The property was beautiful and full of charm on the outside, with a decent amount of on site parking. The reception/bar/restaurant area down stairs is stunningly decorated, and very open and welcoming. We stayed in room 31, up on the second floor, and it was wonderful. The room was large and spacious, with an extremely comfortable extra large double bed. The decor in the room was simple, elegant and cosy. The en-suite was spacious with a large walk in shower (no bath) and, again, was very aesthetically pleasing. The hotel is located in a residential area, and so was relatively quiet, making for a peaceful nights sleep (there is a church nearby that does chime every so often, but that added to the charm, for me). The staff were also very friendly.

There’s not much to do around the property - we were unfortunate that we couldn’t get booked into the restaurant for dinner, as they were fully booked (so if you do want to eat at the hotel, I’d recommend booking in advance). We asked the staff if there was anywhere near but they could recommend and was advised to head into the city centre (about a half hour taxi away). There were also no shops etc near by/in walking distance. This is not to take away from how lovely and charming the hotel is, only to explain that if you don’t have a car, then I wouldn’t recommend staying here, and if you do, maybe stock up on some water/drinks for the room.

The room was great, very spacious and nice looking. Very comfy bed and pillows, really appreciate that. Bathroom also spacious, with 2 sinks, great for a couple. Nice patio (though we did not use it due to weather). The hotel staff are very nice, friendly and make you feel welcome. Breakfast food quality was very good, also good breakfast service. Limited parking spaces in the yard, as the hotel has a very popular restaurant, however there is free parking on the adjacent streets and it was easy to find free spots.

I am nit picking, but the sound isolation from the room to the hallway could be better. In the morning, you can hear the foot traffic and noise from other guests and the staff walking by. Ventilation could also be better. That said, I'd still happily stay here again.

Perfect quit situated in Hamburg. The restaurant is very nicely decorated. Perfect breakfast. The rooms are also nicely decorated and very quit. All works perfectly.

The restaurant was booked very well and we had to wait until 20.30 hrs before we could get a table for our diner. Food quality was however very good. Staff at the reception did not react very pleasantly during our check in. Also the price of the breakfast is high compared to what you get.

A very nice farming house in a very quite part of Hamburg but very close to the highway. The rooms are luxurious equipped in a very nice style. The restaurant Hygge with its open fire place is casual with excellent food and wines. The staff is very friendly all over in the hotel. You feel somehow like at home. Next year again,

This year everything was perfect but hustle in firmer years as to the limitation of the parking area.

The staff are so warm, welcoming and helpful. They are really first class hosts. They also really know what they are doing; tremendous food, super wine and advice on choosing, expert barman, quick service and beautiful decor. Perfectly clean and obviously a very well run establishment.

A gem of a hotel, hidden in a residential neighbourhood in a wealthy part of Hamburg. Wonderful mix of comfortable coziness with contemporary style. Rooms are modern, beautifully styled, with everything you need (even a liquor to welcome you). Amazing restaurant (not cheap though), excellent food and unique atmosphere. You have to eat there while you are staying here. it is a treat and the locals love it!!! And the staff is amazing, super attentive and helpful. It was not my first stay here and it definitely won't be my last. ;-)

There are some newer rooms and some older ones, catering to different tastes (this room was pretty masculine, with a lot. of black elements and not very much light), other rooms feel more light and feminine , maybe ask before which room you will get as they are all different (but all charming in their own way, just for different tastes...) I would have loved to have a kettle to make a quick coffee or tea in the morning.

very quiet location in a resident al area a bit far from town , but if you look for a cosy boutique hotel with great food and a beautiful atmosphere this is your place. Food is excellent, rooms are cosy, modern and fully euqipped

this was not my first stay here and usually the staff is amazing. this time the restaurant staff were a bit arrogant and unfriendly (had to fight for a place inside altough all was free. the explanation was that the staff has a too far way to walk if I am inside,... I would not have expected this here, as the food prices and the restaurant standard is pretty high. still i will come back again, it probably was only a bad day of one of the staff...

One of the nicest hotels I've ever been to. Everything was top notch. The room was wonderfully designed and quite cool even though I could not spot a central AC (heatwave). Breakfast that did cost extra 25e was to die for, do not skip it. Just go there if you're staying in Hamburg and have ability to drive around for seeing other places. Elbe river shore was like a 2 km walk away, otherwise it is just a rural small home area.

Sound isolation in rooms could have been a bit better; it did quiet down in the night so no problem. The room was perhaps on purpose quite dark. And with breakfast the total price was on the high end, but still well worth it.

The property is absolutely beautiful. So much thought has gone into every single detail. The room I had was just stunning. I particularly loved the shower. There was plenty of room in it and it was nice and powerful. As it was so warm when I was there it was lovely to cool off under! There’s a lovely supermarket around 5 mins walk away with a salad bar and lots of fresh fruit and vegetables and good for picking up snacks for your room. I haven’t based my rating on this but it would be lovely to have a mini fridge in the rooms to keep things cool.

The only reason I didn’t rate this as perfect was because on both mornings I was disturbed by housekeeping at around 9am despite me leaving a do not disturb sign on the door. Thank goodness I left my key in the door or they would have had a lovely sight! I would have loved a lie in but was woken up so early on both mornings which is a shame.

Charming atmosphere & beautifully designed hotel with a spirit all its own, great staff and a lovely restaurant on the ground floor. Quite memorable )

The location is probably not ideal for travellers visiting the city centre and the main tourist attractions; we chose this neighbourhood for a reason.
