This is a wonderful family owned hotel that aims to please. Location is great with a short 10 minute walk to the center. Fantastic views of the Alps off the balcony, so nice to enjoy the occasional thunderstorm. Breakfast is absolutely delicious and drinks are available all day. The staff members are professional and extremely helpful. Andre’ owner of the hotel is so helpful and shares information of amazing things to see in the area. The hotel is a great value and kept very clean. We loved it and returned again on our way back through. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The staff was friendly. Especially enjoyed Rita and Andreas. They gave us excellent ideas of places to visit and eat. Breakfast was fantastic! Beautiful views and enjoyed our balcony outside. Liked how they had an area to sit and play games and a room with a drinks/coffee station for use in evening. They upgraded us to an apartment since we had booked for two weeks.

The struggle was real to get a clean washcloth. However, when we went to front desk, they did get us one. No fan or iron in room, like was listed on Booking site for room details.

We were moved to a spacious apartment with balcony (tho unfortunately that involved 2 flights of stairs we weren't expecting to climb). Breakfast was great. Free bus pass was nice. Bed was large, if a touch hard for our taste. Good wifi. Easy enough to walk to the center.

Parking was very tight, but street parking was an alternative. The unexpected move to an apartment was both plus and minus. I would have liked to be consulted first (we're dealing with knee issues and had looked forward to the elevator). Expensive, but then the whole area is.

Great option for a family with children. Spacious room with 4 sleeping places. 2 of them are folded almost invisibly into furniture. Very warm and welcoming atmosphere. At the check in the reception Rita gave us all necessary recommendations on where to go, where to eat, what to try, where to take the children etc. It was extremely helpful. Fresh orange juice for breakfast:)

The hotel was undergoing renovations, which slightly spoiled the view from the window. but we were warned in advance, so no problem.

I would highly recommend this hotel despite the construction work being undertaken (no inconvenience whatsoever). We arrived early and they let us check in straight away, this really helps when you are touring on motorbikes. This is a great hotel, with an excellent breakfast and this experience was enhanced with the special attention we received from ‘Scottish John’. He is a great advocate not only for the hotel, but also the surrounding area. He provided us with lots of recommendations of what to do in the local area, including where ‘Eddie the Eagle’ was filmed.

Clean room (Smarti double room) with an amazing mountain view from the balcony, very close to Hammersbacher Fußweg too! Included breakfast was amazing as well. The snack room was a nice surprise which comes with free to use coffee+juice machine and the beer/snack dispensers. There is a bustop right in front of the hotel for easy public transport access. Since we travelled via car, all the tourist hotspots and hiking places were just 10-15min away from the hotel. Would definitely stay here again

Nothing, everything was perfect!

Everything! The location was unbelievable. The value for what you get is incredible. Management contacted us before out stay to inform us that they're going through the renovation, which we didn't mind at all as all the facilities were open. Couldn't believe that saunas and steam room was free of charge. Breakfast was unbelievable, so much choice. On top of that they made an effort to congratulate my husband on his birthday (I didn't ask them, they looked at his date of birth at checking in). They had decorated the table for occasion. We found that so sweet. Definitely would stay there again if I'm ever in the area. Rooms are big, huge balconies.

The breakfast was incredible. A wide range of food, for meat-lovers and vegans, old and young, for those with a sweet tooth and those who rather have something salty in the morning. The rooms were old but comfortable. I slept very well. The secret kitchen in the room! <3 All our requests were met, we were able to stay on the first floor and next to my brother and his wife. There was free coffee! The staff was very friendly. I felt home. The price was very good.

In the future, maybe some new furniture could be considered.

Great staff, Andrea the owner was extremely helpful and gave us great ideas for activities and restaurants in the area. There are spectacular views of the mountains (Alps), a wonderful breakfast and just a short walk to the center. Very comfortable beds and furnishings! This area offers every type of recreation, shopping and cuisine. It is one of the most most beautiful places we have stayed in all of Europe! We will definitely stay again!
