Centrally located near the station and an easy walking distance from the main attractions and restaurants. The breakfast was of a good standard but a bit expensive. The room was clean and basically appointed but suited our needs. Although parking was offered, there was no facility for this. However, there is an agreement with a parking station opposite for a 10 euro per day fee. The hotel is difficult to find as you cannot see it from the road, and will need to park the car first near the main station.

Had a bigger than average room viewing the square in front of the train station. The room met the expectations (size, cleanliness, facility). Hotel locatio optimal (10 minutes walk into old-town, directly across train station)

The wifi-signal wa very weak in my room. The main elevator (still) did not run (I was aware of this situation from previous critics). The ventillation shafts in bath and toilet opened to the square as well - with no sound barrier. It was a bit loud sometimes during night, especcially if you forget to close a door.

Beautifully restored hotel, excellent location, close to restaurants, shops and station. Very central. Reception staff friendly, efficient and knowledgeable especially Marlene. Beautiful decor, strong shower pressure. Loved it. Will definitely come back.

Only negative +and not really a negative was the barman didn't know how to make a non alcoholic cocktail and after discussion took a very long time to make it as we were the only people in the bar. However he did! Perhaps management need to look at this as a training issue.

Arrived later than intended at about 22.30 but reception was most welcoming. I appreciated very economical room service charges and the option of ordering breakfast to be taken in the room. In the event I did not use that option but was impressed with the breakfast room choice. Continental and English breakfast fare! Not something that many French hotels offer and therefore appreciated. To sum up, staff were friendly and helpful and I felt that the price paid was value for money. In addition proximity to the railway station was a bonus. Would I stay there again; definitely. I have stayed in Tours before but this hotel was a definite upgrade despite the minor critical comments I have made.

Comments regarding the furnishings made by another poster seem justified to some extent. The room I stayed in had dated furniture and the carpet was threadbare by the entrance. Yes, the bedding could have been more comfortable but there was an eiderdown in the wardrobe that I lay on the bed to provide extra warmth and, bearing in mind that it was November, I had a comfortable night's sleep. To sum up the hotel needs refurbishment but we have just passed through the worst aspects of a pandemic and economies have to be made; I can live with a few minor inconveniences.

Nice place with a nostalgic charm of past times. Large tasteful comfortable rooms (we stayed twice within 10 days) which combined old features with modern comfort. very clean. Good bedding. Tea & coffee making facilities in the room. EXCELLENT position right in the centre, just next to the beautiful station building. would recommend.

At first we were delighted to see the generously long breakfast hours, especially at the weekend. Breakfast on the first day - around 8:30 - was fantastic. The other two mornings we came a bit later and many things on the buffet had run out and couldn’t be replaced (eggs, cheese, baguette). That was 45 min before end of breakfast.

The decor and art deco feel of the hotel. We also benefitted from an upgrade, so our room size was good. The central location was good.

It was useful to have information about car parking but the name of the car park referred to had changed which made it a problem to find in busy traffic. The tap on the bath was wrongly fitted so was difficult to use.

Great staff, spacious rooms, lovely modern bathrooms and very comfortable beds and amazing breakfast!

We stayed in a family room with our children, 7 and 8, on the 5th floor. There was no safety catch on the window or guard rail and the sill was very low. We therefore couldn’t open the window and get any air into the room as it was unsafe for children.

The staff!! They were so lovely and considerate - made a special effort with our room for our anniversary- so kind ❤️!! The location amazing for seeing Loire Valley - hop skip and jump to the train. Definitely recommend, very reasonably priced too!! Rooms very large, comfortable beds. Thank you for memorable stay!!

This hotel is close to Tours Station, within walking distance of the whole town, we had an excellent room, it was very spacious and comfortable bed, very clean! The breakfast is also very good!

The African fellow on reception did not welcome us when we arrived!! The girl made up for it and she was excellent! well done to her!

perfect location just by the train station with underground car park across the road. very comfortable rooms/bed and a great breakfast to start the day, which also included gluten free options. book this hotel for 2 nights, but liked it so much that we stayed for a 3rd. great little bistro a few steps away called Dakota that seems to be open 7 days a week for all day food too. totally recommend to anyone planning to stay in Tours.
