The hotel is located just at the entrance of the old town. It is an historic building which has been internally very well restructured. The lobby is illuminated by the original windows and has a modern design. The room is quite large, fully furnished also for longer stays. The breakfast is huge with all options. Staff very friendly and helpful

Compared to the rest the bathroom seems to be a little too small. But for us was not an issue at all

The location is really good, there's a parking close by. The staff is very friendly and the building is wonderful. The breakfast, even with some restrictions, went pretty well, we were really satisfied overall.

We had a small issue getting there at night. They have a system to pick up the key with a code that they send you, which is pretty smart. Unfortunately it didn't work so we needed to call a number (very visible and easy to find) and a person had to come and help us. It took a few minutes (like 10 or 15 min) and everything was solved quickly.

The old world charm, the location, the Breakfast bar. The Ferry being only 5 minutes away by foot and the Altstadt with many Restaurants and Public Transportation -Free with the complimentary Konstanz City Card- at your door steps.

Tight bathroom. No parking on site and the recommendation of the Altstadt Parkhaus. You pay max - €24.- for half day parking already while others were only a five minute walk away and charged you the full day after you actually park there a full day.

The hotel is really well located (in the old part of the town and not too far from the Bodensee). The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. Personally, the best part of my stay was breakfast: the breakfast buffet has a large selection of both sweet and savoury foods, warm and cold foods, as well as various baked goods. Great way to start the day!

Unfortunately, given that the building is quite old, the walls are very thin and noise from the corridor or the street carries really easily into the room.

The family room was quite tight with 4 adults, but fine for a quick one night stay. Beds were comfortable and the hotel was quiet and well located. The staff were friendly and made us hot chocolates at night in the lounge after walking the city in the cold weather. The buffet breakfast had a large variety of choice, very delicious.

It would have been good to have a kettle, tea/coffee facilities in the room. Shower curtain blows into the shower space when being used, which makes it a bit uncomfortable, but apart from that the small bathroom was quite modern.

Staff is excellent in surprising us with Birthday decorations on the bed as my wife birthday falls on same day of check-in😀. Within walking distance to Old Town, Christmas market & shopping lanes. Parking within 100m.

The room heater automatically shut off when the windows just above it were opened for some fresh air which was unknown to us. So avoid opening that windows & just open the other side with no heater below it.

The location is excellent: accessible by car on the edge of the pedestrian zone in the Old City. In such a location one must be ready for some street noise at night. The building is historic, with many fine details on the exterior and on the ground floor. At breakfast, the buffet offered a wide variety of good-quality foods. The bread selection was especially good. Tickets for public trabsport are included in the daily room price.

There is no air-conditioning and it was quite hot. The fan provided was effective and nearly soundless. Affordable parking is located across the river on an open, ungarded lot. Thi is accessible by bus.

Every member of staff is a real credit to this old and historical hotel. From the reception staff, the breakfast staff and the cleaning staff all were awesome and super friendly and helpful. Just the older lady with the blond hair ( maybe the manager ) chose not to speak with us. We had an issue with our room but it was dealt with quickly and professionally. Asked at reception for a kettle for the room and they were more than happy to provide one for us.Breakfast was exceptional with plenty of choice and nice fresh produce . A beautiful old,but comfortable,hotel in a lovely quiet spot , would highly recommend to fellow travellers.

Nothing to dislike

Fabulous. We are 3 long distance cyclists riding from the UK to Italy and our stay at the Graf Zeppelin in the heart of beautiful Konstanz could not have been better. Great staff all round. Very friendly professional welcome. Brilliant dedicated bike storage just off reception. Really good breakfast, possibly the best on our 10 day European 7 country bike ride. Rare roast beef for breakfast...delicious. Great room. Good price. Lots of restaurants nearby and I want to come back with my Wife one day, but by car! Highly recommended. We will return

It was all more than perfect.

Fantastic antique hotel in the centre of Konstanz, right next to a bus stop that connects with the ferry. The train station is also not far, overall extremely convenient. We had very enjoyable breakfasts there with plenty of tasty options. There's something for everyone. I recommend booking the breakfast in advance as it is a bit pricey when bought the same day.

The elevator works without needing a key card. Theoretically anyone could enter and get to the room doors unobstructed. Needs an upgrade.
