The location is great, the free espresso coffee, juice and viennoiserie in the lobby was nice. The staff is amazing and very kind. I am a returning guest, and things have improved since my previous stays.

The doors of the rooms are making noise when opening and closing, and the door does not isolate the sounds from the corridor properly (there is a gap between the door and the door frame). The door needs to be locked manually with a key, and the key needs to be delievered at the reception each time you leave the hotel. The ventilation filter in the bathroom was totally dirty and clogged. Despite the heater in the mirror, it was still cold in the bathroom. The bed has no top matress, so there is a gap between the two matresses - also because the bed frame is too wide for the matresses. This can be annoying for couples who want to sleep next to each other. All the rooms are quite small, but that is normal for Paris.

The hotel is located very conveniently close to multiple public transport options. Staff is very friendly and there's always someone available 24/7. Rooms are clean and pretty modern compared to a lot of other places.

Having to hand over my key every time I left the hotel was a bit weird and inconvenient. Nobody ever asked twice when I came back and mentioned my room number to retrieve the key. I could've just mentioned any other number and would've been given the key. I also didn't really feel safe leaving my luggage in the lobby on the last day. There's no system in place to know which luggage belongs to who. It just all lumped together in one publicly reachable room.

The location is fantastic, very central to lots of restaurants and cafes. It is about 30 minute walk to The Louvre. There are two metro stations close by. My room was cleaned and made-up daily (even on weekends), and the room was well insulated from the cold. Despite being on the smaller size (due to the traditional building and location), it was well-equipped and felt spacious. The staff were exceptionally friendly and greeted me every time I walked in.

The breakfast was OK - I would have liked some eggs. The shower door didn't quite close properly meaning that it did leak slightly, however, nothing a towel couldn't solve. The cushions were a little soft for me (however, this might be personal preference).

All the staff were great. The room and hotel were very clean and the hotel is extremely well-situated. My room was a single, so I expected it to be small, but it was totally adequate with a still very comfortable double bed. I was very happy there for 3 nights. The price was good. It was a safe and quiet area. I loved having the little fridge and would especially recommend it to anyone travelling alone, as I was this time.

Nothing. I guess there wasn't a lot of natural light in the third floor room, but I was out most of the day anyway.

The location was the best part about this hotel. Its in the heart of Le Marais which is a vibrant suburb of the city. It is only 4 stops from Gard du Nord to Republique on the metro which is close to the hotel, so easily accessible for those travelling from the UK via Eurostar. The bed was very comfy and there was enough hanging space for my clothes for the 4 nights / 5 days which I stayed. Noise pollution is low given the location. The view - looks into other peoples apartment windows, which makes it dodgy getting dressed/undressed, but manageable. Breakfast was satisfactory and of a continental fashion - the coffee was lush and great to kick start the day. There is a 24hour reception who look after your hotel keys whilst you are out enjoying the day, so no stress worrying about where you may have left them.

Although the room was a good size and the bed was comfy and made each day, the floor was a bit dirty. I was running most mornings and when I returned to the room to do my stretches, I found the floors would have some crumbs, mud or hair on them, as if they hadn't been vacuumed at the same time that the bed had been made.

We would like to thank (very much) Mr Hakim and his colleagues Ms Amina, Chloe and Hasnah for their warm, helpful, and professional service rendered to my husband and me. They genuinely went out of their way to make our stay a good one! The hotel location is excellent. Our room 54 looks like it is newly refurbished, it is clean and its facilties are well-placed in the room. The room is compact though it. Is as expected because it is in Paris. Thank you!

You have to leave the key with them which is not bad But then when you ask it back you say the number and they give you it. I think they should ask for the guest’s name and then check the system for the number. I could’ve asked for any number and they would have given it. Same with the luggage keeping. They give you a piece of paper for you to keep and then ask for your luggage, but when you look for it you can just grab it and no one asks you a thing. Those are safety concerns that should be addressed.

The location is fantastic. We went from Gare du Nord to the hotel by subway and the second we got out at the République square we got the Paris vibe. This hotel is worth booking for location alone. Especially considering the price, it's just great. The breakfast is really good as well. Definitely giving you a Parisian vibe. Croissant, Pain au Chocolat, macarons, eggs, etc. Didn't seem like cheap stuff either. Tasted great!

What we didn't like certainly doesn't outweigh what we did like. I also would potentially still book here again. However, because of the photos we expected a balcony. We would've loved this to look over a Paris street or maybe take some photos. However, this is not guaranteed. Disclaimer: It was never guaranteed to us either but because of the photos we assumed it. See photo for our view from the window. Also, the room is VERY small. You can tell in the photo and for this price of course you can't expect much. Since we were out exploring Paris most of the time it wasn't a dealbreaker. But we did hit our legs against the beds corners multiple times just trying to get to the bathroom.

We enjoyed staying at the hotel. The room was clean, tidy, air conditioned and just enough size. Central location very close to Republic station. The room was surprisingly quiet with the window closed. The small breakfast room was full of choices and the service was very pleasant. It is very good to be able to drop your bags when you arrive early and leave them for a late flight. Would like to mention Remi at the Reception with his excellent customer service and all the staff were very friendly as well . Loved the mini bar with a bottle free coke, orange juice and water. Also at the reception we were offered free coffee, water, juice and croissant every time.
