We chose this hotel with my daughter, a first-year student of the Sorbonne, because of the excellent location next to the student residence and between the 2 university campuses - Malesherbe and Clignancourt. The staff was friendly and very helpful. excellent location close to metro, bus and tram stops. the room is clean, there is no fridge in the room, but you can use the hotel fridge.

Small family friendly hotel with a high standard of cleanliness and security. The welcome was outstanding as was the care and service of the management throughout the five days we were there. Excellent location-2 minute walk to metro and trams. More than adequate breakfast available for just a few euros. Situated in a nice but busy street - quiet from around 1900 hrs and throughout the night. Located amongst excellent cafes as well as fruit shops, artisan boulangeries, epiceries and general goods.

Nothing we could not have chosen better- really good value.

The room was quiet.comfortable bed. The duvet cover was thin so I wore very warm jumper and fleece gown to keep warm at night. Good location and nice places to eat lunch and dinner nearby. The staff were lovely and gave me free coffee. You also get a free map of Paris including metro station map. clean hotel. will come back to this hotel. Paris is very smoky as too many people smoke on the streets so be careful as I have asthma. Bring a fleece blanket with you to keep warm in bed.

I was a bit cold for one night night but I put extra fleece gown to keep warm for the rest of the nights. Paris has too much smoking on the streets and you can smell it so it got too much for me as I got breathing problems. Duvet cover is too thin as need thicker duvet as I get cold at night but I didnt ask for extra blanket. bring warm jumper for sleeping.

Location is just awesome with good connectivity by the public transport. Hospital, supermarket, restaurants, pharmacies are very close to the property. Taxis are also available, and can drop or pick up at the hotel gate. Staffs are very friendly and delightful. Every day the room and bathroom were made up and cleaned.

The room has an AC but unfortunately it was not working. By talking with the staff, I came to know that it starts working after mid of May. But as room is someone's personal space during their stay, it must be personalized and should be customized and controlled by the boarder in terms or AC. However, as we felt hot inside the room, we kept our window open most of the time. As a result the room became very dusty. In breakfast, they usually serve partially boiled egg, and it was not mentioned in the breakfast area. Such information could be helpful.

Everything was great

Well positioned as far as the local Metro is concerned - if you take the Rue Liebnitz exit the escalator comes out n the street directly opposite the hotel entrance - great after a long day walking round Paris!

As we had to leave v early on Monday am to catch our train home I asked for the bill to settle on Sunday. "Don`t worry, we can sort it on Monday" For some reason they hadn`t printed it, so I could not check before having to pay - it was probably OK but unnecessarily stressed few minutes as the taxi was waiting.

The room was small, but comfortable. Bed linen and towels were clean. Towels changed every day. Kettle and microwave are available on the ground floor and its possible to use them any time. The hotel is close to underground and its possible to get to sightsings in about 20-30 minutes. Close to the hotel there are many shops and cafes where you can buy all you need.

I really liked all staff. The room was cleaned well. The hotel location and amenities were good. Not perfect but good

The air conditioner was fine but could only go down to 19. If I could have even had it down another degree it would have made a world of difference. It's a bit warm to limit the air conditioner like that. Also I had an upgraded room but all of the rooms are the same

The guy on reception was so helpful, he really made us welcome and couldn't do enough for us. We had a minor issue with the safe, as when we changed the pin code, which had an 8 in it, the 8 stopped working and we couldn't open it. I went down to reception to tell him and he came to our room 5 minutes later to fix it. He explained about the city tax that we would have to pay and we received a number of messages from the hotel prior to arrival asking if we required transfers from the airport.

We didn't have breakfast at the hotel as only a continental breakfast is provided. I believe the chare for this is around 9€ so we went elsewhere for food. Bathroom could have been a little bigger, but not really a major issue.

If you travel in the last carriage of Metro 14 towards St Denis, when you get off at Porte de St-Ouen you take the nearest exit (to your right) up one escalator to street level and you are opposite the hotel! The family run ethos which is focused on efficient use of space providing comfort without wastage. For somewhere to sleep in comfort with an excellent continental breakfast I have not found better value anywhere. Thank you. PS. If I find this now always fully booked I may have to reword this! LOL

At his price point nothing to complain about. There could have been drink facilities in the room but why is this needed when you can always get a hot drink from reception. That said a small bar fridge in the room to keep drinks cold would have been a nice touch (it was 40 degrees) but not if it increased the price, so a somewhat unrealistic view perhaps.
