Our host and hostess went above and beyond to help when we had a slight transportation issue. They were exceptional, and we felt like family from the moment we met. The chateau is beautifully located in a peaceful area. Lots of hiking available, and a winery or three close by. It's authentic and steeped in charm. The gardens are a wonderful place to relax and 'just be'. Breakfast was lovely and bountiful. Coffee ..very important...was perfect. A fine place to be . I wish we could have stayed longer than 2 nights, but the GR5 awaits.

We arrived at Château the Mesny after a long and warm walk. Our hosts Marie-Simone and Pascal made us feel at home immediately. They welcomed us into the beautiful garden of the château, where we had a delicious dinner. Marie-Simone and Pascal were really interested and we had a good talk about walking the GR5 and the beautiful landscapes of France. As all of the château our room was beautifully decorated. Breakfast was abundant and we were invited to make ourselves a sandwich and take whatever else we needed with us for lunch. Staying at the Château de Mesny is as if you are part of a fairy tale.

A very quiet night in this wonderful, manor-like castle. The room was very large, with original furniture and a view across the lush green garden. Breakfast was ample with fresh bread, croissants and delicacies from the area, served in our own breakfast room - splendid! This is not a "commercial" enterprise as is the case with many of these castles - the owners Marie-Simone and Pascal really go the extra mile to make their guests welcome. We felt more like friends visiting rather than tourists passing by. A great experience which we hope to repeat when we are in the area next time. Thanks very much for having us!

Breakfast was very good. The owners were very helpful and friendly.

All was good. There were even bullet holes in the wall from the Second World War. Very interesting history.

Pascal and Marie-Simone were absolutely delightful and gracious owners of this charming Chateau in the lovely Vic-Sur-Sielle. The room was wonderful, the garden was big and beautiful (home to a rare species of tree which Marie-Simone herself works to preserve), and the atmosphere was very considered. Anything we needed, Pascal and Marie-Simone were ready to provide. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer experience. We will gladly come back here, and recommend you pay these two and their Chateau a visit.

The boiled egg was not cooked, so a little more practice needed on the gadget egg cooker.

The owners were so welcoming and work hard to make guests comfortable in their beautiful chateau. The breakfast was excellent, we felt we were with friends.

Beautiful spacious room. Very welcoming hosts. Dinner seemed a bit pricey at first, but the food was delicious, the wine excellent and the company priceless. Thanks for 3 great evenings!

Château Mesny is a place I would like to return to for a couple of days just for the pleasure of being there. Its hosts offer a charming welcome to the perfectly upkept, lavish premises. Moreover, I would like to explore the area and its vicinity for its offerings: artists workshops, nature trails, history. And within easy reach there's an abundance of sites small and large, waiting to be discovered.
