I liked several aspects of the property, including: • Excellent Breakfast: The daily breakfast was well-prepared, with a variety of options served by a friendly and attentive team. • Exceptional Customer Service: The staff were welcoming, professional, and informative, especially the team on duty during our check-in on 11th January. • Cleanliness: The hotel was impeccably clean, creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay. • Ideal Location: Its central location made it convenient to explore Bamberg’s attractions and Old Town. • Friendly Atmosphere: The breakfast staff greeted us warmly every morning, enhancing the overall experience with their respectful and cheerful demeanor. Overall, the property felt well-maintained and thoughtfully managed, providing a memorable stay.

While the property was excellent overall, a few minor areas for improvement could include: • Limited Amenities: Certain modern conveniences, such as additional in-room facilities or updated furnishings, could enhance comfort. • Noise Levels: Depending on the time of day, the central location might result in occasional street noise, although this is typical for properties in historic areas. These were minor and didn’t detract from the overall positive experience.

We liked everything about Hotel Weierich, from it's great location in the heart of World Heritage city Bamberg to the fact that it is a family-owned and operated hotel with friendly and helpful staff, located in a lovely historic old building, to the exceptional breakfast buffet with a coffee machine that made all the specialty coffees. And to top it all off, our beautiful room had the BEST beds we've slept in so far on our trip! Thanks for a great two days in Bamberg!

There was nothing we didn't like.

Very good location - convenient to good restaurants and tourist attractions. To take photos of the old town, get up early (6am) when there are no people yet. Very good breakfast. Was there in July so we used a fan.

There was nothing negative about this hotel but I do my research before booking. The hotel is a reasonable walk from the central train station but some may consider a taxi. There were some good shops and pastry stores right outside.

Staff at this hotel is lovely. Very friendly. Breakfast was good and they kept it stocked. The actual hotel is neat- unique and fun. The breakfast area has such character. We really liked it and enjoyed our stay. Good location as well! You do have to walk from area parking garages, but it was very helpful that hotel staff sends a message with the area garages and how far of a walk for each. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it!

We had no troubles at all.

This property is located in the heart of Bamberg. most things are walkable. The only time we took the bus was to/from the main train station. It is a bit too far to walk w/our large backpacks. The bus picks up and drops off right in front of the hotel which was a huge plus. There is a great pedestrian path along the river for morning runs.

They did not have wash cloths for showering and just a hand soap dispenser in the shower. It worked since we were just there 2 nights, but it is hard to get clean after exercise or a long day with just some liquid handsoap on your hand.

Okay starting of with the best value is for sure the location. This is right in the middle of Bamberg old city center. Really lovely. Parking is okay I guess, with public parking cause it is really dense in those old centers :-D Loved the staff, so friendly and helpful. The bedroom was much nicer than expected for the little money we spend.

The bathroom was tiny and the shower strangely fitted with super slippery tiles. That's crazy dangerous after too many beers and the necessary night shower. Stay awake and take care please! The toilet seems to fit perfectly into the bathroom not counting for 2m people... haha but that's a tiny toll to pay!

This was our favourite hotel room (out of 10 places) on our trip. What a beautiful, historic place, great rooms, lots of interesting surprises and architectural features around the building, and all that in a fantastic location. We got upgraded to a large room with a huge bathroom and a bonus room! We LOVED the large room with high ceilings, two large windows looking out to the beautiful street/buildings of Bamberg. Wonderful breakfast, use of bikes, and other extras.

We loved it all and can't think of anything negative.

The location was so convenient! We walked all over old town and saw beautiful Christmas markets. There were drug stores and many other shops within walking distance also. Breakfast was included, with very generous hours, and the food was delicious. The hotel is beautiful, and the price was very reasonable.

This property is in the perfect location to explore the city. It was so quiet but in the middle of everything. We had a double room which was perfect. The hotel was the perfect mix of old and new. Breakfast was wonderful and we were grateful to have a lift!

Personally I dislike carpet in hotels, but the carpet was very clean, no smell and did not at all make me uncomfortable

It's the second time I stay at that hotel, the first time I had booked directly on their website so I could not make a review. I was very pleased with my first stay, I was with my little toddler and we had been upgraded to a suite. This time I had a normal one person room, that was quite comfortable. The lobby, entrance, breakfast area is very nice, with a cozy feeling. This time there were Xmas decorations and it felt just very welcoming. There is a little room under the stairs to leave the suitcases. The location could not be more central. The breakfast is good and the lady working there on that morning was very nice, you know, with a smile and greeting people.

Only downside is that they have these typical shapeless German pillows that really don't provide any support for the head.
