I received a lovely welcome and the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was unfussy and I liked the homemade jam. I was traveling with two dogs and the garden at the back was perfect for them to let off a bit of steam.

Totally understandable but the restaurant was closed on the night I stayed I didn’t have the energy to go and find food after a long drive .Not that it really mattered as I was soon fast asleep in a comfy bed

It is a hop in stay before we travel to Black Forest the next day. We were greeted excellently by the staff and most notably a very humble gentleman(forgot his name) who also cooked the dinner for us, which was delicious. The room was very comfortable. Hotels exterior is very beautiful. For EV vehicle owners, you have a supercharger in the hotel parking lot, which is super good.

Lovely warm welcome, convenient location from motorway, good evening meal in restaurant and great breakfast. Location is also a 20 minute drive down to Boppard which is a pretty town by the Rhine. I saw that others had been bothered by road noise on previous reviews and so there were earplugs thoughtfully provided along with usual toiletries! We weren’t bothered by traffic noise at all but it depends what you are used to I suppose.

This is our third visit to Tannenheim and we will likely visit again if we are in the area. The room was updated, immaculately clean and extremely comfortable. We had dinner at the restaurant, which was delicious as usual and of course the breakfast was super! While this hotel isn't down by the river in Boppard, the hospitality of the owners makes it worth the trip up the hill to stay there.

It's an additional train ride to Boppard that only leaves once an hour. This was detrimental to making our connecting train on time as we left and delayed our other morning by 45 minutes.

Good personal welcome, with clear information about hotel, dining, breakfast, etc. Excellent evening meal, with all items cooked individually and well presented. Helpful information about selecting wine. Great use of local produce.

Spacious, friendly, excellent breakfast. Dinner in hotel excellent. Staff work really hard to please.

Crisp clean sheets, rooms were spacious. Loved the very yummy breakfast and the hospitable owner. Would definitely be back if we’re in the neighbourhood. Perfect stop on our way to Italy.

Free parking, excellent dinner and breakfast, kind service (created an extra table when restaurant was full), nice garden, very close to highway: perfect for a layover
