Reception staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. The room, bed and bathroom all large and spacious. Bed and pillows very comfortable . The hotel is in a lovely old building and very nicely decorated. Good location. 15 minutes walk from the cathedral. Cheaper/fast breakfast option.

The parking is not for the faint hearted. Difficult to get in and out of and manoeuvre in and not practical if coming and going. You can easily be boxed in by another car. Would use hotel again but not the parking. Breakfast in a room with no natural light.

A really charming hotel with beautiful French features. The staff were friendly and attentive even though the hotel was small and they all had to do multiple roles. Our room was gorgeous and we loved the huge bathroom with a bath separate shower and twin sinks. The maid was friendly and did an excellent job of keeping our room clean and replenishing teabags water and towels daily. Loved having a kettle. Plenty of wardrobe space. As well as having a hairdryer in the bathroom there were plenty other sockets for other items so we could plug our straighteners in there too. The breakfast room is bright and sunny and the crockery was a very high standard and attention to detail was excellent. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. There is a lift which is great for taking cases up and down but stairs handy for daily use. As the hotel is only on 3 floors stairs aren’t a problem. There was no safe in our room but we felt our passports and belonging were safe regardless as the hotel is locked after 10pm - with a code for guests to get in if they arrive back later. It was nice and quiet and we slept very well especially as beds were comfy. But the location of the hotel was excellent as it is close to the centre and a short walk to the train station and If you turn left at the end of the street rather than right there is a handy little supermarket a couple of minutes away. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

A little disappointed that the pool was out of order. Would have liked to use it to relax after a long day of champagne tasting and sightseeing. Would like to suggest a small selection of snacks available either in the bar or to purchase via reception but understand it may be difficult in a small hotel.

the friendliness upon arrival and throughout the stay! a big thank you Eric and all the staff! the room had an electric water kettle and tea and coffee options. the hotel had a personal and unique Charme with wonderful antique furniture and tapestry on the walls and ceiling. it was cozy and elegant. the size for a small room and single occupancy was good. there was secure parking in the back of the property which was very convenient.

small negatives: it was lovely that there was a tub, but there was a ring around the water drain which had a stain. the water of the shower head sprayed far and not controlled. on the plus: the bath was in marble and generous in size.

I love everything about this place. From the moment I stepped in, everything was awesome until the moment I checked out. I will definitely return. It is whimsical, romantic and beautiful. Also, the breakfast service was lovely, each room had its own table set out in the breakfast area and the food and drinks are well-prepared. Everything was immaculate.

I think it would be nice to have a self-service coffee/tea making area in the lobby. Just a suggestion. Everything else is perfect to me from the rooms, decor, staff and service.

Lovely antique home with a grand oak staircase, and elevator, port cochere leading to secure parking, and rooms like jewel boxes. Even a pool is present on the premises. May I suggest requesting room 115 with its comfy king bed, custom upholstery, and great view? Full breakfast had a panoply of breads, charcuterie, and cheeses to choose from. Fresh fruit, orange juice and a perfectly cooked egg made it a feast. Staff befitting such a place were ready to assist. This all in walking distance of Reims cathedral in the lovely downtown with many a restaurant to chose from. Every effort to exude hospitality and welcome has been made.

I could find no fault

This is a lovely hotel with a superb staff. We were very comfortable and the breakfast was very nice. I have already recommended it to friends with physical issues. It was on a quiet street which was easy to find.

I cannot think of anything. Everyone and everything thing was a pleasure. We had called a cab to go to the train station; the owner of the hotel offered to take us which was so kind of him but we decided to take the cab because it was just pulling up. The driver was a pleasure to speak to.

Room was comfortable and we particularly appreciated that the aircon was switched on before our arrival, so the room was nice and cool when we arrived. And the air con was better than most hotels, as it was very controllable and kept the room at the correct temperature throughout our stay. The bathroom were good, with shower and bath. The towels also stuck out, as they were so luxurious. Staff when we arrived were very supportive and even guided us into the hotel car park, as the entrance is rather tight.

Location was easy to find & had on site parking (+15 euros) which was good as street was full every time we walked down it. Room was lovely with everything we needed. Staff v.helpful.

We only stayed one night & I had booked this knowing it had a swimming pool which was an attractive thought after a five hour drive. However, this was only available for an additional 20 euro payment I felt was far too much as the room itself was not cheap, so consequently we didn't use it - disappointing

Very warm welcome upon our arrival. also the hotel staff is very accommodating. Very good breakfast, nice ambiance. Very charming and friendly hotel, beautifully decorated, little walking distance from historic centre.

One has to book the indoor swimming pool upfront, and only for 1 hour max. at a rather high cost. Pool area is not so nice, little outdated and not suitable to have a relaxing afternoon at the pool. Little disappointing when it's very hot outdoors.
