The boarding house is in a nice location in the city. The central main station is just 10 mins away by foot. The apartment was very nicely organised and clean when we got in, though they do not come for cleaning until you get out again and if you need anything like towels and sheets, you can ask the friendly reception. Additionally, they are pet friendly which was an amazing solution to our cat! (but you should have the cat toilet and food cups of your own, it is not given in by the complex)

10€ for parking is too much per night if you have a car, especially considering there is free parking directly on the street. We did not take breakfast from hotel since 18€ per person is also too much for that. There are nice bakeries and grocery shops to have breakfast instead, with 1/3 of the price.

Aparment was clean. Construcion was new and every comodities were just in place. All equipments were good quality ( sink, shower, bed..) floor was done by solid parquet 👍. Worth the money paid.👍👍👍.

We arrived at 21:00 and nobody was at the reception. We tried to contact the number on recep door but no response. Helpfully was a guy (guest) who gives us the nr of admin so we get the key from safe.. The key is on safe where you should receive a code number via booking to open it. Secen days hotel should inform on booking about late arriving procedure.😀

It is really a very spacious studio with separate bedroom. Huge Bathroom and living room. Two small balcony also belonged to the studio. It was clean. The kitchen had everything needed to heat up food. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. All together it was a good experience. The newly built part (Bahnstadt) is nearby, where you can find restaurants and shopping possibilities. There are several playgrounds and places to sit with friends. It is a lively part of the city although it is quite new and do not have the athmosphere of the old part.

Behind the hotel runs the traintrack, so with open windows it is quite noisy. Trains running almost whole night long in every ten minutes or so. It is an industrial neighbourhood, so it is not the nicest part of Heidelberg.

Heidelberg Bahnstadt is really becoming a trendy place to be. The hotel is located like 15min walk from the train station. You'll find shops and restaurants nearby. The studio room has a little kitchenette, where you can also cook yourself if you like. The staff was really friendly and check-in late is no problem at all. It is also a perfect place for morning walks or run between the buildings and fields. Check out the nearby cafe/coffee roastery "Simon & Bearns"!

Well, I can't blame the hotel for the construction site next to it, which will be around for a bit I am afraid. The good thing is, no need to set an alarm. Construction workers are starting 7am sharp every (week)day! :P

Great, spacious room. Great facilities. Kids had separate beds in what I would call the lounge area. Comfy beds. Both rooms had a TV. Kitchenette had a microwave, one induction hob, a fridge, cups, plates, cutlery, etc. tucked away in what looks like a wardrobe when closed. Dogs are welcome for 12€. Good sized wet room. No bath. Parking is 10€ per night, but you can park on the main road for free should you wish. The road was closed during our stay, so it wasn't too busy. Aldi is located within a 5 min walk & a couple of restaurants. Looks like they're building more of a shopping complex & plenty more apartments in the area. Recommend the burger place. The metro link is close by, but we didn't use it as we walked everywhere. Old town is roughly a 40 min walk, approx 3km (2 miles). Walking through the main town. Breakfast is available for 18€ adults & 8.50€ for kids. Nocneed to book.

There is no air-conditioning as the building is constructed as a 'passive house'. So it was very warm (we were here in August) & theres no temperature controls. Our room was located in Block 3 on the top floor, facing the Metro. The Metro is very busy. To try & keep the temperature down, we had both doors open, so it was very noisy. Trains stopped about 11pm on Saturday night & started again 6am on Sunday. I'm. Sure there were a couple during the night though.

The room is big. It's really big. And you can't really tell this from the pictures. It has coffee and tea as well as a refrigerator, hot plate, cooking utensils, etc. The bathroom had a walk in shower which I really like. Place is very modern. Wifi is fast and bus/tram/train is nearby. Place comes with a queen bed in the bedroom and two fold out singles. View from the right side of the building is great. There's two LCD tvs as well and all are top notch. Parking facilities are secure and that's what I wanted. They give you two complimentary bottles of carbonated water as well which we all really liked. When I go back to Heidelberg I'm going to stay here again. The value for the location is absolutely fantastic. Not really part of the experience of the hotel but there's a food truck that has rotisserie chicken outside that's really really good. It's a nice option if you want to eat in, since the room provides plates and silverware. Desk staff are professional and courteous. Restaurant on site was absolutely spotless.

Breakfast is in the neighborhood of €14/person. While good and it's all you can eat, not really sure if it's worth that much. Don't get me wrong, it has a lot of variety of cold cuts but you basically get eggs and bacon as your hot choices and that's it. This is just my opinion however, and this might just be my preference. I don't know the standard in the area. I will say that small kids eat free so that drops the piece down depending on how many kids you have. I know older kids are discounted as well so more little ones may have made it more appealing. This isn't really a complaint. I do wish that the TV's had YouTube or at least the option to set the language to something besides German but this is Germany and I can live with it. These are hardly complaints though.

Parking on site was simple and convenient. The staff, especially the gentleman at the front desk, were incredibly kind and helpful. The room was a great size, clean, and had everything we needed. The breakfast was phenomenal!

The front desk did great helping us navigate the location. At the time of our stay there was A LOT of construction and our GPS kept routing us down closed streets, which was annoying by obviously not the property’s fault. My only complaint is the beds weren’t that comfortable, but they also are far from the worst beds we have slept in.

Big rooms and warm on cold days. The beds are super confortable It has two TVs. We didnt pay much for this type of room in Germany

The room smells funny and it could be a little bit more clean. There is no reception, it has a reduce schedule. Its good for parking but its far away from the city. One night we wanted to go out and have a drink and it was insane to go back without the car

very good breakfast, good clean room with good facilities, and an extremely helpful lady on reception when we left, who e-mailed our son because our phone stopped working. Many thanks for that!!

We did not like the fact that reception is not manned for more hours in the day, and we arrived at 7pm by train and it was just a matter of luck that someone was there to get the key for us. The cost to the Company of having longer hours on reception would be minimal but would greatly increase consumer satisfaction.

We did not expect too much of this hotel because we booked really last minute and this was the cheapest property available. We chose this because the other hotels were simply unaffordable. We were then pleasantly surprised to find a large room with a balcony, including a kitchenette with kettle, cutlery, fridge and a small stovetop. We've stayed in many more expensive places where you don't even get a kettle. We arrived during check-in times so someone was at reception. Location was good, walking distance to the train station, close to the tram stop into the centre, an Aldi and some restaurants nearby.

The room was quite warm, no aircon. Could probably get too hot during the summer months. The location is near the train tracks so nothing fancy or picturesque. One always needs to take the tram or walk a long way to go to the popular areas.
