The room was very nice, comfortable bed, nice view. We had a room on the corner that had a semi balcony with rails, the view was pretty nice. Bathroom big enough with a bathtub. We had our room cleaned by the staff every day(we had a 4 night stay). Close to bus stations and subway stations. Quiet room. Received a clothing iron when asked.

It is placed between gare du nord and gare du est so the neighbourhood is extremely busy with sketchy people, so at night you might have a feeling of unsafety. We didnt have any entcounters but you have to be aware of your sourroundings. There is low storage space but enough for 4 night stay. The shower head is broken, I slightly cut myself with it, nothing bad need a little fixture.

Appia La Fayette is located 5 minutes walk from Paris Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est, which was the main reason we chose the hotel. The hotel is close from local amenities including super markets, restaurants, cafes and patisseries, so we enjoyed very tasty baguettes from local patisseries, French breakfast at nearby cafe and not expensive French cuisine such as onion soup and galettes at local bistros! We were allocated to the twin room as we requested, however, if I should mention, I would like to spot the size of the single bed was quite small. Bathroom was clean and modern. Water server was provided for guests in front of the reception which was convenience for us. I think that the best feature of Appia La Fayette is its location, so it offers good value when the location is considered.

Nothing I did not like, but if I should mention, I would spot that the size of single bed (twin room) was quite small.

My family and I enjoyed the stay at Appia La Fayette, it locates near Gare Du nord Eurostar station (5 min walk) and public transport by Metro and bus are very convenient. We met reception staff Michel who was friendly and very helpful to our enquiries. The hotel seemed recently renovated. It looked new and clean. We found the room comfortable, we appreciated the high cleaningness standard of the room and bathroom. The french balcony window was a nice touch of the room. We found nice restaurants near the hotel. If I visit Paris again, I definitely will book Appia for its good value for money and convenience.

The big photo of a railway in a forest was just above the headboard of the bed shocked me and my family, it looked like I was going to lie on the railway to kill myself! It was not a comfortable photo to see! I prefer the wall just paint a light colour.

Good hotel if you want to spend 2-3 days in Paris. Small but nice room. Bathroom big. Breakfast acceptable but choice small, coffee from the machine. Staff polite. Elevator worked well. There are many small cafes and a vegetable shop near the hotel.

The water in the bathroom is flowing freely on the whole floor, then it takes time for the water to dry. The room is very small, as it often happens in Paris in 2 or 3 star hotels. The station (metro) is about 10 minutes walk, which is not very convenient for elderly and disabled people. The area is very busy especially at night.

Walking distance feom Gare du Nord, restaurant, cafés and bars. Also close to most places of interest. If you would rather use public transport to get around in the city, also a perfect location. Staff is exceptionally kind and helpful.

The room was super clean but rather worn out. The bed is comfortable. The only discomfort was the size: small room, small bathroom. But it is a 3-star hotel, no luxury accomodation. Very good value for money if you want to use the hotel as it is for: somewhere to sleep.

location is ideal, less than 5 minutes walk to Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est stations. thereby giving easy access into all aspects of Paris. Good mix of eateries, markets, supermarkets within easy walk of the hotel. staff at Appia were very helpful and welcoming. Room was a decent size for Paris and cleaned every day.

the hotel is showing its age a little. when you look closely there are certain areas of the decoration and maintenance that could be improved on

The room was very comfortable and had a good space for 2 people. We had a kettle and a coffee machine! The bathroom was large and had a great shower. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We were able to put our bags in storage for free and get sight seeing in Paris. It is sited between Gare de l'Est and Gare du Nord so easy for all rail and underground connections.

The breakfast was €17 so we didn't eat in the hotel. I imagine it is great as the rest of the hotel is!

Although the room was small, it was very comfortable. The bathroom was modern and exceptionally clean, offering great value for the price. The location was also perfect.

However, the elevator was a bit old and made some unsettling noises, which was a little scary. I also didn't notice when booking that my room didn't come with a kettle, which was quite inconvenient

Although perfectly located between Gare du Nord and Gare de l’est one must be safety conscious even during the day walking along the sidewalks.

The staff were very nice, the facilities like the elevator and the wheelchair entrance were very thoughtful and they gave me a room that had a disabled bathroom because of my disability which was very thoughtful and excellent service. I also like the buffet breakfast in the morning and the kettle and coffee and tea in the bedrooms.

The only thing I didn't like was the location and I learnt and saw questionable characters. I was also cautioned to watch around me when stepping out at night.
