Not too far from the understand station about 10min walk to hammer kirche. Also only 2-3 stops to central Hamburg. Food was well decorated and facilities in the Dulux double were very good. Nil oven in the kitchenette though. Very comfortable and fair size room, good size balcony.

Only 2 of each thing in the kitchen including cutlery which does not get cleaned or changed during your stay. Only 3 in 1 gel in the shower. No tooth brush or paste. Single duvets on a queen bed and no spare blanket in the room. Room was dusty. When opting in for the room to be cleaned, sheets were not changed only made the bed. Nil room service available.

Room large, bed large and comfortable, Kitchen OK. Bonus balcony. Loved hearing the carillon bells each hour and the 09:00 trumpeter from the impressive Störtebeker Haus round the corner from our room in the morning. Convenient buses from right outside and StadtRad hire bikes from near the small park at the end of the street.

1) Had to ask for quite a few missing items from the kitchen, (cleaning cloth, bowls, small sharp knife, toaster, coffee maker etc.), but these were supplied by your staff. 2) Not that Green: There were no facilities to sort recycling in the kitchen - just one bin for everything. We didn't find the sign to skip cleaning the room until after a few days. 3) The room got too hot and, especially with the window open to try to keep it cool, VERY NOISY FROM 06:00 each morning.

The hotel has its own reception, where the people were kind and helpful. We did not use the breakfast at the hotel, we had booked a room with its own kitchen. The kitchen was very well equipped (stove, microwave, fridge, kettle, dishes). There are two public transport bus stops right next to the hotel, which have very good connections on the U and S Bahn to the center and to the port. You can also walk to the nearest U Bahn stop, it's about a 15-minute walk. The hotel has its own parking space (for a fee), which is convenient for those arriving by car.

I have reservations about the too soft mattress in the bed. But that is very individual. There are warehouses and industrial plants around the hotel, be prepared for the area to be a bit noisier on weekdays. But it was bearable.

Really nicely appointed rooms and lovely balcony. Reception and housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful. We did not check out much of the nearby location so can't comment on the area. Parking was easy and wifi was excellent. The room was a good size and spotlessly clean. Housekeeping knocked on the door the days after our check in just to ensure we had enough coffee etc (most places will ignore you completely unless you specifically ask to have your room made up so this bit of thoughtfulness was a pleasant surprise)

Not sure if the restaurant is run by the hotel or just sublet but very disappointing and a stark contrast to the hotel staff. The food was as if it had been taken from a supermarket frozen dinner and microwaved. The waiter (who appeared to be on his own) was quite unpleasant with us and gave us the impression we were wasting his time (he was much more friendly with other patrons) and when we got a bit confused with our room number (it wasn't on our room swipe card), it felt like he thought we were trying to stiff him on the meal. I would recommend you stay at the hotel but explore other options for dinner.

The room was amazing and the facilities were great! The staff was available and helped out a lot. The area was quite and had a nice view on the city! Overall, it was a great stay!

The location it's quite out of the city centre but there is shops and fast foods nearby so I didn't mind it. There was no instant coffee or teabags which I would personally enjoy finding in te rooms. Overall it was a great stay!

The room was very well organized and clean. Plus it had a warm feeling, so we felt really comfortable there. (2 adults and a small baby.) The check in and check out process was really easy and quick. Especially because if you book online, you don't even need to speak to a human being. They have a machine which scans the QR-code you get after booking a room and there is a stack of cards. You pick one of them and you can pair your reservation and room number to that card. Later on you use that card during your stay to open your room. They even have a closed parking area outside and inside (deep garage). For that you have to pay some extra money but it is convenient. They have a cafeteria where we had a breakfast. The food is nothing extraordinary, but fresh and decent. Which we liked that they even had a special feeding chair for our baby. The staff was friendly. If we have to stay at Hamburg for night, we definitely go back there. It was worth the price.

I can't really say anything bad for the price because I think it was totally worth it.

Location - we knew it was not in the center of hamburg, but we found going anywhere very easy with the buses. 112 in particular very useful. Comes 10 mins in peak times 20 at more off peak times. Very punctual. 20 minutes into town. 9am group day passes made it very reasonable to travel around. Size - very big room. Fridge and kettle - great. Our room was not modern but we liked it! The hotel bar was nice and reasonable. Cash or room tab (no card). There is nothing much around the hotel, small convenience store with not long hours but we got a few bits then did a shop in center and took it back on the bus. We arrived late to the hotel in the evening and no restaurants around but there was plenty of takeaway options on Uber eats fyi. The hotel also has a restaurant should you opt for that.

Renovations are going on at the hotel - we were not told during or since booking, we learnt when going up in the lift. This was disappointing. The hotel didn't appear full, so I don't know if it would have been possible to have put us in a hotel room not so near the work being done. Extremely extremely loud, where you are almost unable to think and definitely not hear anything else Monday and Tuesday morning from 10 am. Felt like it was directly above us being drilled. It would have been nice to be warned, and may be a small gesture of goodwill would have gone a long way. Or offer to move us even if a different type of room.

The location is really good as there is a bus directly to central station, but it was kinda far from any supermarket - supermarket is reachable by bus but there was so much road works so the bus is unreliable. The reception is really nice and helpful. We were travelling with a < 1 year old, didn‘t ask for baby bed because my baby doesn‘t like sleeping alone but when we arrived there was already a baby bed being made - super thoughtful! I could also print documents for free right at the reception.

Some of the pots doesn‘t look that clean. It would be nice if we were provided home shoes.

Our stay was comfortable and hassle-free. The hotel is not brand new and while the rooms and furniture showed a bit of wear, the rooms were quite spacious and very clean. The staff was friendly and kind and made check-in and check-out a breeze. The hotel's location wasn't ideal for tourists wanting to walk to the city center, but with bus stops right outside and nearby reaching the center was relatively quick. Overall, excellent value for money.

Some renovation and maintenance is needed but this did not bother us at all, we had pleasant stay.

What I enjoyed the most was the apartment and its view from the room,a massive building named after the national hero Störtebeker. Comfortable,modern and with a simple, semi detached kitchen that allows you to prepare your own breakfast.

Downside is there is nothing around,no place to have a drink except an Indian takeaway and a bäckerei.Your everyday exploring the city depends on two buses which run every 20 minutes. Much of a nuisance,especially when the whole city is upside down due to roadwork.
