It is so nice to stay in a hotel that is not decorated like EVERY other hotel. Everywhere you looked in the building there was something interesting. It is super hipster so if that's not your vibe then maybe don't stay here but I loved it. The breakfast was absolutely incredible. I wasn't planning on having breakfast the last day because I had to catch a flight but I woke up earlier so I could have the breakfast before leaving. Convenient location to move around, there are buses and the s-bahn very nearby as well as some really good restaurants.

Like with most German hotels... there is not kettle in the room. Also no mini-fridge or ironing facilities in the room. These are not necessary but would have been nice.

Friendly service at the counter, easy check-in, clean and comfortable rooms (very spacious!), comfortable bed, many accessible plug points for charging devices, fancy interior decorations (restaurant, corridor, walkways).

The toilet and bath are separated. Preferred a sink next to the toilet. It would have been nice if the option for free cancellation was offered until the day before travel date to give more flexibility (due to unplanned circumstances, we almost could not make the trip and was not able to cancel/modify booking at last minute). Anyhow, glad that we made it and had enjoyed the stay.

The accommodation was fun & quirky, both the reception and hotel room. The room was clean and comfortable, also quiet, which was good. We did not have breakfast but I did take a look and it was self service 'more continental' The restaurant looked inviting and comfortable. The little chocolate santa left outside each bedroom door was a nice touch.

It was a shame there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, as that was much needed, when I attempted to purchase a coffee in the breakfast area/restaurant, there was no one around to serve.

The room is well equipped with lights, USB chargers and power sockets. The power of the water in the showere was excellent. The beds were clean and comfortable. It is very easy to be quickly in the city. The breakfast is the best I have ever experienced in a hotel.

It was very hot in the city. It would have been great if there was air conditioning in the room. I am certain for 360 days of the year the room has a really pleasant temperature.

The room was lovely, clean and spacious and the hotel had a great vibe to it. The staff were really helpful and we could tell that lots of things about the hotel had really been thought through. When we stayed there was live music on the roof terrace which was a nice touch. The area isn’t central but it’s in a nice neighbourhood within easy reach of the S-Bahn so good connections to the city. Plus there are some nice places to eat and drink in the area - obviously the hotel restaurant but we would also recommend the pizza place across the road.

Our only complaint was our room, on the top floor, was incredibly hot (we were staying in August but it wasn’t a particularly hot day). There was thankfully a fan in the room though which sorted us out.

The architect did a great job. We really liked the vibe of the hotel. The staff is polite, the location is good. It is not a closest hotel to the city center, but the metro station is 5 minutes walk from the hotel. There is also a market, bakery and pharmacy right next to the hotel. The breakfast can be additionally paid, and it is great. There is a common space to be used, which includes many interesting facilities - a photomat, table tennis, table football, etc. I would always recommend this hotel.

No air conditioning. In the summer it can be very hot. The room lacks a dresser and hanger for clothes and stuff, everything else is amazingly designed.

Interesting look, creative I liked the red light and the umbrella on the ceilling. Breakfast good

Not very practical lights hard to turn on and off. Didn,t have or could not find the do not disturb door signs. Got bothered many times by house keeping. Shower is a bit difficult to use because of the curtain blowing in and the showerhead cannot be fixed properly. No cleaning done in the first day, after that cleaning was great every day.

We were happy to find that dogs were allowed also in family rooms, which is rare. Our room was actually a suite, we were pleasantly surprised at how big it was, and at the cosy/funny decor. Our daughter was absolutely thrilled about the retro video game. The fridge with beer and other drinks was also a very nice touch.

No negative points, except that the parking lot is probably not big enough if the hotel is full. However at both our stays we found a place.

The design of the hotel is great fun. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The 'honesty' bar means you can go and help yourself to drinks and snacks at any time.

The shower has no temperature control and if someone else on the same floor has a shower at the same time the temperature changes. The room was very hot with no AC and the opening window blocked the access. Some of the trendy lights have no switch - the only way to turn them off is to remove the adapter block. Breakfast was poor with only coffee and bread up to standard.

This hotel is a ten minute walk from Bahrenfeld station and close to the city centre. Our room was large and clean. the shower was excellent and breakfast was well worth paying for. Staff were friendly and efficient. There were plenty of power points for our electronic devices.

More hanging space for clothes would be useful as would a second chair in a double occupancy room. This would not deter me from staying here again.
