It's very simple, straight forward place - nothing fancy, just the basics. Beds were okay, bathroom was clean, internet connection stable and receptionist nice. Location is also good, there's a metro station, railway stop and multiple bus stops nearby.

No major negatives, just the fact that it's fairly spartan accommodation. Probably not the ideal place to take your girl on honeymoon, but just fine if you're visiting the city with bunch of friends. Considering I was there to do the latter and spent most of the time outside anyway, it was completely satisfactory.

I liked this hotel because it is classic traditional Berlin accommodation (19th century building with hotel on first floor, above shops/offices below) in an attractive and practical location. (KuDamm 2 mins walk in one direction; Savignyplatz S-Bahn station with trains to all the central A list sights 5 mins in the other.)The bedroom itself was spacious. You could actually open the windows!

It was disappointing that the lift wasn't working (out of the hotel's control; the building does not belong to them); and it was especially disappointing that staff shortages mean no breakfast is currently available (I LOVE German rolls with cheese, then jam for breakfast). The organic bakery immediately opposite was a convenient alternative, but they did not sell the bog standard round, white rolls that I like. My en suite shower room was very cramped.

clean, comfortable, simple room with high ceiling, so it is spacious i booked very early, so the price is very affordable considering its location ( close to zoo train station - 15 min walk)

the floors are wooden, it's nice however when somebody walks in the corridor, it becomes noisy. elevator was not working and my room was on the 3rd floor.

Excellent reception! Big room, clean bathroom. There was no late checkout but we could leave our bags with the receptionist until 3pm (12pm checkout). The area is nice, lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Keycard allows you to enter the building and room and functioned perfectly. Hotel was quiet. High ceilings, room let light in.

As everyone has already said, it's dated and could use a renovation. The fabrics and carpet caused allergies for one of us. There was no housekeeping for the 3 days we were there. There was no reception when we arrived at 12pm (2pm checkin) so we couldn't leave our bags to walk around while waiting. No fridge, no food or vending machine. Really bad mattresses and the pillows go completely flat so not adequate for side-sleepers.

The staff was amazingly friendly!! And I was given so many recommendations for bars, cafes, clubs and restaurants that one of the staff members love! The room was clean as well as the bathroom and the location is amazing :) I totally recommend this hotel and I will be staying here again!!

Very clean room and sanitary, very open and friendly at the reception, perfect location, loved the tree in front of my window. I will defenitly come back!

Well the matras was very very soft….and the entrance was painted in a weird gray, they could easily style it up because it is a great classic entrance. But that was my only complaint 😄 I really liked it there 🙏🏽

The location is so nice to take a trip and get stuffs near Department Store. The receptionist is so kind and checked well the near location and where to go.

It is unfortunate that on the room there were no Shampoo and Shower Gel as of the amenities.. I am not sure it is all the same to the room option what I booked. no Refrigerator neither.

The location and the size of the room, we were at the back and the huge windows opened and the breeze was lovely. I liked the ability to come and go and use it as a base, that was amazing

The building is lovely but it felt a bit dated and tired. The bathroom was very small and could do with an upgrade

Great neighbourhood. Old school kinda hotel, the elevator was vintage but in a nice way. Very spacious room. I was travelling on my own but the rooms were big enough to like accommodate three people. Close to all amenities. Highly recommended.

Breakfast was not provided but it is a fine old hotel in a very, very nice part of Berlin. There,are excellent cafes nearby. The hotel also Haa a shared large courtyard space. The nearby train station has very good connections.

For me the mattress was too hard
