very well located, nice and comfortable furniture and decoration in the entrance and in the room, very clean

The staff at the reception was not very friendly, when I arrived (it was about 3 pm in the afternoon). I had the impression to disturb. Showed annoyance when I asked questions about WIFI access, especially when I made the effort to speak German and because nothing was indicated on the card-key given. Told me that everything was written on a document in the room. Which was true, indeed. Such an attitude is not pleasant when we come after a long trip. Welcome of the customer is key.

I booked two rooms at the same time at this hotel, which worked out great for our family. The hotel was located perfectly central to everything we wanted to see in Bamberg, and the underground parking was very convenient. Rooms were clean and felt newly remodeled. The breakfast buffet was nice, especially as one of our days was a holiday where many places were closed. The guy at check-in was super nice and helpful with everything that we needed!

The breakfast system was a bit confusing. One day we ordered a single breakfast rather than the full available buffet, and then it felt as if we were being monitored the whole time to make sure we weren't taking additional food.

Location is good, no frills accommodation, beds were comfortable.

Parking situation is a joke - they have parking at the hotel at 10euro a night, however, don't think to put the instructions for accessing it at the front door, so it's above the board with the keycards (not somewhere a logical person would think to look). We ended up parking at a much more expensive underground down the street. Photo included as proof. No reception in the afternoon - seems they finish around 2pm-ish, so I couldn't ask about parking either.

I loved the location - within walking distance from the train station, even with luggage, and within a couple of blocks from the Old Town (very pretty!) hence quiet. Restaurant next door. Room was "in the back", hence very quiet. Good size, with a desk and very quiet AC, good bathroom. Staff were very friendly, both reception desk and breakfast room.

Very bad WIFI connection, kept on getting "No Internet Connection", probably b/c my room was at the end of a hallway. Breakfast at 17.50 was a bit disappointing. To me, that's "top of the price range", but quality/diversity was not there.

The location is great! Close to the city center and old town, bus stops, the main bus station, markets, shopping points, restaurants, river bank, pharmacies, bakeries... Kind and helpful staff. Even their working time is not 24 hours, you can reach them by phone, they always try to resolve the issue and help. New things inside their rooms, clean, tidy, big rooms, comfortable bed, big toilet, big TV, great AC (air conditioning), two sofas which could be transformed into beds for two people. Walls are not tiny, construction of the building is great, sound isolation also, so we couldn't hear other guests or traffic from the main street. Nice view of the city from windows (the highest floor). Really perfect place! Also, we arrived earlier, before check in time, and we left in the afternoon, after check out time... but staff was so kind and provided some space for our luggage close to the reception. We didn't use breakfast service and parking, so we cannot comment that. As a recommendation and way to attract more guests, maybe it will be a good idea to provide some discounts or coupons/vouchers for longer stays or for guests who would like to come back again, since the prices are not very affordable and it is one of the expensive hotels in Bamberg.

I think there should be a wardrobe in the room, because few clothes hangers on small pole and few shelves (both on some metal/wooden open instalation) should be provided, there is enough space for that in the room. Happily, we had 6 our clothes hangers from home. For two persons or a family, also for a longer stay, this kind of "hotel closet" is simply not enough. Trash bins for rooms (not only for toilets) should be provided.

Breakfast was fresh, had a great variety and was plentiful.

Only a few spaces for parking that were used by guests and never seemed to be empty at any point during the day which meant they left the cars there all day which means other guests could not use the facility and had to pay double what the hotel parking rate was at a public car park this was the only inconvenience.

Modern hotel, close to train station. Easy walk to the old town. Breakfast was good with a lot of variety. Loved the tea making facilities and filtered water available in the kitchen area.

No reception for the whole weekend when we arrived. Check-in easy but it would have been nice to see someone for the two days.

Location was great. I'd say that the hotel was in the middle of the train station (about 10walking minutes) and the old part of the city. *I stayed in the comfort double room, and was spacious enough.* Although my room was facing the street, i cannot say that i had a problem with the noise.(bamberg is a small city) *The fact that someone wasn't 24/7 at the reception wasnt a big deal for me since you need a code at the entrance to get into the hotel. So i kinda was feeling more secure. I would definitely come back in this hotel.* Price was very good for this location and size of the room. *We wanted to have breakfast in some cafes in town so we didnt tried the one at the hotel. *Rooms were very clean. (Cleaning service comes every two days but you can always ask if you need something) *Staff responded quickly to my messages and were very kind. *Wifi connection was working very well.

As i mentioned above i would definitely come back in this hotel.* Just keep in mind that rooms dont have a fridge. *Maybe in bathroom some toiletries would be a nice touch. They had only some basic hand soap and shower gel.

Last minute deal gave us their biggest room for less than 100 Eur a night. Nice and stylish room, modern design. Very comfortable beds. Close to centre, and walking distance from station. Breakfast is well done with 3 different price options.

Nothing really, maybe the lack of reception staff after everyone checked in around 6? Coffee and tea in room would have been nice.

Good hotel in walking proximity to city center. It is located 10-15 minutes walk to center, but it protect from very noisy nightlife. AFter check in they sent us quite detailed explanation of check-in procedure and explanation how to enter their "short-term" parking - it may be used only for dropping laggage/check in and has different addreass then official hotel address (entrance to hotel yard is from side street - it si important for navigators). We arrived late, after entering hotel lobby we just picked up our keys from special key holder near reseption desk and went directly to the room - no any formalities. The hotel has own parking in the basement but it is impossible to book it in advance. When we arrived it was full. So we have parked Parkhaus Zentrum Süd which is big, located just 5 min walk from the hotel and cost 15 Eur/24h.

Before arrival we were informed by mail access code to enter main door. But we could not open the door with it when arrived. Fortunately other hotel guest exit the hotel and open the door. When I claimed next morning to the reception about that, they said that nobody elsy faced such problem - maybe I did something wrong or read instruction not attentive... After entering hotel lobby with access code you must pick up you keys from key holder. Hotel staff indicate room guest name on the keychain, but only first and last letters. I didn't understand it right away as I was very tired after long journey and spent some time looking for my keys. It is probably good solution for privacy matter, but better inform about that beforehand.
