Friendly and cool place, the staff is extremely relaxed and made me feel at home. The room is very tastefully decorated and has a personal touch . ( amazing wallpaper and art on the walls, old phone, vintage radio, great minibar) The bed was very comfortable . My request for a quiet room has been accommodated . I enjoyed the welcome drink, and loved having bikes available for a ride

Almost nothing to complain about . My room was facing a quite distant train truck so could hear it a bit at night as I sleep with the open window but it did not spoil my stay.

We did not have breakfast at the hotel. I read the reviews and there are several great breakfast places nearby.

Our room had a tiny toilet and a tiny shower room. These had glass doors, and no privacy...and the water from the shower ran out into the main room soaking my suitecase which I left 2 meters from the shower door... Ask for a room with a proper bathroom...We decided to upgrade to get this. Othervice the room was beautiful, but this fact was annoying, and I could see from the floor that this had happened many times before. We ended up paying extra and having a with a larger room than what we needed, and a big bath tub next to our bed, just to get a room with a serparate bathroom. By the way, this hotel is not a family hotel...the decorations, layout etc. My kids would wreck a room like the one we had. Wonderful staff, helpful and service minded.

June 2022 - The Sir Savigny Hotel has a great 'almost central' location in Berlin, and is very near to the Savignyplatz S Bahn station (you can get here directly in an hour on one train on the S9 Line from Berlin Brandenburg Airport). The area has a relaxed atmosphere and isn't crowded. The hotel staff were very welcoming, smart and helpful. Our room was fine space-wise, had comfortable beds, a good shower & air conditioning; and was quiet, even though it was over looking Kantstrasse. There is no nightclub or bar on site (unlike some other boutique or trendy Berlin hotels) . Price wise, it may be a nice balance between staying at either a grand hotel or a basic one depending on budget!

The Sir Savigny Hotel was great to stay in, however it could do with being a bit more competitive food wise. A lot of its clientele (including us) sought out the 'A Never Ending Love Story' breakfast & lunch cafe on Bleibtreustrasse for the morning. And we were disinclined to go to the on site 'The Butcher' burger restaurant as it only offered red meat funnily enough. Vegan, vegetarian or even other meat options weren't available there. The hotel most probably has done its research & thought this the best option. However, there is a good choice of restaurants (and pubs) nearby including those of Egyptian (Koshary Lux), Thai, Japanese, & Turkish cuisine; and there are a good number of vegan restaurants in Berlin as well.

The design of this hotel is exceptional! In reception, there are so many interesting little details to see. The attention to detail is perfect throughout - from bespoke headboards, to quirky art, to beautiful soaps and creative lighting! The rooms are stylish, comfortable, make great use of the space. We particularly liked the bar, which was stocked with decent sized bottles of booze, as opposed to minis. They're inviting you to come and have a good time! Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Milan in particular is great!

Reception was a little confusing - it's a big board room table, so upon entry you're not too sure where to go. Beds were very comfortable but too soft for us.

1) The staff were absolutely amazing, especially the girl who checked us in on Monday 29th April, around 3/4pm. She was there a few times during our stay and we didn’t get her name but she was lovely. However, all staff we encountered were lovely. 2) The finishing touches, ie. a welcome drink, eclectic furniture, a ‘press for taxi’ button in reception, the bar, the lounge, snacks in the room, mini bar… Amazing. 3) We enjoyed everything.

We didn’t dislike anything but only little nack was that there wasn’t an iron in the room. That said, we ask for one and it was brought to our room very promptly, along with an ironing board.

An absolutely beautiful hotel in a great location only 10 minutes walk away from the Zoologische and Tier Gartens. We stayed in one of the junior suites and it was so luxurious with a huge bed and bathtub. The toiletries provided in the room were obviously high quality and included everything you could possibly need - we needn't have brought any toiletries with us! There were also super comfy soft denim bath robes and slippers. Big windows looked over the courtyard garden which had a beautiful mural along one side. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Savignyplatz itself was a lovely location (a district for artists and intellectuals according to our tour guide!) with easy transport links via the S Bahn direct to and from the airport and across central Berlin. There are also loads of different electric bikes and scooters available to rent through apps very nearby and for the more brave, you can also rent cars and mopeds through the apps as well! We didn't eat in the hotel restaurant during our stay as there were so many interesting cafés and restaurants less than a five minute walk away. For vegans, I would definitely recommend 'a never ending love story' for breakfast and Vurst for dinner, both just off Kantstrasse.

There was a bit of dust missed by the cleaners and the radiator in the walk in shower needed some attention as the paint was peeling off and it had gone a bit rusty.

Great boutique hotel with interesting decor and nice public areas. Luxurious room with very comfy beds. Staff were great and the hotel's in an excellent location next to Savigny Platz, a beautiful square full of cafes & restaurants. There's a cafe in the foyer, which was closed for a couple of days due to staffing (Covid-related), an issue across the hospitality industry. Drinks were still served, and there are good places to sit and enjoy.

The room was a little small, but it didn't detract from our enjoyment of the hotel.

We couldn't recommend this hotel more. Exceptional value, very comfortable (we loved the pillows), large rooms, good showers, air conditioning (very welcome in 37°C heat!), quirky decor. Convenient location a 2-min walk from the Savignyplatz S-Bahn station - although the sound-proofing was so good that we couldn't hear any trains. Special thanks to Gine for her warm welcome and all her help and advice. We'll be back!

Free wi-fi didn't work very well. Luckily we had good mobile signal so this didn't matter too much.

Everything! The hotel's location, the staff's kindness, the decoration of the common areas and the rooms. The bed was extremely comfortable and all the amenities were great!

Hotel has a nice overall vibe, great lightning, design decisions. The restaurant downstairs is connected to the lobby which is cool. The Deluxe rooms were of normal size, enough for 2 people to comfortably move about. Good shower pressure. The shower / bath layout is different in different rooms, so do ask them about it.

Nothing.
