The Breakfast was superb. There was a wide choice of food from a selection of cereals, drinks including fruit juices, croissants, cakes, bread and fruits. All this food was of a very high quality.

The Room was an issue initially as we were banging our heads against the low ceiling, however we adjusted to this situation. The shower unit was difficult to use, the doors were difficult to open

The location of this hotel was incredible — fun restaurants and bars around, 20 minute walk to the Seine, 5 minute walk to the closest metro stop. The room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly.

The WiFi in our room wasn’t working, and though I asked staff for help multiple times, it was never fixed. The bathrooms don’t have windows or a vent, so instead they had these little translucent panels that let air (as well as sound!) pass through into the main room; this was fine, and I completely understand the reasoning, but it limited psychological privacy in the bathroom.

The room was great for our family. We were greeted with chocolates and a bottle of wine to celebrate our stay for the Olympic Games. Our family of 4 was a bit tight, but we were not inconvenienced by that at all. I loved being able to open the window on to the street and take a look outside. The petit dejeuner was a great start to each day and we appreciated the light snacks near the elevator throughout the day. I appreciated the staff's efforts to communicate with me in English. I also understand the pressure the staff are under to communicate in multiple languages, especially with the entire world converging on Paris for the Olympics. The cleaning crew and kitchen staff were incredibly polite and helpful.

I felt that the front desk staff were tired of or impatient with me but that softened as time went on during our stay. I did not love the towels in the room but they worked just fine for what we needed. The walls were kind of thin and we could hear our neighbors in the hallway quite clearly. Not a major inconvenience, though.

Really friendly and helpful reception staff, who made the trip a really positive experience. The decor was smart and seemed to have been recently decorated. The location was great, as there were lots of excellent restaurants nearby and a lot of things, including the Louvre and the Gare du Nord, within easy walking distance. We even walked to the Eiffel Tower, which was just over an hour and flat all the way. The bed was very comfortable. We were also given a room with a balcony, as a free upgrade, which was a nice touch. Overall a good stay and good value for money.

We wouldn't do bed and breakfast if we came back here, as the breakfast was very disappointing and wasn't a full continental breakfast. We went out for breakfast on the second day, even though we had paid for it as part of the rate. We were also a little disappointed by the housekeeping, the room could have been a little cleaner and the shower seal was broken - and when we got back at 3, having been out since 10am, our room hadn't been cleaned, so we had to leave it for the day.

Location very good with alot of amenities in the area. Room was 500euro for family of 4 which was not cheap but seems to be standard for the area. Room was set up very well for the 4 people with bunk beds for 2 children under 11. Breakfast reasonably priced at 50 euro for the four people (included in the 500Euro), quality of breakfast reflects the price, not fantastic but perfectly adequate. Coffee and bread were good, the rest just OK. Large amount of cafes and restaurants very close by so they can be used for breakfast if desired. Area is nice and hotel has a lot of authentic character. Staff very helpful and room was ready when we arrived 45 mins before official check in time so we could go to room immediately and get set up. Overall standard was better than I expected for a 3 star hotel.

Noise from other rooms is very pronounced but this is normal for older city centre hotels all around the world. How this affects any guest depends on the guests in neighbouring rooms. This is obviously just luck of the draw.

Location, facilities, staff. There was an error in the room assigned but the daytime manager was super helpful and sorted that out for us immediately. Thank you again for that.

The heating in the passageway to the room and the room itself was extremely too high. We had to sleep with the balcony doors slightly ajar to help. Even after dropping the room thermostat to 17 degrees and turning off the thermostat in the bathroom. No soap in the shower dispenser.

Good location, approximately 15 minute walk from Eurostar. Metro is near by approximately 6 min. Lots of places to eat near by. Friendly staff.

Could do with kettle, tea/coffee in room so that guests could make a hot drink. Quite inconvenient going down to the reception to make a hot drink. Also, should notify guests in advance that there is a €100 deposit payment required at check in on your card in case you run up a tab for your room. This payment is cancelled when you check out but they do take the payment upfront.

Great location, modern room, well serviced. Breakfast was also decent.

The room was a bit too warm on the whole - the air con didn’t seem to work and I couldn’t adjust the temperature. A large radiator which is good if you’re cold but I couldn’t control it. Had to open the door/window in the end. Was in December. Distinct lack of cupboard/drawer space. There was one cupboard where you could only hang up some shirts, and this was right on top of the safe so any long coats wouldn’t have fitted. Had to keep rest of my clothes in my suitcase which was an annoyance.
