The hotel is in a central location handy for the old city and eating/bar areas. I was upgraded to a room superior to the one I booked which was exceptionally quiet and spacious. I was made feel very welcome and would certainly go back

This is not a complaint as such as it doesn't actually relate to me as I have no problem with stairs, but I don't think that there is a lift and the reception is on the second floor which could cause problems with people with physical challenges - I could be wrong with this as there may be a provision made elsewhere in the building but would suggest checking with the hotel

We found the hotel staff to be extremely welcoming, kind and enthusiastic. They helped with requests that we had such as extra milk for my cup of tea :-) The bedroom was as we expected - good quality considering the price paid. The shower was hot and I appreciated the kettle and tea making facilities. The breakfast had a good choice - the kids were happy. The hotel is situated perfectly for walking to restaurants in the evening. Parking is secure and worth the fee.

The hotel is open about the fact that it can be noisy so we knew in advance. They provided ear plugs which we used for one night out of the two, as there was a party happening next door. The second night was calm. We realised afterwards that we should have shut the outside shutters for more sound insulation but we didn't notice them until we left.

Fantastic location, with easy parking right outside (free on Sunday when we arrived, more expensive in the week) - very helpful, friendly lady on reception who told us where to go that evening to see highlights of old centre, we followed her advice and had a great evening - recommend the bar with dancing by the Loire and the great restaurants around the old square

The reception and hotel were two floors up, not great if you have mobility issues. There were a few cobwebs in our room and some of the breakfast fruit had been hanging around a bit too long!

The staff was so welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was excellent and has a nice view and atmosphere. Room was clean and bed was super comfortable. I wish I could take their pillows home. Air conditioning worked perfect and easy to adjust. Black out curtains available. My luggage was delayed in Paris (nearby the hotel I could buy essentials and new clothes). It arrived a few days later while I was out and the staff received it for me and carried it up to my room (no elevator). That really helped! I've seen some people comment about the water. All showers were hot and totally fine! No complaints!

Very good location - between the old town and Rue Colbert. The hotel is a couple of minutes from old Tours, Staff were excellent. Though, in truth, I only met Stephanie. Good storage for my bicycle.

My room faced on to the place de république. Below me is a restaurant and people smoke outside and the smell drifts up. I know this is of concern to the hotel but hard to know what they can do. People shouldn’t be allowed to smoke in restaurants, even if on outside tables Also the square is a public road so you can get noisy traffic occasionally. Didn’t bother me too much.

Location - short 10 minute walk from train station, few minutes from main citycentre street. few minutes from Loire River. Old hotel well maintained with plenty of charm. Modern bathroom facilities. Appreciated the kettle and coffee/tea making facility.

We were in a small attic room so knew room would be small, but bathroom was very tiny. Very little room between shower and handbasin - this was also the space in front of toilet- so very cramped.

Location is great. Personnel super friendly. Very decent room. For this price, we will surely return.

Nothing really. For this price, it is very decent. Some remarks for next customers: The hotel is at the 2nd floor, no elevator, which was unexpected. The hot water takes a while to start, but during a heat wave it isnt that important. The airco was very convenient, but was fixed at 24 degrees, which is ok.

The young lady at the reception (the only member of the staff we met) was always exceptionally friendly, helpful and made everyone feel welcome with here positive attitude. With a bit of luck, you have free parking every night just in front of the hotel. The location is good. Everything is just a short walk away.

Even though the windows close well and the street has no traffic, you hear quite a lot of people testing the motors of their cars or just spend time shouting at each other until late at night.

The staff were lovely and very helpful. The room, while one of their smallest, was clean, had just enough space and everything we needed for a night, including a kettle, tea bags and mugs (not that common in France!). Breakfast was delicious and - helpfully- available from 7.15am. There was a good car park (Euro 20 / night).

The bathroom was quite a tight space and there was not room for a proper door, so it relied on a slightly flimsy sliding divider. Not an issue for 1 night however. The square we faced on to was somewhat noisy, it being a big party night. The hotel had thoughtfully provided ear plugs.

The room was small, but laid out well. It was modern, clean, quiet, and comfortable. The location is terrific, so close to so much. I'd definitely stay there again.

The only drawbacks were there was no soap or shampoo for the shower, and I let the water run for at least five minutes, but it never got warm.
