comfort, hospitality of staff

Large and very clean room, very good beds. We had an apartment as we were traveling with our kids. This was large and very comfortable. Best hotel pillows I ever had! Personnel very friendly, positive and the whole atmosphere of in the hotel is just so nice. We were there for one night, on our way back from holiday. And we had the feeling that we would have liked to stay longer. Wonderful village, very nice views on the Black Forest. It was very warm weather so the airco was really nice to have. We could eat outside in the garden and the food was delicious and served with a smile.

Beautiful stay at a beautiful location with very friendly and super helpful staff. We arrived late in the evening after the kitchen had already closed. I was in contact with them before then. When we arrived, we could immediately sit down and had our preordered dinner served. The room was very spacious and comfortable and the shower was awesome. Even though we were just there as a stop-over, the surroundings made us want to have a walk before we continued our journey. I would definitely stay here again.

Rooms had plenty of space for our 6 and a dog! And Air conditioning for each room! We stayed during a heat wave, so this was a must. There was also water bottles available and everyone enjoyed their pillow chocolates! Breakfast was delicious! Everyone raved about the croissants!! They had a great variety of options. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. There was nice walking early morning. We only stayed one night, but it was such a pleasant stay.

Quaint, beautiful hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. I loved the beautiful flowers and decorations and the comfy rooms. I also loved having a restaurant in the building although we didn’t get a chance to eat a meal there. I was thrilled that they accepted dogs. Lots of beautiful hiking places nearby.

I was very satisfied with the property itself. It would have been nice to have a grocery store nearby. There was one within walking distance but it was about a 20 minute walk. There is a bakery nearby.

Very clean, great breakfast.(€12.50) pp. (Had sausages, breads cereals fruits, very adequate) Very quiet area.Bus 2 minute walk away. Biergarten in back. Staff very friendly and happy people. Bed super comfortable, had AC which was great. 13 min drive to Baden Baden. Free parking.Nice little town. Had real fridge in room, with icebox. I have medications that need to be kept cold. Having ice box meant I could freeze my ice pack before leaving. Big bathroom with tub.

The location of the hotel was set in a beautiful valley in the mountains. The hotel itself was lovely and the room was very spacious and clean. The staff were super helpful and it was close some some amazing hiking trails. The food was the best we had in the area and the decorate and attention to detail was very appreciated.

Due to the hotel's location, it is important to note that it is isolated and not close to the highway or any stores and services. The parking is limited so arrive early.

Good matresses and they even provide 2 different pillows (soft and firm), so definitely a plus for me. It seems like the also just renovated everything as well. Staff was very friendly and breakfast was good. In the neighbourhood you have a good restaurant and the only thing we were actually missing is some kind of bar nearby or a bar in the hotel as there is nothing much to do in the evenings overhere.

Quiet room with comfortable bed, great breakfast with good choice of dishes and generous quantities.

Slippery shower and shower somewhat high off the floor. With the stairs, the room we had would be better suited to young people if there is a choice but it was not a major inconvenience. A lower rating for staff is unfortunate but one member was a bit careless.
