on food wise. But a easy walk to the metro and a supermarket nearby.

No access to water or a hot drink if you didn't sign up to the breakfast.
