I loved the location close to coffee shops and boutiques around the area. The staff was very kind and helpful when I ended up having to extend my stay and was able to keep me in the same room. The building itself is small but cute!

Walls were a bit thin. I could hear people walking in to their rooms or when the people were cleaning other rooms. Had a bit of hard time sleeping in. The hall ways were a bit tight and small.

Clean & Friendly: The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean, and have enough towels. I had quite a small room, but since I was solo and did not bring much luggage, it was fine. Perfect Location: Instead of the hotel breakfast, I visited cafés, restaurants, and boulangeries nearby. Check Café Kitsune around the corner, brunch or breakfast at Santa Lyna, or walk to Restaurant La Marais. Also, there are nice parks nearby. The Arts et Métiers Métro station is around the corner and greatly connected. Overall: I am really happy I chose Hotel Au Coeur Des Arts Et Metiers. It's perfect. I will book again. PS: Solo women travelers, I found this area very chill day and night. The location is amazing. La Marais is a beautiful, vibrant and clean neighborhood.

Sound: The walls are thin, so you will hear neighbors, such as sneezing or hearing them shower, occasional thumping, especially during check in times. The street however is very quiet, which is great.

The Hotel is located very nicely. Places like Notre Dame, the Louvre and the Seine are reachable by foot. And a well connected Metro Station is right around the corner. The rooms are very clean and the receptionists and the staff overall is friendly all around the day.

The breakfast sadly wasn't worth the money in my opinion (but the times are chosen for everyone, wether long sleeper or early bird). To get an authentic French breakfast just chose one of the Brasseries or Boulangeries near the Hotel. And the walls are pretty thin which does not bother too much, and is nothing new in Paris.

This hotel is central to anywhere in the city. During my 3-day stay, i walked to almost everywhere. Right after dropping off my bags at the hotel, i headed staright towards Canal St. Martin. Very close are the Marais area, Les Halles. You can also walk to Jardin de Tuilleries, The Louvre and about anywhere. And the Les Enfants du Marche, the oldest covered outdoor market in Paris is a close walking distance. Perfect location. And don't ever miss the dramatic and one of the most "hard to get a table" restaurant right across the hotel, the Chez L'Ami Louis, if you feel like indulging in pricey escargot, foie gras and other classic french cuisines. Cafe Kitsune is also a few steps away from the hotel and La Favorite on Rue de Turbigo is an easy brasserie to go to for meals and drinks. Expect a basic hotel breakfast though, bread (croisssant and a slice of baguette), coffee, juices, some cheese choices, yoghurt and a single cereal offering. It's a fast, straightforward breakfast you can grab before heading out for the walk around the city. It's a pleasant hotel to stay at, the room and the entire hotel is clean and comfortable, the neighborhood is quiet.

Walls are thin that you can hear the neighbors through. On my first night i could hear all the foot noises and banging of the neighbors and as my room was directly right across the landing of the 2nd floor stairs, i could hear the traffic as well. I brought this to the attention of the staff the following morning and requested for a room transfer. the staff was understanding enough and offered to show me an alternative room to move in. I transferred and was able to sleep well through the night.

The Staff were super friendly and helpful especially Nabila. There was a chinese lady too very nice unfortunately, i can't remember her name. They supplied adapters and a kettle on request. The rooms were cleaned every day. We were allowed to use the kitchen to store food in the fridge and microwave it. The rooms were kept very clean.

The size of the room was too small for two.

The staff was superb! Each and every staff member was welcoming, friendly, yet professional, always willing to help. Kudos to all of them! What a fantastic team! The room was small, but I was expecting that, so there were no surprises there. The hotel is very close to shops, bars, restaurants, and subway stations, yet in a quiet street, where at night your sleep is not disrupted. I will happily stay here again in my future travels.

The location of this hotel is wonderful - super central but on a quiet street. What sets the hotel apart however is the staff, they are incredibly friendly and helpful which is not a given in Paris. I have stayed in many different hotels in Paris and this is by far the best.

The rooms are small but have everything you need and this is the norm for Paris.

We came to Paris and saw that unfortunately a different apartment we reserved was quite horrible in real life. Thankfully, Hotel Au Coeur Des Arts Et Metiers had one free room and we booked it and it saved our vacation. The hotel is exceptional since the location is awesome (Le Marais, a great district to be in), the staff is really friendly, the rooms are modern and comfortable and most of all very clean (which is important now that there are some bedbug scares in Paris - of course, there weren’t any bedbugs in this hotel).

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Amongst the best I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The rooms were spotlessly clean and new. The beds were comfortable and the linen and towels good quality. The breakfast, though simple, was very good value for money and just what we wanted It's a nice quiet location and close to a metro station. The are lots of cafes and restaurants around.

This is not a specific criticism of this hotel but the prices in Paris are outrageous. The basic rooms are tiny at just 10 sq.m and were uncomfortably small for us. Again standard in Paris. It's worth choosing the bigger rooms.

I met extra-friendly hosts at the reception who were helpful and supported a friendly conversation during check-in and check-out. Bed and pillows were perfect-balanced between softness and hardness so I could repair my energy after walking the whole day.

Unfortunately, the room looks a bit bigger in the photos. In reality, it feels like a well-designed wardrobe =)) But I understand that this is nowadays in Paris when you pay extra money to stay in La Maree in a tiny room with a wall view. But one problem that is struggling me a little — is the smell inside the bathroom. I suppose it was a ventilation issue. Nothing serious, but it made me close the door.
