The location is perfect as the metro is within a minute walk so you can get around. The staff are really helpful and friendly, bed was comfy. I was asked whether I wanted a room facing the street or the courtyard. I wanted street facing but not too noisy so they put me on the 5th floor, nice outlook, it was still a bit noisy but you really can't expect quiet and affordable in Paris.

I had read lots of reviews so I was prepared for simple. I think only real downside was not having a fridge but I spent lots of time out and about so for me not a problem, mostly used the room for sleep.

Room very clean , unexpected surprise that they cleaned my room and bathroom properly every day , and changed the bedsheets daily as well. Loved that :-)

The fact that the room key didn't work outside well - actually it did not work so had to wake the night security up each time. No matter I think they were well prepared for it !! They also need to sort out the safe in the room - the safe did not work and the instructions given to me were for the more modern one which I did not have in my room.

The Source Hotel was a perfect place for us, clean, accessible, the staff is amazing they always give us tips about transportation and things to do around the hotel and the city. Since the reception until the people in the kitchen for breakfast are really good, the breakfast is amazing for the price, we as Americans eat breakfast early and now they don't, but their buffet is perfect, you can go out and do your activities without early hunger. Is a bus stop and metro a couple feet from the hotel very accesibles to connect with the whole city. If we have the opportunity to go again, this will be our hotel for sure. In picture's the room was a little bit bigger than reality, but it was still perfect for us, we know in Europe everything is very small and tight.

This hotel offers budget accommodation so don't expect luxuries, but the location is great. It's very close to the Metro station so getting everywhere is not a problem. We could buy the 3-day passes at the station. We were warned of a bed bug outbreak in Paris ahead of our stay, but everything was really clean and the room was serviced regularly so we always had clean towels. We were crazy enough to drive into Paris, and stopping on the opposite side of the busy road to download our luggage was a bit nerve wracking... Fortunately we had parking booked, so we could forget about the car for the duration of our stay and just use public transport. We ended up having breakfast at the hotel every morning as it was affordable and a good start to the day.

If you haven't been to Paris in recent times, be prepared to see lots of homeless people and this location isn't spared. It's busy outside and traffic is a nightmare (but I think that's true for all of Paris!).

We chose this hotel with my daughter, a first-year student of the Sorbonne, because of the excellent location next to the student residence and between the 2 university campuses - Malesherbe and Clignancourt. The staff was friendly and very helpful. excellent location close to metro, bus and tram stops. the room is clean, there is no fridge in the room, but you can use the hotel fridge.

Very helpfull and kind staff! Nice and clean accomodations. We had adjacent rooms which was nice, our 2person bed was a bit short and not wide which was fine for us, but can be tight if you're bigger and taller than us:-). We used the underground parking facility and could even leave it there for some extra hours after checking out. Metro Porte St.Ouen (line 13) is only 2 minutes away and a supermarket and several restaurants nearby (do try boulanger La Fameuse Tradition across the street!).

We had a nice stay for a few days. The parking space in the garage is perfect for smaller cars and it’s very safe. The hotel is just a few steps away from the metro station which brings you directly into the heart of Paris. The neighborhood is okay and we felt safe walking on the streets (even in the dark to the Moulin Rouge und further down to the Louvre). The hotel room is simple, the bathroom is quite new and the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast was also a good option to start the day. We would definitely come back and recommend this hotel to others.

The location, close to alll the atraction points. The view is amazing, the room was clean and bigger than another hotel we stayed, not the most modern furniture but clean, comfortable bed, i asked for an extra blanket and i received it but the most important was the gentlemen from the reception, Meziane, who was the symbol of kindness. I hope he finds in his way only persons like him! Definately, when we’ll return we”ll stay here again. I forgot to mention that the train station is literaly in front of the hotel.

Small family friendly hotel with a high standard of cleanliness and security. The welcome was outstanding as was the care and service of the management throughout the five days we were there. Excellent location-2 minute walk to metro and trams. More than adequate breakfast available for just a few euros. Situated in a nice but busy street - quiet from around 1900 hrs and throughout the night. Located amongst excellent cafes as well as fruit shops, artisan boulangeries, epiceries and general goods.

Nothing we could not have chosen better- really good value.

The room was quiet.comfortable bed. The duvet cover was thin so I wore very warm jumper and fleece gown to keep warm at night. Good location and nice places to eat lunch and dinner nearby. The staff were lovely and gave me free coffee. You also get a free map of Paris including metro station map. clean hotel. will come back to this hotel. Paris is very smoky as too many people smoke on the streets so be careful as I have asthma. Bring a fleece blanket with you to keep warm in bed.

I was a bit cold for one night night but I put extra fleece gown to keep warm for the rest of the nights. Paris has too much smoking on the streets and you can smell it so it got too much for me as I got breathing problems. Duvet cover is too thin as need thicker duvet as I get cold at night but I didnt ask for extra blanket. bring warm jumper for sleeping.
