Pros: Friendly front desk staff My room on the 5th floor had a balcony with table and chairs. It was fabulous to relax at night overlooking the roof tops and the twinkling lights in the distance. I had a single room and the bed was wider than a standard twin bed but smaller than a double bed. It was absolutely perfect for one person. There are several restaurants immediately outside the front door of the hotel. The Vietnamese restaurant was very good. The elevator works well. Bathroom had a magnifying mirror. Excellent hot water in the shower. One of the best bakeries in Nice is one and a half blocks away - Boulangerie Nicoise with excellent quiches My room had a mini fridge and hot water kettle. Double glazed windows were great at blocking out city noise

The room showed signs of wear and tear. Walls did not have great soundproofing and could hear people in the neighboring rooms. The bathroom faucet was the wrong size for the sink and it was impossible to wash my face and hands without getting water all over the counter. There are 7-8 stairs to enter the hotel which really isn't great for anyone traveling with heavy luggage.

The hotel is 2 minutes walk from the L2 tram to the airport. Anna, the receptionist was very helpful and pleasant. She helped us to check in and stored our luggages. We booked two rooms and requested two separate beds for one of the rooms. To our surprise, one of our rooms were upgraded to a duplex room with two queens size beds. I guess, this hotel does not offer two twin beds in a single room. There are some nice restaurants across the street from the hotel.

I woke up every two hours because the AC was too loud. My two friends in the duplex room had the same issue.

The hotel is close to the centre of the city, the building was a chateau so the main downstairs rooms are beautiful. I asked for a room with a balcony and it was large enough to eat on and relax. The room was very clean with a small fridge. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. A quiet location yet short walk gets you to one of the main shopping areas, and a little further to the old city. Lots of cafés close by. Very easy to get to the hotel from the airport on tram line 2, Durandy station is on Rue Pastorelli, turn right from the station, hotel is a short walk and set back from the street. Highly recommended.

Great location for the price and the lobby, breakfast/common areas were very clean and attractive. The room was nice, had a loft for the kids and had 2 bathrooms. Beds were very comfy, and the air condition was good compared to most of the other places I've stayed in Europe. Breakfast was a little nicer than some of the other places we stayed. Good variety. Great variety of restaurant options right outside the front door. Reminded me of California.

The walls were pretty thin. Our neighbors were noisy and came in late...we could hear everything. The stair case to the loft was very steep around the curves and had black carpet so we had to use a flashlight so see them at night.

The hotel is in a lovely building with beautiful decoration in the communal areas. Staff were very friendly and the room was always clean and tidy with excellent housekeeping. There was a good bathroom with a power shower and nice toiletries were provided. The hotel is a short walk from the town centre.

There were no problems. The beds were a little close together in the twin room and there is a bit of noise from the road outside as to be expected in a city but this could be managed with windows closed.

Our room had a loft with the second bed. Most European hotels for 3 have a small pullout bed in the same room, not the case here. Also in the loft, there was a complete 2nd bathroom. The location is amazing, and the building is clearly historic. There are plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. The beach is 10 minutes walk away. The salon shows the unique character of the old building, and the breakfast was fantastic. Highly recommend Les Sens restaurant down the road, they have amazing dishes at an extremely affordable price.

Parking was completely booked. I had to drive a few minutes down the road to Nice Etoile to park in the very tight spots (I do have a rather large car for Nice, a Jeep Cherokee). The roads are very tight in the city, make sure to have a small car or be comfortable with the dimensions of your vehicle.

Soundproofing of the rooms is needed, all the conversations of the neighbours in the corridor and doors slamming might wake you up. Also you can hear the hoover of the housekeeper in the next room, it’s not their fault, just thin walls

Fantastically located - 10 mins walk to the old town and the beach, and 15 mins to Nice-Ville. Super handy to reach from the airport by tram. Beds were comfy and staff were superb.

Perfect central location with easy access to all the transport options. Direct tram line 2 to airport, and train or bus routes to the many interesting locations in the wider area. Good hotel breakfast and excellent restaurants for evening meals within easy walking distance. We travelled with our 19-year-old grandson who was also very happy with the atmosphere, facilities and comfort of the hotel.

Everything about this hotel suited our needs.

Clean hotel. Well located. Rooms are well equipped and functional.

Parking is a challenge - They don't have any actual spots, just a sort of driveway. I had a staff member leave a note on my car which seemed to confuse the 3 people working there. The rooms are small, like you'll struggle to open a suitcase small (however you put up with this for a few days). AC is loud and doesn't really cool the room.
