The central location, We walked down through the Palais Royale to The Louvre on Saturday evening and on Sunday wandered up through the covered shopping galleries to Montmartre. The hotel is close to Opera Metro station so you can pretty much get anywhere in Paris easily.

We arrived at 3pm and our room wasn't ready which wasn't a big deal. We were told that it would be available in ten minutes and were directed to the bar where we spent 20 euros for a couple of soft drinks - if we were to go back we would just pop out to one of the local cafes before using the hotel bar which is a windowless affair (from my memory) just off reception. Our room once available was fine although the aircon didn't appear to be working. However, the temperature was cool enough in early April so it didn't worry us. We didn't book breakfast as it was much cheaper to eat locally than pay the b&b rate.

Can’t beat the location and the price. The staff was amazing and really went the extra mile to make sure you were taken care of.

Nothing that wouldn’t make me stay at this hotel in the future. The room service for late night request would be nice since shows don’t end until 11:00pm at night. Lucky for us the location was perfect to venture out to grab a bite to eat until 1am. There is a piano bar around the corner called Harry’s New York Bar I would highly recommended.

Well situated between the Opera and the Louvre with easy shopping and groceries and of course fantastic patisseries as well as a great second-hand clothing shop for a quick wardrobe update (you’re in Paris after all!) The bed was comfortable and the room was big enough and so was the bathroom with excellent cleaning crews. We enjoyed the daily breakfast that was included and apologize to the cleaning crew for all the croissant crumbs in our room! Also, there was a mini-bar fridge big enough to accommodate our own food purchases and leftovers which I always appreciate!

From start to finish, the hotel made our trip just perfect. From the moment we arrived outside our bags were taken in for us and taken up to our room. I had messaged the hotel to tell them it was my birthday and they made it so special! I arrived to a bow on my door, there was a turn down service in which the first night they left me a chocolate torte for my birthday (which was delicious and so unexpected!) The beds were really comfortable, the views were amazing and the small window balcony was just the best way to experience our first trip to Paris. A special mention to Laurent who was a fantastic host and a credit to the hotel. He made personal reservations for us at a restaurant and even walked us part of the way there! I could genuinely not have had a better experience, thank you so much! highly recommend!

This is not a criticism as much as it is a note to say it would be better to pre warn visitors about the staff service charge that is added each day. it was around 22 euro per day, we had already chosen to tip some individuals so it was a surprise to have this added to the bill, but we were happy to pay it.

I enjoyed my stay at the Edouard 7 mainly due to the staff's efforts. I was impressed by how courteous and professional they are and by how much pride they take in ensuring that we had a comfortable stay and in the reputation of the hotel. The area around the hotel is very safe and there are many small fantastic bistros to try. We did not try the restaurant of the hotel, but it was quite busy. The bathroom was roomy and well maintained. I definitely wish to return to the Edouard 7.

I felt that prices in Paris are in general accelerating and the price for the Edouard 7 was high. However, for a hotel of that location and quality and with the olympic games coming up, my comments on price are probably irrelevant.

Excellent location, central, open tour, bus, metro, bus to airport, shopping area, Louvre, Opera. Very good room, big, clean, quiet. Very nice and helpful all the people from the reception and the housekeeper. Exceptional behaviour.

Not individual products for washing, only one shower cap, one little soap, one bottle of water although I booked a 2 persons room and I have mentioned on booking that I am not alone and instead of hot weather. I prefer to pay 15 euro extra and have my water, my own little soap,, body lotion, shower gel every day. The bottle of shower gel didn't work or was finished. For a 4 stars it's not good. I had more toiletries in a 3stars hotel. The gym hall is very small, no windows. The room price is quite high.

The location, the staff and the comfort was overall excellent! The front desk people are very helpful. They really went extra mile to help us out on our last day as we were checking out and the road was closed due to protest. They took us to our Uber and waited with us for atleast 45 mins just to make sure we get into our Uber safe. That was pure great service. And we will never forget that. We come to Paris quite often, we will back at this hotel for sure. Very highly recommended.

From the minute you arrive the welcome is great. Reception staff very professional. Renauld the concierge was a Gem. He certainly knows his stuff. Marie- Clement ( hope I have her name right) was just lovely and had a very warm welcome and and goodbye for us. We stayed here to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and it was a great choice. A big Red Ribbon decorated the door to our suite. A wonderful touch.

Nothing it is noted as a 4 star hotel and it's one of the nicest 4 stars I've stayed in. All requests were answered very very well. We did not have the breakfast there but that was no reflection on the hotel as we got up late and wanted to eat out

It was my mum's and dad's birthday trip, so the hotel had prepared a nice surprise, which was an amazing touch. The rooms are impeccably clean and the staff is excellent. The breakfast buffet is awesome and the location is the best indeed - you can walk pretty much everywhere, we even walked to Montmartre from the hotel and it wasn't too far. Absolutely loved this hotel and will be back!
