Location

Read the reviews so you know what you are getting. It says on all the others how old and dated it is, depends what budget you have an how much you will be in the property. It’s set back from the road so I didn’t notice traffic noise, the bathroom shower head falls off so you have to hold it, but overall I liked the location across the road to the beach, hair drier you have to borrow, bathroom door is a concertina affair and cracked and old windows and tiles so know all of this and you will enjoy your stay!!

The location was excellent. Across from the ocean, fresh breezes cooled the private little courtyard. The beds were very comfortable and we slept so well. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Housekeeping kept us in fresh towels and made up beds everyday 😊

The bathroom was very small and the walls were thin, but still for the price was reasonable.

Location of the hotel is perfect. Restaurants, grocery, train station, bus stop, coffee stands, and beach are steps away. Bathroom was very small in our room, but it worked. We had an ocean view. Highly recommended for this location. Really beautiful to see the ocean every morning. the staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating here. Really wonderful people to meet.

Bathroom was small, and the shower was small. But all workable things.

The hotel smells like you are walking into a museum. You immediately immerse yourself in the atmosphere of vintage and antiques. The hotel is not new for a long time, but this is all its charm. This hotel is for those who want to experience culture, French charm and chic. Don't look for luxury modern apartments here. This hotel is for those who like visiting museums and vintage shops. It seemed to me that even the dust on the dressers and the floor was made to order. Because it is necessary 😌 Let it be so. This is the charm of this hotel. I received aesthetic pleasure, the sound of the sea and rested my soul. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

Dust on the floor, cabinets and chest of drawers should still be cleaned. Also, the water in the shower should be adjusted.

The Villa Eden is an historic hotel boasting the architectural beauty of the Belle Epoque. The lavish interior architectural design elements and beatiful furnishings of the common areas impress guests with the Villa's charm. Rooms are comfortably equipped with air conditioning and other modern conveniences and embellished with artwork and furnishings echoing its rich history. Staying in this beautiful property is a sheer delight.

Villa Eden is a lovely property with friendly, efficient employees who go out of their way to make their guests enjoy their stay. Staying on the third (second floor in French term) means climbing 41 steps. Anyone staying at the property would be required to climb stairs.

Loved the little balcony, from which you could see the ocean! Room was much bigger than I was expecting. Perfect location, right across the street from the beach. Would return!

The bathroom was a little funky smelling (old pipes smell?) and they didn't have towels to borrow for the beach.

The hotel's location is excellent, and the staff is very friendly. They cleaned our room daily. Moreover, the hotel is conveniently located near the tram station, which made it easy for us to explore the city.

The toilet is located outside of the room and is shared with another room. Although this was mentioned in the description, we overlooked it before booking.

The location is great . The building itself and our room reminded me about castle . Definitely it gives you the feeling of previous century by the design.

I liked everything . The view was amazing ( we had sea view room) . It located in the walking distance to the beach .

one of the few remaining old style small hotels in Nice. it's the sort of place. Somerset Maugham might have stayed at in the twenties.

in that part of the Promenade des Anglais there are few non-posh eateries, though there is a good breakfast place one block back.

Nice location directly at the English Promenade, 2 minutes walking to the beach. And far enough from noisy beach clubs, it was really quiet at night. Very comfortable bedding, good wifi, clean bathroom. Super nice and helpful staff. We could rent beach towels from the hotel for some small money and they also provided a beach umbrella for us free of charge😉
