The room was spacious with a wonderful view to the mountain, the hotel provided a nice Bavarian atmosphere. Breakfast was rich and tasty, staff was friendly. Bus station is close with numerous options for visiting the surroundings even if you are without a car (thanks to the 'Guest cards" free of charge').

In general - nothing essential. People with mobility issues should be advised that there are a lot of stairs since the hotel is composed of two buildings (older and newer) at different levels.

Everything was great about the hotel! The location, the property, the stuff, the beds and mattresses with pillows, the spectacular view from the balcony - we had a really good time! And the breakfast was good too, even though there are not too many options and no warm food. And the stuff let us leave our luggage in the hotel after our check out, which was a big relief for us. Also they gave us the city cards which allow to travel by buses nearby for free, even the bus to Königssee.

Quite old air conditioning system, it had not very pleasant smell. Also, due to the fact that the building is quite old, there was constant humidity, which slightly marred our stay at the hotel, although this is not very important. There was also a problem with the temperature of the water in the shower, for some reason there was constantly hotter water. A bit too pricey, but it might be the seasonal thing.

The location was nice and central, with nice view from some parts of the hotel. The room was spacious (junior suite). I liked the fact that the room had seperate wardrobe, big balcony and bedroom could be kind of seperated from the rest with curtains. Breakfast had some variety.

Furnitures were kind of old. I would like balconies with a view in the mountains, not so private hidden in the trees.

A very nice stay at this traditional hotel. The room was very big and with a balcony view over to the mountains. Close to the centre of Berchtesgaden with its numerous restaurants and bars and also easy access to local bus and train services. A beautiful location. Free local bus travel and discounts to some visitor attractions with guestcard provided by the hotel.

Perfect centra location in a wonderful town. Excellent breakfast each morning. Room was clean and spacious. Very friendly and helpful staff who helped us with practicing our german speaking skills. Easy access to Berghaus Salt Mine and Königssee and surrounding area.

Interesting decor, maybe a little dated but at the same time charming

very good location, across the hotel was the bus station, 5-10 mins walk to the Christmas market and zentrum, 15 mins walk to the main train station. good sized bedroom and bath with amazing mountain view. Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly and speaks English. Hotel gave us guest cards that can be used for buses and trains for free.

We loved the historic and vintage style of the hotel. The view from the rooms are splendid and you can see well over the mountains and town below. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Walking distance from all the parts we needed to go. The bus stop in front of the hotel reaches the train station, Königsee and the Jennerbahn. We made a fine choice staying here!

Perfect location for exploring Berchtesgaden and the surrounding area. Staff were all lovely and very helpful. Views were stunning- even on very overcast days.

You could say it needs a little update but overall the style suited the location. I would say the pillows are not good. But everything else was great!

Breakfast was good Room and view was good. people could smoke outside on the balcony but not in the room. Since there are no ceiling fans or air conditioning you need to leave the door open and if you are a non smoker your room fills up with smoke because of your neighbors.

I love how cozy the place is! And also you can have a really good view of the mountain just outside the hotel and from the window while having breakfast! The staff were really helpful, stored my luggage for me while I stroll around waiting for my check-in time and also gave me a free pass for local buses. So cool!

None. Everything is perfect. Wish I could have stayed longer but I am only there for a night. :/
