Fantastic location, spacious rooms, well maintained building and facilities, very helpful front desk staff, delicious breakfast (don’t miss the eggs royal), all in all a fantastic stay!

The hotel is a show, beautifully apointed, spacious, well-trained staff and the location is central to anyone who wants to visit Hamburg. I didn't get a chance to use all the faciliteis while I was there, but I expect the health club and pool are also amazing.

The fact that there is no food availble after 11pm is a real issue for anyone arriving on later flights. This is a frequent issue when travelling through Germany and I would hope to see more hotels implement a night menu with some sandwiches, soups and cold cuts.

What a great place to stay! Everything was just amazing from arrival to departure: staff was extremely friendly, from the concierge to the reception to the cleaning staff and restaurant (breakfast) and bar staff, couldn’t fault any of it. An hour before planned check out I enquired for a late check out due to a late evening flight and we were able to stay an additional hour which was really appreciated after the amazing breakfast. The swimming pool and sauna were lovely and the location is stunning, right by the Alster and close to lots of Hamburg attractions. Thanks to everyone at the Atlantic for making our stay exceptional. We’ll be back again!

Our stay at the Atlantic was an unexpected pleasure! The location was great, the staff went above and beyond to assist in any way possible, and the breakfast was superb! The view from the breakfast area was lovely and was a beautiful way to start each day. Our room was spacious, and we had a fabulous view out over the lake. We could walk along the lake as well, since the path was directly across the street. We walked everywhere, since we had no car, and the location was perfect. The staff, both at the front desk and at breakfast were helpful and personable. Thank you!

The location is beautiful, you can just walk in any direction and enjoy the city. The staff were wonderful. We had valet parking, and they were also super helpful with our luggage, and later when we realized we had forgotten something in the car it was no problem for them to help us retrieve it. The bar staff in the lobby lounge bar were great, and so were the drinks. We ate at Atlantic Grill & Health. Lovely meal, and super service. The room was fantastic, and the bed, the pillows, the duvet covers, it was amazingly comfortable 😊

I booked a taxi from the room to the reception. But the reservation was not made. Forgotten. I booked a taxi at the reception at 5 pm. I called the reception and changed the reservation at 5:30 by phone to the reception. But that change order did not made and the taxi came at 5 pm as originally booked and gone. I needed to book again and lost 20 minutes. Something wrong as that happened twice. Need coordination among staff.

Really nice beautiful hotel. Rooms are large, the location is good, comfy beds, and everything was clean but in our stay, Atlantic Hotel highly excelled on friendly and helpful staff. From the cleaning staff to the people working at the front desk, I'd like to thank all of you (especially Mats Westen who really worked hard to solve a confusing issue about our trip). You people make a hotel feel like home.

We stayed for 2 nights (Fri-Sun). Our room faced the courtyard, but a great view. The room met all my expectations even more, many small details you would tell a friend about. It really sets itself above and beyond many classy hotels. We enjoyed spending time in the bar in the lobby, there were extra touches to appreciated. Unfortunately the sauna did not work when we visited. Breakfast was fantastic. I would rate the hotel as expensive, however it delivered and was worth it. I would come back again

Loved the size of the rooms and facilities in the room were excellent. The pool area was beautiful and spacious with excellent change rooms. We were very impressed with the service and extra treats supplied when we had drinks in the foyer

As a couple that had been travelling for a long time i would have liked to be able to have access to laundry facilities that i could use myself. Other options were quite expensive.

The staff were amazing. The hotel felt warm and welcoming which is not always the case with hotels of this level. The decor is classic yet modern, the design has stayed true to the history of the building. The rooms are large and very quiet, everything was provided we needed, including a yoga mat!

The price of breakfast is crazy! If you only want coffee and a snack it makes no sense. The price stopped us from eating at the hotel all together as there are many great cafés and restaurants nearby. When we did have a coffee in the bar it wasn’t good.
