The close proximity to both gare de l'est and gare du Nord and metro stations are very convenient. No noise from the trains in my room.

Unexpected position of the hotel results in awkward non traditional approach. The light source in the bathroom had a poor CRI rating. Strange flat colors while you are doing your thing.

Our welcome at OKKO hotels Gare de L'Est was warm, friendly and helpful. We were able to choose our room based on preferences, and were advised about all the extra freebies we could help ourselves to in the snack section - which was generous, ample, delicious and 24/7. The room was very clean, modern, well appointed and comfortable, as well as the whole hotel being extremely quiet considering how busy they were, and how close we were to a major train station.

The area around Gare de L'Est and the hotel itself directly isn't the most beautiful, however with a short walk or metro ride you are very close to easy access to the wonderful city of Paris and all it has to offer. However, what you lose in immediate surroundings beauty, you gain in convenience and access, and there were LOADS of great places to eat and drink nearby so it's only a small detail.

The facility looks good outside and inside too. Everything was clean, the room was just like the pictures, bed was very comfortable and the whole staff was friendly and professional.

The location is well connected to the city as it is right next to both to Gare de l’Est and Gare du Nord train station (which is great), however as the facility is located right behind the station, I felt a bit uncomfortable walking by it especially at night as there were people always around that area that made me feel a bit unsafe as a girl. I probably wouldn’t go back if I was doing a solo trip but if I were with someone else I would definitely go back!

The hotel was very quiet and is extremely convenient for visitors arriving in Gare de l'Est or Gare du Nord. The reception and bar/restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. The lounge (club) area is very pleasant, with free hot drinks, water and snacks all day. There is also free water available in the corridors. The hotel is making a good effort to reduce plastic waste.

The bedroom is open plan, so the shower unit and sink are not in a separate room. This may not appeal to everyone! The bedrooms have a Nespresso machine, but no kettle. However, complimentary tea is available in the club.

Ideal location right next to major train station and a metro within 2 minutes walk with direct line to the 1st, and easy connects to all other neighbourhoods. Heard no noise at all from neighbouring station, and room was clean and nice. Staff were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely stay. Breakfast was excellent, fresh items regularly restocked and a classic continental style relaxed atmosphere - worth your money to add on. Also done small cheese board in the evening where you could also order drinks. Would return if was back in Paris.

Just a little hidden away and did take a while to find initially, but once you know then it’s simple. The room isn’t self like most in Paris is small, the bathroom especially, but clean. We paid through booking.com, note you pay further city tax on arrival, and then additional tax again was added to our final invoice - something to factor in.

The location was great for us, we were only staying a day in town so needed a train-friendly place between the 2 stations. The complimentary coffee/tea and cake was welcome and the lobby was a nice place to hang out since the room was not big (but it was comfortable). Mattress was medium-firm, and comfortable. Room was the "No view" Classic double, facing away from the station, so it was fairly quiet (tho some noise is impossible to avoid on a weekend). Good wifi. I did not try the breakfast, but passing it by it didn't look amazing for the asking price.

I had not realised that the shower cubicle is set within the room, and only a slated wooden divider for privacy: make sure you're fairly comfortable with your traveling companion. The toilet itself is private but very small, and probably just the minimum legal dimensions. As a larger person, I found this difficult and ended up using the facilities on the ground floor which are more roomy.

Great location! Superb staff - I especially loved and miss my reception lady (I am so sorry that I forget your name but YOU know who you are)!! The extra specials (free of charge 24/7 with the exception of the appetizers) that the hotel provides is above and beyond and extremely appreciative; assorted teas, coffee machine (cappuccinos, hot chocolate, hot milk, etc) water, juices, assorted fruit, assorted desserts - spectacular! Various appetizers ALSO provided in the business area at certain times during each day. Honestly, this hotel knows what they are doing and its obvious! Thank you for such an incredible experience and fantastic stay!!!!

The weather....LOL - Not joking but joking! This place is fantastic! The weather did suck but you wont be disappointed. We stayed in 7 hotels during our 3.5 week stay throughout Europe and this was one of my FAV!!!

Easy check-in and helpful, polite staff. Rooms are very clean and well equipped. We were on ground floor which was very quiet and practical. Lounge is very stylish, good breakfast, we enjoyed the complimentary drinks and snacks which were a nice touch to the stay. Good location - 5 mins to Gare du nord and adjoining to gare de l'est

toilet is small but separate from shower. this did not affect us but may be difficult for elderly or those with mobility issues. limited hot food options at breakfast but we still enjoyed it

Staff was friendly and efficient. While small the room has everything needed and was very comfortable. Everything was clean and modern. Wifi worked well. Location is super convenient with public transit nearby and a host of great restaurants (including some of my favourites in Paris) within a 20 minute walk.

Inspection of rooms might be deficient. My shower drain didn’t drain well (or at all) ended up creating a flood in the bathroom section. As I mentioned it to the staff, but as I was staying only the one night no idea if it was resolved.

The location of the property was brilliant for travellers using the Gard du Nord or de l’Est (with a lift to avoid the long stairs!). The rooms was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. No carpet, which is a bonus in terms of hygiene. The staff was nice and very helpful. The breakfast was top quality, served till late, and no teabags but delicious leaf tea. I would certainly be back should I be in Paris again. Very quiet. They welcome dogs (no surcharge for us!)

The toilet was separate, at least in our room, and my husband, who is quite tall, thought it was too small for him. No problem for me, but I am pretty average in terms of size. Also if you are after a view, this may not be a great choice. Our view was a wall.
