Location, terrace and view were lovely. The staff were very cheerful and helpful.

Lack of attention to the mini bar. We arrived to a half eaten bar of toblerone, and no bottle opener, so it had not been checked.

Overall exceeded my expectations because the service was top notch. The rooms are so-so, they are small and bathrooms especially could use better lighting and a makeup mirror. They did provide enough towels and a hair dryer. We had booked 2 connecting double rooms, which was plenty of space for 3 of us (2 adults and one nearly grown teen), and gave us 2 bathrooms. We had a nice view overlooking the Madeleine Church. I think overall European rooms are probably smaller than US, so that is to be expected. But I would definitely stay here again because it was clean, staff was eager to please, the daily breakfast is so nice, and the location is top notch - not far from the Louvre and right near the Madeleine metro. Also they do have room service, and the cafe next door is open until 1 am (and was very good - I really enjoyed our meal there).

Honestly just the bathrooms were a little small, but I did like the bathtub and they provided a hair dryer. I would work on lighting and make-up mirror (to help with not only makeup but also putting in contacts etc). That's it - I can't think of anything else. It really is a nice hotel!

I loved the location. It was within minutes of everything I wanted to do during this particular trip to Paris. The view from the room was lovely. Staff were very helpful. The room smelled lovely especially on our first night.

The tea bags in the room weren’t refreshed daily. The bathroom facilities were odd and a bit of an inconvenience- in the room we stayed in, the toilet didn’t have a sink. The sink was in the same “bathroom” as the shower/bathtub. So basically you would have to conclude your business on the toilet then enter the room to walk to the bathroom to use the sink. The bathtub was not comfortable for a short person to use. It was elevated from the bathroom floor - it was uncomfortable getting in and out and also using it.

The hotel is situated in a charming area of Paris, on a quiet street near iconic landmarks such as La Concorde, L'Opéra, and Les Grands Magasins, just steps away from Église de la Madeleine. A metro station is conveniently located around the corner, though we did much of our exploring on foot, enjoying the beauty of the city. The hotel itself is small and elegantly designed, with a chic atmosphere. The attentive staff went above and beyond, even assisting us in securing tickets for an exhibition.

Don't expect big rooms, it's Paris!

We didn’t quite like the room temperature : it was a bit cold due to the special ventilation device on the balcony door . It should be removed in the winter season because the warmth is blown away in spite of a good heating system

Breakfast was delicious with exceptional offerings. The location was excellent within easy walking distance to numerous historical and cultural sites. Also was walking distance to Gare Saint Lazarus which made it a breeze to make train connections. The staff was outstanding; they were sincerely friendly, and helpful beyond what I would have expected. I can’t say enough about how wonderful they made our stay. I plan to stay there again as soon as I can plan a return trip to Paris.

Hi thank you we enjoyed our stay, we especially liked the ability to have adjoining rooms with our children. We loved the fact we could open the windows out onto the street for fresh air. The staff were so friendly and I liked the fact there was someone on reception 24 hrs it made me feel safe. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others we would stay again. The location was central and wasn't too noisey. A lovely boutique Paris Hotel.

The only thing is the small bathrooms but I think that is expected.

the bath is so narrow so you can barely stand in while showering without falling! also there is no heat in the bathroom, so getting in when it’s 3 degrees outside is not fun at all. the room was not so clean. when we arrived there were crumbs and other pieces of papers on the carpet. behind the dresser there was a face mask on the carpet which means that the cleaning was in a short cut. one day i walked in the room right after the cleaning and the room was smelling terribly of an un clean mot. one day we arrived to breakfast and there was no clean/free table to sit at. we had to wait a while and there was only one person to serve and clean.

Location, location, location! 8th arrondissement. Close to Place de Concorde and high end shopping (Gucci, Prada, Hermes, Dior, etc.), although I just took photos of the beautiful window displays, and Laduree (well regarded for pasteries, tea, etc.). Also close walk to Musee L’Orangerie, the gardens, and Champs Elysees for shopping, dining and walking to the Arc de Triomphe. Reasonable walk (20 minutes) through Tuileries Garden to the Louvre and, obviously, very close (3 blocks) to Tuileries Garden. The hotel also is literally 50 meters from the Metro stop on the 14 line. Easy to get to by RER B from Charles de Gaulle and easy to go from there to wherever you need to go on the Metro. Hotel staff are exceptional: the hotel manager wrote me clearly about getting there from the airport and she and the excellent and congenial front desk staff gave me very good instructions about where things are and, with a map, getting around. Breakfast was very good for in-hotel dining, and the woman who serves encouraged me (nicely) to try my French, which I have largely forgotten. Though I recalled little, it was worth the effort and made our interactions special and enjoyable. Be pleasant and people will reciprocate with pleasantries!

My room was small, but that is okay, as I didn’t spend much time in it! My room was clean and the instruction book was helpful and clear. Internet access was easy.

The location of the hotel is excellent, just at the corner of Place de le Madeleine, just a few minutes' walk of metro station where two lines of metro are running. Many restaurants, cafés and the famous Faubourg Saint-Honore are within short walking distance. The size of the room was as expected as a hotel in such an excellent location. Equipment was "comme-ci, comme-ça" Reception staff was very supportive, kind enough to get us in even though we reached the hotel around 1 hour before check-in time. At the check-out, one additional receptionist helped us immediately when another receptionist was preoccupied with customers under "complicated discussion".

Breakfast starts at 7:15. If it had started 30-45 minutes earlier, it would have been much more convenient for us. And separation of shower room from wash basin / toilette was a bit "loose". I needed to be very careful to prevent shower water from leaking to the bathroom floor. One regrettable thing was the price. I stayed at Madeleine Plaza many times before and the room price was inflated this time, more than 30% higher than the previous stay though it can't be helped under the current circumstances but I felt a bit sad.
