great place, really beautiful interior, just like the pictures! great for relaxing by the pool after a long day of sightseeing. it’s also super clean! :)

it’s worth mentioning that there’s a quite loud kindergarten playground right next door, also no one speaks a word of English The “breakfast included” is just jam and bread every single day, so it’s best if you still get something extra for yourself if you’re used to eating a bit more in the morning :)

Bed were super comfy. It's a quirky hotel with lots of small nice touches and was clean. Staff were polite and helpful. Such an excellent location - 15 minutes walk from the Old Port. Lots of great restaurants nearby - we loved Cafe la Muse for breakfast and lunch, Yamato for sushi and Baskawai for delicious and very reasonably priced Basque food. The swimming pool was a real bonus for the afternoons - our kids enjoyed playing with other children. The jacuzzi was lovely too, was a little oasis in the middle of the city.

The rooms were very small. We stayed in Pirates - two adults and two children. It was a squeeze getting in and out of the bathroom. We travelled with just hand luggage, have no idea how we would have fit large suitcases in either room. Was also a very narrow winding staircase to carry cases up. The top bunk doesn't have a safety rail. The lady who checked us in also didn't know how the air-conditioning worked (the bathroom light needs to be on!) - it was 37 Celsius and I had to insist she call the owner as it was unbearable without.

Beautiful, the swimming pool and jacuzzi were amazing to have, it wasn’t too busy, the room was lovely. Even with no english the check in was smooth. Good location.

It’s an old house so if you’re a light sleeper keep in mind you can hear some noises through the doors. Personally I wasn’t affected. I wouldn’t come here with children. It works much better as a romantic getaway. Would have loved some shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Also note that the check in is truly at 3pm unless you tell them otherwise, it’s not a hotel where you can rock up anytime and leave your luggage as we learnt! 🙂

Quirky Hotel hidden in the backstreets close to Notre Dame du Monte. The interior is in the style of a Farm house in the Town - Un Mas en Ville. Our twin room had one doublebed and a single bed in a separate room, which ws connected by an internal door. I understand these are sometimes let separately, which would not be ideal. The bathroom was small but adequate. The towels and bathrobes were lovely. The hotel also offers a small plunge pool and a jacuzzi. There are plenty of restaurants in the nearby Notre Dame du Monte as well as a metro station. 15 minutes walk to the central port area.

We were told the time and location of breakfast, but when we turned up the next morning, we were informed that we hadn't booked breakfast and couldn't pay on the day. Not a big problem as the Cafe de la Muse, 2 minutes up the hill, provided a good breakfast. The street that the hotel is in looks run down as all the buildings are covered in graffiti, but this is typical for Marseilles!

The beautiful backyard pool and the jacuzzi. Love for details everywhere. Free good coffee. Good location, not dar from the vieux port et Notre-Dame-du-Mont, nice restaurants and bars in the area

You could hear everything through the walls. The whole backyard is a little narrow, so no space for sunbeds to relax, the room was narrow too. The room has been cleaned only after 6 days.

The place is as amazing as the photos. The whole place is very clean and well maintained. The family rooms are great and the beds sooo comfortable. They provide robes for the jacuzzi and pool, which is wonderful. The pool was a little cool as the weather wasn't overly hot but the jacuzzi made up for it. The staff don't speak much English but were super lovely and made it part of the wonderful experience. They greeted us with a refreshing drink on arrival too. The location is close to the metro and heaps of places to eat.

Nothing. Only my very tall son could not stand comfortably in the shower or room due to low ceilings..haha

The rooms were gorgeous and well put together. The pool was beautiful and it was nice that we could use it whenever. The spa was nice and relaxing. The whole place was very charming. It was near lots of food options and the local vibe was trendy and chilled out. It was a short walk to the docks.

Nothing specifically, I really enjoyed all aspects, it would be hard to check in if you don’t know any French, but with my limited French, we got it done without too much miscommunication

It was really like a hidden gem within the busy-ness of Marseille. There are lots of little cafes nearby, and it's only about a 15 minute walk to Vieux Port, and about 3 minutes to the Notre dame du Mont Metro station. The two ladies who did the breakfasts etc were really friendly and looked after us beautifully. The breakfast was lovely and there was plenty of it and we were kept well stocked with clean towels etc. We had the room with a balcony over looking the street, which was perfect for us. Sitting out, enjoying the warm weather, listening to the sounds of the city and watching the sunsets was amazing. It was noisy, but that's what we wanted, as we enjoy the 'city -vibe' and loved being within it. The swimming pool was lovely after a long day and going from that to the hot jacuzzi was amazing!

Nothing! We loved it

Beautiful hotel, just like the photos, very nicely decorated with terracotta tiles and wood. The pool in the courtyard was lovely, though there were mosquitos around the pool in the evening. The hot tub was wonderful, tucked away around the corner from the courtyard - it felt very private. Having access to the kitchen area with seating and glasses to drink our own wine was pleasant. The room was a very good size, our room had a small second room with an additional bed.

There was a coffee machine in the kitchen but only disposable cups. It would have been better to have real cups as there is space to wash up. The room was not cleaned at all during our stay which was 4 nights. There is no reception. I had a text just before we arrived telling the code for the door, but I don't know what we would have done if my phone hadn't been working as this was quite short notice. When we arrived everything was fine, but we didn't see any staff that first day. The second day I found someone to pay the tourist tax to. Later in our stay we saw some other staff members, but they didn't greet us and largely ignored us. It felt strange and unfriendly. However the hotel was beautiful and we had no problems so it was fine.

Charming old building with kind staff and a beautiful patio area with a pool and jacuzzi that my family really enjoyed. Very clean. Surprisingly tranquil and lovely spot on a street with a lot of graffiti (like much of Marseille). We noticed that a scene of the movie Stillwater was filmed on the same street as the hotel.

Breakfast was beautifully laid out but a bit pricey.
