The excellent and quiet location in the old town of Baden Baden directly across from the Friedrichsbad. My single room was a larger size and they gave me my room request on an upper floor. I appreciated that the hotel has an elevator. The breakfast buffet is in a well appointed room and the server brings a jug of coffee to your table. This is a nice touch as many places now have those self serve, push a button coffee machines. Fresh rolls, muesli, boiled eggs, sliced meats, tomatoes,cucumbers, yogurts, cheeses, juice are all on offer.

If you arrive after 6 pm you have to collect your keys at their other hotel which is the Hotel Lanterne, a 5 minute walk away.. This could have been better communicated to me as I had informed then my train was delayed. When I did collect my keys, one of their staff walked me back to the hotel.which was nice.

This hotel is literally right across the street from the Friedrichsbad Therme and two blocks from Caracalla. What they don't tell you is that you get a Baden-Baden Guest card which gives you discounts at the Thermes and other spots around the town. At first the check in lady wanted me to leave my bike downstairs, but I told her I was more comfortable leaving it in the room. She acquiesced and I was a much happier guest not having to worry about my $1000+ bike.

Fan was broken, but it wasn't that hot, so I didn't mind that much. Opened the window and let the cool breeze drift in! Beautiful night after taking in the Caracalla Therme.

Had to walk back to Laterne restaurant to check in as the building is not staffed at all after 5pm... ?? room was good, clean and in a lovely area of town. Also had a very good view of Friedrichsbad from my room The staff at the restaurant were friendly and welcoming for check in, but the staff at breakfast were quite inattentive. Breakfast was ok, small variety. coffee was really good. The restaurant next door 'MoMo Modern Bistro' was absolutely fantastic for dinner and the owners are so nice.

For the period I booked this hotel it was under reconstruction, that’s why I received message with free upgrade to other hotel, in the same area. They were very polite and wrote many messages to be sure that I received upgrade. After booking we walked next to the hotel and we saw its ultracentral location, just in front of Caracalla Therme. So I highly recommend this hotel as responsible host and very friendly staff in all chain of hotels and restaurants.

The communication was missing that Checkin counter Operators from 2pm-5pm and if guests arrive early then they need to pick it up from some other hotel owned by the same chain. Also info that if you are arriving late after 6pm Then you need to inform the hotel about it in order to keep the booking, was not communicated about. Above info were made to realization when I arrived at the hotel.

You can't beat the location, especially if you want to explore the old town and go swimming at either of the Thermal baths! Right beside the old bath, and just a one minute walk away from the Caracalla Therme! And then just down the road are all the food and shopping options! The room we got was a corner one that had a nice balcony too. It was spacious enough, and very clean. The breakfast was simple, but enough and a nice start to the day.

The bathroom was rather small. If you are a larger person, you will have a hard time with the bathroom. It was also a bit odd that the hotel was completely unmanned after a certain time. But they are helpful and nice when they're there.

That was written, that we can check in till 23:00. But when we arrived around 18:30 the hotel was closed and after I called the hotel they told that the check in in the hotel is till 17:00 and we have to come to another restaurant to check in. The thing is that I called the hotel at the same day to ask if we need extra corona test, I mentioned the arriving time and they didn’t say anything. And when I called after arrival the girl on the phone was really rude that it’s kind of my fault and I should have read the information properly. Couple of days before arriving they wrote in Booking app if we would come and I answered yes, and asked about corona test. No one answered me. Looks like the communication between the hotel and booking customers fails.

Excellent location! Right in front from one of the thermal bath and three minutes walk from the other. Full of restaurants around and very friendly personal.

There is no reception after 17:00 in the hotel. You have to pick the keys up in another hotel.

This was a very comfortable and quiet hotel to stay for a night in Baden-Baden. Amazing location, very comfortable rooms, helpful staff, and a great breakfast service. Would recommend!

A bit overpriced in our opinion, but otherwise we were very happy!
