I really really loved the view. I had a room at the top (artic) floor with balcony. I could see the forest and the mountains, the view was just exceptional! The location is a bit far from centre, what I mean that is around 17min walk from the main train station. From one side it is not that far, but from the other side when you have a suitcase and the street is full of paving stones and the road goes up and down, than the walk is not that pleasant.

No kettle, had to bring my own. Also would have liked to have more towels. Available was one small for feet, one small for hands and one medium for body. I would love to have one small for feet, one small for hands, one medium/large for hair and one large for body.

Nice hotel, where we had a one bedroom apartment. The room and the bathroom were perfectly clean, our bed was very convenient. Our kids slept in the living room on the sofa, it was also appropriate. But the best part was the breakfast with a rich selection. Everything was fresh, delicious and local. Staff was also very kind at the reception and in the restaurant. We received chocolate for Eastern as a gift, so our daughters were very happy! :) Surrounding was very calm and beautiful within 10-15 minutes walking distance from the city center, where there are nice shops and restaurants. Parking is free at the hotel parking.

However the description was clear, we realized only there that there was no fridge in the room and we arrived from an apartment, so we had lot of things requiring cooling. Then a lady at the reception solved our problem and put all our foods into their own fridge. Thank you for that!!! There is not enough wardrobe and packing space for 4 people.

Nice location within easy 10 min walk to the Altstadt Nicely appointed rooms. I thought I’d booked a Ferienwohnung but these are def hotel rooms - no kitchen facilities Large car park Close to castles of Hohenshwangau and Neuschwanstein Didn’t eat in restaurant, but it looked v pleasant

I’d have appreciated a few more amenities such as tea/coffee making facilities and an iron. We had a family apartment but only 2 glasses for a drink of water and half way through the stay a member of staff removed the 4th chair from the balcony which we had been using for additional space Firm beds but sofa bed fairly comfortable for kids. Lovely sauna facilities but we used them on a Sunday which wasn’t staffed, so missed out on some of the more interesting light rooms/ steam bath

A great hotel in beautiful setting. We were there over Christmas and joined in the traditional party hosted by the family who own/run the hotel, which was absolutely lovely. We were made to feel very welcome and the food was excellent. The double room was a good size and very comfortable.

It was a quiet and beautiful apartment. Up on the hill. We had 4 beds for the family. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

There was no kettle. It will be great of the hotel could provide simple amenities like coffee or tea and kettle to start the day.

The breakfast was great, and the location is spectacular. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We received exceptional and amicable attention from Brigitta, the reception manager. The area is just beautiful; the location is exceptional, a bit on the sides of Fussen but still at a walkable distance. We discovered a tinny lake behind the property, green parks around the Alatseestraße area, and other Zimmers that made it look fairytale-like. We are thinking to visit again soon.

The heat stopped working from around 12.00 am to 05:00 am, which was unexpected, not a significant issue, but a bit uncomfortable and disappointing.

I really enjoyed my one night here. It's just outside of historic Fussen with a traffic free easy walk into town. The staff were great, everyone was helpful and friendly. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I ate at the restaurant in the evening and there were interesting choices, and most things were well cooked and presented. Living in Italy I had missed good coffee, and this was the best coffee that I had all the time I was in Germany. It is roasted locally, and you can buy a packet at reception. Breakfast had a good range.

It is rather picky to criticise the restaurant for the evening meal as most of what was presented was of a good standard, but the fish main course that I choose was completely tasteless. It was also the most expensive meal that I had during my stay in Germany, Whilst I didn't travel with my dog on this occasion I did ask if they accepted dogs and they do, at the extortionate price of €15 per day!

I missed having a kettle in my room so I wouldn't have to depend on the staff.

A relaxing gem on a quiet street, with a pretty pond and willow tree. The breakfast is giant, the dinner comes with salad buffet. Classy place with large room, plenty of storage. I rented one of their excellent bicycles and took a tour of the flat bike trails around Füssen to the lakes and castles.

Clean, beautiful place, friendly staff, comfortable room, good breakfast

It would be great to have kettle and cups for tea in the room as the kitchen closes early and two days per week does not work after breakfast at all
