Really enjoyed the fact there was a restaurant downstairs and the staff there were excellent too. Room was quiet despite being on the main road in an active part of town with a lot of nightlife. Overall a great stay and would more than happy to go back - great bars all around for that nightcap.

People should know that it is in a busy part of town and it could be compared to Londons Soho but provided you are comfortable with that then I would still very much recommend it.

Le Chat Noir Made our stay on Montmatre enjoyable. It was quite and convenient and very modern. The staff was friendly, though we did not need them.

The location in general was fantastic to access Paris but I didn’t realise it was essentially a red light district before booking. That said we had no issues other than some rowdiness heard during the night and early morning over the weekend.

Aside from a picture falling off the wall and smashing glass all over the floor when we first arrived and entered our room (which was cleaned up promptly but hotel staff), I have nothing negative to say about our room. Our room was very comfortable and clean and everything worked as it should.

The room was very clean and of a good size, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was powerful with constant hot water. The location was excellent with the hotel being close to cafes, bars, restaurants and shops of a wide variety! The Blanche metro station, the Moulin Rouge and the Sacre Coeur are all within walking distance. It's also possible to catch a city sightseeing bus and the Petit Train tour of Montmartre nearby. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

The television remote control was very frustrating to use.

We had a wonderful stay at Le Chat Noir. Andre at reception was friendly, helpful, and took great care of us. The hotel offers some of the most spacious rooms in Montmartre, perfect for families. Don’t be put off by the location; we felt safe and comfortable throughout our stay. Monoprix is conveniently across the road, and Blanche Metro Station is just a 2-minute walk away, as is the Petit Train stop near Moulin Rouge. Highly recommended for a family-friendly stay!

Rooms can sometimes get dusty if windows are left open due to the hotel's location on a busy main street, but daily room service helps keep everything clean.

The hotel was perfectly located, excellent access to metro and local shops and Montmarte. Yes it’s surrounded by sex shops but it’s quiet and much more appealing than other main tourist spots on the city. We were given a free update when we checked in, to a room with a balcony and view of the Eiffel tower which was fabulous and we recommend this room. The rooms aren’t huge but have everything you need for a few nights in Paris. The staff were welcoming and offered great service and breakfast was a lovely well presented continental.

we booked a room for 3 which was large for a city centre property, it was clean comfortable and the shower was powerful, location worked for us and the metro is very close, the staff were helpful and pleasant.

the room was a tad on the warm side (in October) which was easily remedied by opening the lovely large windows, might be an issue in the summer? The sound from other rooms did travel a bit nothing too bad but could be an issue if you had particularly noisy neighbours.

I was allowed to check in early as my room was ready, plus I got a free upgrade. This is the second time I have been to the hotel, and I am always met with kindness. The location was perfect for me as it was 2 minutes from the metro, and a 15-30 minute walk from everything else I needed. It's next to the Moulin Rouge, and a supermarket. It was also walking distance to the MARTYRS, which has lots of beautiful coffee shops and patisserie.

The female receptionist wasn't as warm as the other people who manned the reception. The female receptionist was often on the phone, and not really attentive. I will assume that she was only like to to me because is is quite immature and threatened by other women. I believe she is different towards other groups of people.

Great view of the Eiffel Tower and Paris rooftops from our little balcony (which we had requested - thank you!) Really good location - walk to Montmartre one way and to south Pigalle the other, so loads of local restaurants, cafes/bakeries and bars - plus choice of metro stations/ lines for all around the city. Buzzing, lively area but not disturbed by noise at all in our high floor room - felt warm and cosy even with wild winds and rain outside.

While the dark decor is a great nod to the old Le Chat Noir venue, it does highlight how getting old affects your eyesight! I found it a bit dark trying to get ready.
