Hotel Chavanel is a hidden gem! Despite being a small boutique hotel, the rooms are surprisingly spacious by Paris standards, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The breakfast was fresh and satisfying, providing a great start to the day. Located on a quiet street, the hotel is still within walking distance of major landmarks, making it the perfect base for exploring the city. The staff were polite and attentive, and both check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful yet central location in Paris.

Clean and tidy rooms and fresh decor. Given the hotel's location and type of room we booked (Classic Double), the room was pleasantly sized. Super comfortable bed and pillows. Our room was on the 5th floor and we had lovely views of the street and a lot of light. Housekeeping leaves drinking water on a daily basis. Very well located with several metro lines located within 1-2 blocks of the hotel. Well-located to the shopping, dining, etc. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely stay again on future trips to Paris. NOTE: The toilet is separate from the bath/shower, but both are contained within your room.

Not necessarily a negative, however, you do need to leave your hotel key with reception when you go out for the day. So if that is something that is important for you, look elsewhere.

The hotel was excellent, staff great, helpful, friendly and polite. Their English was superb. We didn't have breakfast so cannot comment on this. The room was small but perfectly adequate for the two of us. The bathroom and shower were great. The bed was large and very comfortable. The room was quiet and we loved the fact that you could open the large window with the Juliette balcony. We would definitely recommend this hotel and will use it again if we are in Paris. It is in a great location, easy walk to station, shops, cafes and restaurants. Value for money baring in mind we were there for the Olympics. Thank you, Hotel Chavanel.

"While this hotel carries a 4-star rating, it embodies more of a 3-star boutique hotel. The limited facilities, such as the absence of a bar and dining options, were notable aspects. Our room, albeit cozy, was on the smaller side with minimal storage options; lacking drawers made organising our belongings a bit challenging. Furthermore, the mini-bar caused the room to become uncomfortably warm. Despite these shortcomings, the hotel's unique charm and personalized ambiance might appeal to travelers seeking an intimate experience. However, those desiring more amenities and spacious accommodations might find it falls short of their expectations."

Ideally situated within walking distance to many sights and the famous department stores. All the staff were delightful, very helpful and spoke perfect English. The boutique hotel has a trendy vibe, great decor and kept immaculately clean. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was nicely served and perfectly adequate.

Staff and hotel were absolutely lovely, and so very accommodating. We were given a free room upgrade upon arrival, and given early access to our room after a long few days of travel. The hotel was centrally located so essentially had capacity to walk to most of the major sights to see. If we ever find ourselves in Paris again will definitely book with them again.

Hotel is perfectly located, very easy to reach all main attractions or shopping area. Very clean, nicely decorated with perfectly comfortable beds-felt like home:) Although our room was facing the main street, it was very quite, and AC works perfectly. Highly recommend this hotel, we will be back for sure!

The hotel was in the Madeline district close to shops and several train and underground stations. It was within easy walking distance to many of the sites. Breakfast buffet was small but well appointed. Staff were friendly.

Felt small and was stuffy at times, as the AC was not available.

There was a sweet happy Birthday note with macarons for my boyfriend. Very friendly staff. Good location for any sightseeing.

The rooftop is very low but I guess it’s common for old buildings in Paris.

It is a small but very central hotel. Restaurants, shops, and some historic attractions are very close.

We were warned that the elevator wasn't working, but we were happily assisted by the front desk staff to fet our bags up the stairs.
