The staff were super friendly and helpful, always with a smile and ready to help. What worries me is that they were there for maany hours, day after day, which makes me wonder if they are paid enough/get enough rest time :S

It's not close to the city centre, but there is a bus stop nearby which will take you to the main train station in 15 minutes. The lower price compensates this :) Rooms are not refreshed until 3 nights in the hotel, supposedly under sustainability reasons. I understand (and support) not washing the towels or changing the bed sheets daily, but some quick cleaning before 3 nights would have been appreciated. The room was clean when we arrived.

Property was well located close to the train station and the Speicherstadt! We also had few bike stations. The room was nice and sufficient for our weekend trip. We had free tea and coffee in the nice spacious lobby which is also open in the evening for drinks.

There was not enough storage for our clothes. The cleaning staff couldn’t clean when they came on Saturday in the morning as we were still in the room but then they didn’t enter the neither later during the day.

The room has a nice design and comfy beds. The hotel is close to the public transport and it takes around 10 minutes to get to the city center

The check in process is extremely inefficient and slow, the waiting time was at least 25-30 minutes and the queue was flowing even outside the lobby through the door into the street. I've later noticed they seem to have self check in machines, but nobody was using them because they're kinda isolated and hidden. Also it's impossible to know they exist until after you check in because of the huge queue and a lot of people (you can't see it through the crowd) My advice to the hotel is to advertise the self check-in better, put some stickers on the door, mention it in the email, or even better - invest into new technology and offer mobile check in.

Room is great, clean and comfortable. Location was OK, still have to walk to metro stations around 1km.

On the checkout day, cleaning service tried to enter the room 3 times, starting from 10AM.

Short term stays great. Hotel good for many young people. Shut your window if you have railway station view to get a quieter sleep. I would you this Hotel again, on balance, at a similar price

I hated the online booking in system, it was so slow and not accurate for all passports, it had troubles recognising my Aust. passport number and what I registered was an incomplete number and so much time was wasted too book-in. I prefer to deal with a person at the reception as I don't know you computer system operations for date entry. I'm a kind of guy, here's my booking document (on cellphone also) and passport, can we go to the room now or not?

Excellent Breakfast Selection at Prize by Radisson, Hamburg City I recently stayed at Prize by Radisson, Hamburg City for a work trip, and the breakfast exceeded my expectations. The selection was impressive, with a wide variety of options to suit different dietary needs, including non-pork choices and plenty of hot and cold dishes. The eggs were perfectly cooked, and there was an array of fresh items that made the meal satisfying and enjoyable. The breakfast spread was consistently replenished, with items like croissants and other pastries available throughout the service. I especially appreciated the addition of cheese and other thoughtful selections, which added variety to the meal. As someone who stays in hotels monthly for work, I can confidently say this breakfast was one of the best I've had and a fantastic start to my day. Based on this experience, I would absolutely book here again.

We had a moderately sized clean, quiet and modern room with an equally clean and well equipped bathroom (except for a cup for the toothbrush). Breakfast was good with lots of fresh fruit, dairy, bread and sweet and savoury extras. Coffee and tea choices were also good.

The juices on offer for breakfast were a bit of a disappointment - no "real" fruit juice, but rather sugary mixtures. Although the main station is in walking distance, the city center is quite a walk from the hotel. In addition there was a lot of construction going on in front of the hotel which made it hard to reach by any means of transport.

The room was not so big but comfortable. The bed was great and I slept well. Normally I always have difficulty sleeping in other places. There is no coffeemaker in the room, but in the hall you can always make coffee or tea for free. A bus stop is in front of the hotel and it goes to the city center. If you like to walk, the hotel is 30 min away from the center.

I made an upgrade to have a better room and it should be with a speaker, but it was broken. I told the reception to replace it or to repair it, but they didn't do it. Not a big deal, but if I pay more, I would appreciate having what I paid for.

I was given a room on a high floor and it was very quiet, the breakfast was lovely with a good selection and everything I had was tasty and at the right temperature. I particularly enjoyed the yogurt selections. It was also great to have good quality hot drinks available at all times from machines, the hot chocolates and speciality coffees were an unexpected bonus.

When I did go for breakfast there was no fresh bread and this was not topped up while I ate. Also the carpet in the bedroom is in need of replacing as was showing signs of wear and ground in stains, but not dirty because of a lack of cleaning I must add. It is also a bit of a walk from the station and city centre and due to current roadworks taking place all around the hotel there are parts of the walk which are uneven and a bit muddy, which can be a problem with wheelie luggage, whilst I did not mind this, do bear this in mind until the works are complete.

Rebooked at last minute due to very good price for two people. Staff available at all hours and helpful, and hotel is flexible for extending stays. Great areas to work in during the day with coffee and tea available (after breakfast) and easy access to city centre Hamburg with a very central location (i.e. 10-15 minutes from central station).

Charge for breakfast included is relatively pricey and current construction work makes it sometimes difficult to navigate on foot and by car.
