Nice front staff and staff at breakfast bar, they are all have great service mind and willing to help in advance. Room decoration is lovely and clean as shown in Booking.com, its' size and bed are comfy with enough facilities for 3 persons. Location is OK in quiet area, although the distance is a bit far from Cologne main station but the path is almost flat and easy for big baggage to roll.

To access into the hotel we need to carry all our big baggage for 5-6 stairs to get in. In the room we stay the door of our shower tube is not properly closed while showering, it makes the floor wet along the edge then we have to use towel help blocking.

I have never been to a hotel where there was no staff present in the evening and had to collect the keys. It is interesting what COVID has done. Coming to the hotel, the location is not far from the train station - 10 min walk (longer if you are hauling luggage); once we reached, we collected the keys from the 'safe' outside the hotel. There was really no staff to guide us - it was easy getting to the room. The room was spotless and lovely in just white. A bed room plus a small separate lounge area which we found just perfect. The window overlooked the courtyard and had a fire escape access which we used as a balcony. Breakfast was actually nice - breads, coffee, cheese, fruits, eggs etc. The owners was helpful and chatty - I guess, we are all recovering and adapting to the COVID pandemic. Location wise, its perfect to get around anywhere by walking - to the Dom and surrounding areas or to the Zoo. Close to the river side as well. Stay there again, yes!

Everything was good about the room expect the shower where the water pressure was low and was more like a sprinkler than a shower. They need to fix that!

the ground floor room was very nice and beds were quite comfortable. the breakfast was very good although there was not hot option except for boiled eggs, lots of different breads and a big choice of cheeses.

the bathroom although adequate was tiny and getting in and out of the shower was quite difficult and I would say nearly impossible if you are less able. breakfast although nice was let down when the hotel is full by just 1 member of staff doing everything, serving, clearing, making tea coffee etc to 6 or 7 tables

The staff are friendly welcoming and accept talking English including their manager who is really professional. They had a nice selection of breakfast. The location is near to the train station and easy to go to other sightseeing

The warmers was not working good in the first night it was frozen with 3 degree outside however we informed them and issue was fixed the 2nd night.

The place was easy to find and very close to the river bank, the cathedral and other city hotspots. The room was clean, well furnished and quiet and the whole place smelled of soap. The breakfast was tasty and the staff very polite. We slept very well and comfortably. Compared to other similar hotels, in terms of location and quality, we found this place reasonably priced. I would return.

The location was really perfect, walking distance to center, the breakfast was great and complete, the staff nice and everything clean.

The pillows were too soft and not that comfortable and there was a lift to go up half way (still one round of stairs after) but it was very small, for 2 people only, and a bit scary

Great staff. The lady at breakfast even remembered on day 2 how I liked my coffee :) Located on a quiet street so not much noise at night if you want to sleep with the window open.

No AC (like many hotels in Cologne), so it was very warm at night. Shower head was positioned a bit awkward in my room.

Easy to find. The owner presided over a wonderful breakfast buffet. Room was comfortable. A short walk to the Dom and Altstadt.

The hotel is excellent. The downside to its fantastic location is that parking is hard to find. We got lucky and found an on-street space and bought a ticket from a nearby machine.

Small hotel, very comfortable. Breakfast was great, very complete. The hotel is located very nearby the central train station. and several restaurants. I recommend the hotel.

I am not used to not seing people at the reception. This hotel is pretty much self service. ALthough they respond very fast to all the question I did through booking. Felt very well supported.

Location was excellent close to the Dom, the city center and the Christmas market. The room was very nice and spacious. Bathroom was also good. Breakfast excellent, the staff made good arrangements for my partner’s food intolerance (gluten and beef (dairy) products.

The shower drain didn’t run properly, so we had to turn off the shower frequently to avoid water spillage in the bathroom.
