It was a really nice hotel with large rooms and centrally located. There was parking in the rear of the hotel.

I would have liked the room to have a fan. Even with the windows open the first week of October the room got stuffy at night.

Loved the spacious and very clean rooms!!! Perfect space and bedding and bathroom facilities for a family of four. Easy walking distance from the train station. Foot traffic street with lots of shops and restaurants all within walking distance.

No air conditioning. Only fans in the rooms and windows that open. No secure luggage storage available as we arrived early and needed to leave luggage as we were headed to the Castles. When we returned from the castles our key was in a lock box as there was no one at the desk and our luggage was in our room. No problem but would have been ideal if they had a secure luggage storage option.

Location good for walking around the city for shopping, touring and eating. The rooms and bathrooms were CLEAN and nicely furnished. There was a great choice for breakfast. And the reception and cleaning staff were very polite and efficient!!! It helped make our stay in Fussen very memorable!!

The location was a little difficult to initially find the hotel on our arrival. But once the directions to parking was established… it was quite accessible… quite a different reception area than most American hotels but it works!!!

Very happy with our stay and welcome by the staff at reception. Rooms were very modern compare to our original expectations of the area being called Altstadt (old town). While building may be old construction, rooms were very much spacious and updated. Bedroom and bathroom were clean. Bathroom had good walk in shower. Plenty choices in breakfast and quality was good as well. Dining staff was very pleasent. What to watch for: We reached in the evening. This part of the town is very popular amongst the tourist (like us!) and lots of people walk around this area. Parking lot is at back of the hotel (Address to parking lot is different than main hotel address) and Google route takes you thru the heart of Alstadt, so for second we were worried if we were driving thru car free zone when we saw many people walking on the road. However, google directions were right and we reached to parking safely.

Everything. Lovely clean modern hotel fitted out to a high standard. Staff were without exception,friendly and helpful. Breakfast was varied with a good choice of good quality food. Excellent Location in the centre of Fussen is perfect, and the hotel is only a short 5 to 10 minute walk from the station.

Nothing really. Only observation would be that our room was very large and it would have benefited from a couple of comfortable chairs for watching tv instead of having to sit on the bed. The room was more than big enough and could easily accommodate them.

Amazing room, very spacious and comfortable! We arrived after the check-in time, and the hotel prepared everything to be in order for us, they prepared the room with the baby cot which we requested, and the room key and the parking instructions, which was very helpful. The breakfast was great, with plenty of healthy choices. We were very happy with the hotel and the service, definitely we will choose it again. Also, it has a great location, in the centre of the city and with private parking.

Room was large and super clean for a family of four. Beds very comfortable. Breakfast was well appointed with good variety of food. Address on Google maps gives you the front entrance to the hotel in old town but parking is in the back.

The room got hot with the windows closed (early July) with no air conditioning. It was ok when we opened them, but wife did not love opening the windows since they opened up onto a roof that people could easily access. Front desk closes at 8pm - we were lucky we arrived jus in time.

Fantastic location, friendly staff, very comfortable bed and lovely breakfast spread.

Room decor is bland. I arrived early and wasn’t able to check in, they said they would put my suitcase in the room when it was ready but they didn’t. I arrived back 6 hours later and my suitcase was still sitting in the public check in/reception area which was not secure and frequently unstaffed.

We arrived late so there was no reception; however the hotel manager notified us of where to park, access the key and our room number. Super easy and stress free! Our room was large, light and spotlessly clean. It faced the street, which is lovely. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The hotel has been renovated, and they’ve made a lovely job. High end! Heads up! They provide shower/shampoo mixed in the bathroom. Great for saving the planet, which I applaud; however, folks with longer hair, you may need to pack some shampoo and conditioner. My husband didn’t care, but his hair is very short. The staff was cheerful and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and be booked the hotel again for our return trip later this year. The hotel is in the center of town overlooking a lovely street. I would recommend this hotel to all.

The locale and private parking lot are such a plus with family travel. We could let our teenagers walk alone to get snacks and ice cream only steps away from the hotel. So nice to be able to walk to shops, restaurants and really immerse yourself into the local culture and community! So modern and clean and safe! love Hotel Fuessen!!!

nights are cool even with this European heat wave so fans and open windows were just the ticket! many hotels are not air conditioned so we loved this mountain town and the cool nights! as Americans we are spoiled with our preferences for air conditioning.. in Venice yes, we needed it but here- not so much
