Location is very good. Wifi worked without any problems. Kingsize bed was really comfortable. Room was spacious.

Check-in took 20 minutes in total. In the beginning they said they are not able to offer a "double bed", despite our reservation. When we said it is not acceptable, it took another 10 minutes for them to work on it and come with an offer of 2 days of breakfasts instead of doible bed. We rejected the offer and after another 5 minutes they confirmed that they can give us a room with double bed. But overall we had to wait for 20 minutes standing to check-in, meanwhile noone offered us to take a seat and/or have a drink. It was really annoying after a long train journey to Cologne.

large room ideal for a multi day stay. located very close to main station and city center no need for a taxi from the station excellent sauna area with two different types of sauna. A cooler ~55C bio sauna and a no nonsense finish sauna that goes all the way up to ~90C. Ideal for sauna lovers Staff was very accommodating Lobby/Cafe/Restaurant area leaves nothing to be desired Elevators are fast and not plentiful. Important for somebody who's paranoid about them. No queues Central but super quiet

There's some cobbled stone right behind the entrance making it harder to roll suitcases across No hotel partner airport transfers. But they can call a taxi. If you have luggage that's nasty to carry even for ~300m you find it hard to get a taxi to get you there. Make sure that you are good to get there from the station on foot or find a way to get there from a more distant location. Did not apply to us but we already had pretty heavy luggage.

We booked a room for 3 people and the hotel prepared a large enough room with an extra bed for us, upon arrival. The room had almost everything you need, with a lovely toilet and bathtub. The shampoo and conditioner were also so lovely! Breakfast was good, with a nice spread. We had dinner at the same restaurant in the evening and the food was delicious. Location was near the central station so it's easy to get around.

We booked for 3 people but there were only 2 sets of cups, but that was easily resolved. We just needed to get it from the restaurant the next day, At breakfast, one of the staff could not tell us the difference between the different pricing in their buffet breakfast. It was upon leaving that we realised that the difference is in whether you took anything from the egg station. The staff could have told us earlier because we would have avoided the egg station. There were enough variety of food at the normal counter.

This Marriott is clean, modern, and well equipped with a wonderful staff. Great location with easy walking distance from the central train station The staff all spoke excellent English and were above and beyond kind. It is a bit off the beaten path which provided for a quieter neighborhood but with easy access to all Cologne has to offer which is the best of both worlds for us. Would stay here again without hesitation. We stayed here to visit the Christmas Markets and it was a perfect spot for this type of trip.

good location, close to train station, cathedral and shops. property was very clean and staff amazing, specially in restaurant and bar. we had dinner couple times and stakes were done brilliantly , even filet stake as my partner likes well done is was tender and not burned at all.

on arrival we were told that we have to pay extra £50 for every night as deposit on the top of amount paid through Booking .it wasn’t mentioned about it when we booked. I still haven’t received my deposit and its nearly 24 hrs ( we were told we will get back in few hrs. Milk for tea and coffee was in some kind of sachets and hardly whitened drink when we put it in. town cafes are full of little pods of creamers , doesn’t look like there is shortage in Cologne but that’s perhaps hotels choice what we really did not like it. we asked for extra milk but we never got it??? quite strange as hotel seams good.

Fantastic hotel and staff. Cannot fault at all. It was my partners birthday on the day of our arrival and the staff arranged for a cake, bottle of fizz and a hand written card to be placed in our room when we got back from dinner that evevning. This was a really appreciated, personal and lovely touch - thankyou so much. The room was clean, well kept and spacious with everything you could need. A comfy bed and a lovely relaxing space. The hotel location was great, just a few mins from BHF train station. The bar and lobby were very clean and modern with lovely furnishings, a chilled and inviting ambience. 10/10.

Rooms are large and have style. Breakfast is very good, with lots of choice. Great bar area. Good location, less that 5 minutes walk from the train station and less than 10 minutes walk from the pedestrian zone. Nice staff.

The fitness was not high on the agenda, when they planned it. Lousy room which isn’t nice. I find the Spa ok, but not good enough for a hotel of this category. You can see that the hotel is more aimed towards business. The parking from the hotel is so small, that it’s better to park in the public parking house beneath the hotel.

Excellently located, very central to the old town, the Dom, and the Central station. Our room was at the back of the hotel, so was very quiet. Nice and clean, too.

The bath was very steep, and hard to climb into and out of for a shower. The mattresses were very hard. Breakfast is very expensive, so we didn’t avail of this. We were charged a €50 security deposit for every night we stayed, which was not mentioned prior to our stay.

the double twin room was so spacious and perfect for me and my cousin. Most flights from the US come in early in the morning so we journeyed from Frankfort International Airport to Cologne via train and the station dropped us off right in front of Cologne cathedral. The hotel was only a 6 min walk from the station and so we dropped off our luggage and went to explore the local scene. The breakfast is worth the money so consider purchasing room with breakfast included. They will lend umbrellas with a deposit and we took advantage of that for an especially wet day. I would definitely stay here again. Its within walking distance of so many sites and Christmas Villages.

The hotel is a two minute walk from the Bahnhof and a further two minutes from the very impressive Cathedral. It’s location is marvellous for shopping or even just a stroll down the Rhine. Rooms were spacious, clean and had all facilities one could hope for. The curtains were very thick which blocked out all light ensuring a good night’s sleep.

I have stayed in Marriott hotels which have spa facilities before, this one does not. Nevertheless, this does not detract from how wonderful the hotel and staff were.
