The location was ideal for our purposes with close proximity to a tram route into the centre of Freiburg and the central train station, as well as a supermarket, drugstore and various nice cafes and restaurants was brilliant! Many nice restaurants in easy walking distance- have a look around if you come to stay! Very comfortable and modern setting.

It would have been nice to have a way of asking for housekeeping services or fresh bedding/towels e.g. a tag we can place on the door handle if wanted. Having some info available in the room would also have been great e.g. a map of local area/Freiburg city centre, plus some explanations of the services available in the adagio and how to access them, though the staff were very helpful for all questions! We asked for an early check out (around 5:30am) and there was a staff member available at that time, however they had very limited English, and couldn't get logged onto their computer/system, so we had to just leave our name/room number and leave without confirming our checkout. Thankfully we had paid for everything already, but if we hadn't this could have been very awkward!

Lenny at the front desk was amazing in helping us sort out a complicated travel problem. She didn’t know us and was very busy with the primary parts of her job, but she worked tirelessly all afternoon to solve a problem caused by the local Budget rental car manager. She understood how desperate we were to find a way to get our family of six to our next destination despite Budget refusing to honor our car reservation. She even called Budget to report the problem and seek a resolution. In the end, she found a way that we could travel safely despite not having the car we were promised. I hope there is some way you can commend her kindness and resourcefulness—smart and sympathetic equals a very valuable resource! She is truly one of a kind and our family will look forward to finding another Aparthotel because Lenny created or loyalty for us to Adagio of Freiburg.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room has an electric stove so you can cook by yourself. The view was nice. The location was good. A bit far to the city centre to walk every day (30 min) but it was easy to use the trams next to the hotel. A huge supermarket (Kaufland) across the street and in a clean and calm neighborhood.

I didn't sleep very well. The air conditioning goes off after a few hours. Which is quite normal in a hotel but it was very hot outside during our stay. We started sleeping with the air conditioning on but in the middle of the night it went off and it got quite hot in the room. The curtains also let a lot of light trough.

The design is really amazing, the hotel is fresh and everything is really cute. It was very nice to get a kettle in the room from the downstairs. We didn't take breakfast because there are a small kitchen and we enjoyed the morning time of making it on our own. The view was nice, place was quite, not far from the centre by tram. Really gorgeous dictrict!

First night there was a slight problem with toilet slush but it disappeared by itself, the blankets are really strange in general in Germany and here it was not an exception. Was not so comfortable to cover with it especially for 2 people. But all in all it didn't really spoil the stay.

Staff great especially the Receptionist when we first arrived, very helpful and welcoming. Tram stop just over the road from the hotel and nearby are restaurants and a supermarket plus only 10 minutes into the centre of lovely Freiburg. Room comfy, clean - bed could have been more comfortable but didn’t realise it was a pull-down bed to make a sofa until the 3rd day!

Thought the room was going to be a bit bigger compared to the photographs but still a good size. Smokers dominating the tables outside of the hotel, non smoking area be nice!

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The apartment was very space efficient with a comfy fold up bed, and lots of storage space. The air conditioning worked well. There were good curtains so the room was dark enough to sleep easily. The facilities were spotlessly clean. We would enjoy coming again.

It was on the outskirts of Freiburg, however it had good public transport links via tram to the centre and train station (this took about 15miin).

The studio was perfect for a one week stay. It's located in a very quiet and modern area, with a mall around the corner and lots of nice cafés and restaurants. It takes 20 minutes to walk to the city center and there are buses just nearby. The studio was clean and comfy. The kitchen is small but equipped to cook small meals. For me, the only thing missing was a kettle. The staff was nice and helpful. I would definitely come back!

Very clean and very clever setup of a room with kitchenette. We had a room with twin beds, where the couch was made into a bed. The mattress on the couch was very hard (harder than the one on the bed) and the pillows were pretty low quality (clumped up), but still comfortable enough for a very pleasant stay. The Strassenbahn stop to go downtown/main train station is a 4-5 minutes walk away, so the location is very convenient. Not too much around the hotel, a few restaurants, a supermarket and a pharmacy, but center city is just a few stops away..

We slept with our window open and were surprised by loud chatting/laughing (generally a good thing) throughout the night. Not sure where it was coming from but there were other guests annoyed by it as we heard them yell out their windows for those people to quiet down.

Good quiet room with comfortable beds. Clean bathroom with an excellent shower. It was easy to get to the city centre from the hotel using the No. 2 tram.

Reception staff tend to be 'glued' to the computer screen on the reception desk and not make eye contact with arriving guests. This has happened both times I've stayed at the Adagio. I recommend that staff have some refresher training on how to greet arriving guests. It's a small thing but it makes a big difference to how welcome you feel.

The aparthotel is quite new and so is the furnishings (difficult to find in Germany that is full of old hotels, not renovated for the last 20 years). Everything was in line with the description. Very friendly and helpful staff, big variety of products for breakfast. There is enough space to park outside and for free on the weekend.

Small disappointment was that along the coffee machine not a single coffee capsule was offered, and you needed to buy them at the reception for 1 EUR.
