Very well located on a plaza near Hamburg Central Station. The plaza adjoined a 3-block “Restaurant Street” with all manner of cuisines available. Hotel owner and staff were exceptionally helpful and interesting. Room was quite large, fully rehabbed, totally clean. 14 foot high ceilings gave spacious feeling throughout. (I saw only my room, but ‘room map’ indicated that all room were fairly spacious.) It was an elevator building, always welcomed by travelers with luggage. Room electronics set-up was fine. Strong Wi-Fi, Many plugs well spaced in the room, including next to bed. Sizable desk in room (which I had requested). Large bathtub was especially welcome for this weary business traveler. Final bonus for business traveler: 1/2 block away was a small local but full service print shop.

The contactless check in process worked great and I was glad about it because my train arrived two hours late and I got to the hotel shortly before midnight. It is an updated old property, but nicely appointed and pleasant. The bed was not the most comfortable, but certainly not the worst by a long shot. Very convenient to the train station with great access to the activities I had planned. Would definitely stay there again. The only really odd thing was I had to wait until after 9 am to pay the city hotel tax at the reception desk. Reception is an office with a curtained door and I had to poke around to find the person to meet to pay the tax. Other that that, no hitches at all. Great stay, nice place, perfect for traveling alone.

As above, finding someone to pay the hotel tax to, more comfortable bed. No other problems or concerns. I was very happy with the stay.

I loved this hotel, the rooms are amazingly big, they are clean and super nice decorated. We did the contact less check in, we just picked up our keys from the box and entered directly. They received us 2 hours early than the check in and also they did an upgrade to a better and bigger room. The location is amazing, it is 1 block away from the Hamburg HB, so we could go directly into our early train without problems on the logistics. Inside the HB you will find places to eat really late, so this is a plus too. And you have 2 blocks more the main street where you buy clothes and all. The beds are super comfortable and it was a nice temperature inside.

When I read the comments about this hotel I was really worried but I had ZERO problems with it. It is clean, the rooms are a little old but perfectly functional and nice decorated. There is someone cleaning everyday and asks you if you want the room cleaned. If you want you can ask for towels. I did not see a drunk outside, maybe because it was cold but still, I never felt unsafe or in danger. There was just normal people returning home.

Fritz the owner was an amazing host! He told me all about the places to go in Hamburg in downtown. Also the location of the hotel is awesome because it's right in the heart of Hamburg and only a few blocks away from the main trainstation.

I liked the place, is it the most lavish, no, is it affordable, yes. Is it located in a good area, absolutely, right across the street is 3 restaurants and a grocery store, also if you go during the holidays they have a small Christmas market next to it. Great place overall!

Comfortable bed and quiet environment. People where respectful with common rooms. Good location as it was in walking distance from main train station. Also every day someone was picking up the trash and was tidying up the bed. Overall good experience.

The communication was a little slow in the start but they helped me eventually when I arrived at the door.

Very nice Hotel Location ist very good ,close to central station and alot of Restaurants and everything is easy to reach it in few minutes. Mr Fritz the Reception was very nice and I got the Room early around 11 Clock and he helped me with all the important Information as well. Only that the Preis was little high as I paid 171 for 2 days and for this price was also some other 4 star including breakfast but all in all was good experience I come back to this hotel again 😌 Thanks for the good Service 🙏 🙏 Room 11

The Hotel in the near of Everything from Alster -Udo Lindenburg residents, Nostalgic reminiscent of my Younger days in Hamburg spoke to the owner told him not to change a thing leave as is, Vintage, I loved it 🥰 very friendly and good tips we will definitely be back with bigger group

We were in a family room with toilet and bathroom. But no measures were used to prevent noise disorders from other room users. For instance a man was singing loud early hours in the morning around 2:30 am.

It was loud,voice was cracked,he was enjoying his song but it was a disturbance to others sleeping. There should be a clear regulated rules to protect quite users from loud users of the hotel.!!

- amazing location: 3 mins to Hamburg Hbf - pleasant stuff: my room has been upgraded to a bigger one with a really nice view! - very clean: bathroom, linen, floor — everything is nice and shining - cheap - automatic check in and out: it was convenient for us because we had to arrive late and depart early

We had a great stay at bee fang and enjoyed the helpful staff, the nice naighborhood and the great room for the price. I would definitely consider staying here again.

They could be a little bit better at removing spider webs and clean under the bed. It cost 1 euro an hour pr person to store your bagage after check out which is way to expensive. This should in my opinion be free the day you check out.
