The location is perfect - 800m to the center, beach, and train station. In the quiet neighborhood, 2 tram stations are on the 100m - lines 1 and 2 so you have a direct connection to the airport (25 min) and center (1-3 stations). Breakfast is ok, the staff is friendly. In front of the hotel, there are 2 restaurants with good prices, and Lidl is about 350m. The bathrooms are clean.

The sound isolation and floors are terrible. When someone walks in the room above you, you can hear their footsteps, and you hear very loudly every closing of the doors on the floor. The rooms are small but we knew that at the start. The doors, furniture, windows, and curtains are old, but the beds and pillows are ok.

Very good location in town - close to main street, Old town and sea. Direct tram's from airport stop just a few hundred meters away. Impressive old building, quite half-pedestrian street very close to main street. Rooms cleaning at daily basis. Good breakfast. Helpful staff

Not enough plugs in a room for lap-top/phones chargers, not all existing plugs are working. WiFi, even if worked better some hours, generally was a disaster. Breakfast was good, but exactly same menu every morning, staying for a longer time some variability in menu would help. Part of hotel (which consists of two separate combined buildings) has no elevator, steps are high so for some it could be a problem.

- If your room is on the front side, there may be noise in the evenings. Under all circumstances, staff tries to solve your problem and create alternatives to you.

Perfect location. 2 min walk from Jean Medicin tramstation (the number 2 line from and to the airport) and near to everything from shopping area, to good restaurants and a 10 min walk to Promenade d'Anglaise. Very comfy bed. Maybe too warm duveet:) Good breakfast choices with good hours for it (7-10). Very good value for money. Nice staff

The mini cosmetics. Would have been enough with one soap for the trip, everyday the cleaning lady took the little opened soap and left another. It seems such a waste. Same with the towels, it was nice having new ones daily but if better hanging options (lot of free space for hangers in the toilet) could have dried with the same one like home. As u can see not too much to complain about

Hotel location was excellent and convenient. Most staff were helpful and polite..

When I booked one of the requirements is that there must be a lift. I was given room 502 which required climbing stairs (no lift) although it was not long. The problem is when the luggage is heavy. Upon check in the reception staff carried the luggage to my room. However on checkout early in the morning the reception staff was not very happy to help with the luggage and he dragged my suitcase down the stairs. I could have done that.. it was fortunate the suitcase or the wheels was not damaged. Otherwise the hotel service was good.

Good value and well situated small hotel for an overnight stay in Nice. Room was very clean and all the staff we encountered were very helpful With regard to location the hotel is a comfortable 10 minute walk from Central Station and a 5 minute walk from the airport tram stop which was perfect for us. Easy walking distance to Promenade des Anglaise, Old Nice and other tourist landmarks plus ideal for Nice's fabulous shops, cafes and restaurants. We can also recommend the buffet breakfast (€12) which was excellent with good selection of cereals, yoghurt, breads, pastries, fruit, incuding fresh etc. as well as boiled and scrambled eggs and bacon. Various coffees, teas and juices were also available

Good selection for breakfast, rooms were basic but had everything we needed, location is a 2 min walk to the closest tram stop, and a 10-15 min walk to the train station. Plenty of food options nearby. Overall a reasonably priced choice for a hotel for visiting Nice/Monaco

In one of our rooms the shower was broken and it took a few days to fix. The doors are thin so late at night we often heard doors slamming and other guests talking loudly outside our room. The facilities seem to be a bit of a lottery as to what you get (e.g. we booked 3 rooms, one had a fridge but the other two didn't).

Really great location, close to everything and in particular the station to get get to and from the airport.

Hotel Boreol was pleasantly situated really close to the main street in a lovely quiet corner. It has an attractive and classy entrance. Most of all, the staff were extremely approachable and helpful. The room was kept clean to a really high standard. And the bed very well made and comfortable. Great breakfast available. A tram stop was close by which allowed access to popular destinations.

I am very satisfied with everything. Can't find fault with anything. Any problems were dealt with quickly with very good grace. For instance, we had a problem with the shower that was fixed by the time we returned from our day's activities.
