Nice staff, quick check-in, decent location for the price and with quick access to multiple touristic areas around (by car), but a bit of an "ugly" area as it is essentially a commercial/industrial zone.

Unfortunately someone in the reception mistakenly gave our room to someone else during one of the nights, which led to a stranger entering the room in the middle of the night while we were sleeping. It was obviously a huge scare for us and a very very awkward moment for the person that got into the room thinking it was empty and found two strangers were already staying in the room. In the end the situation was solved, but obviously not a great experience.

We were genuinely impressed with the facilities of the hotel. They have a pool table, cocktail bar, outdoor area with a small playground and they provide board games that you can play. Genuinely a lovely place to go with children. We also loved our room. It was clean and comfy. Our son LOVED his bunk bed. There is an Aldi a stone's throw away as well as a buffet Chinese restaurant. The hotel happily gave us an ice bucket and wine glasses to take to our room and we really have no complaints. We were expecting something basic but it was actually a really cool place to stay as a family.

The room was quiet and clean. The staff was friendly and polite. The bed was comfortable. I did not have breakfast at the hotel, so I can say anything about it. In the entrance hall there are a couple of vending machines. The hotel is very close to a supermarket, a fast food store, a Chinese food restaurant and a bakery (and also to a hardware/DIY store, just in case). The location is not central, but there are bike lanes to reach the center, it's served by public transport, it is next to a main road (but don't worry, the glasses of the windows absorb the noise), not far from a train station and there is plenty of space for parking. I did the check-in and the check-out in the "Ibis Styles" hotel next to it (and internally connected by a corridor), which is always open. Earliest check-in (15:00) and latest check-out (12:00) times are also, in my opinion, very good.

In my room there was not a wardrobe and this might be inconvenient in case of long staying (but the room is large enough to store your luggage without "being stuck"). There is a desk which is big enough to use a computer, write something or read a book, but not enough to be a convenient working place for the whole day. I mean, it's all fine for a "budget hotel", it's just to warn you that if you want to stay there for many days you might have to adapt a bit. And, of course, all what I have written applies just to my room; perhaps, if you ask, they might have something with different characteristics.

great value, clean room, easy check out and check in. great for a minimalistic stay / a bed to sleep when you're out all day anyways. directly in front of the hotel, there's a super market to buy all necessities.

reception is not in the ibis budget building but in the ibis styles building directly next door. still okay, yet at first this can be a bit confusing.

Realy friendly and helpfull stuff at the reception. The rooms are perfect for a short stay and good value. Simple but sufficient breakfast buffet.

The parking situation was really anoying. Be aware, that the underground car park has only very limited parking lots and also there are only a few lots in front of the hotel. Don't drive away, once you got a parking lot, because you won't finde another later.

The staff was so nice and helpful. The rooms were totally fine for what they were, and were clean. The location was good and parking was free and easy to find.

There was no soap in the shower; it's in a squeeze container on the wall and had run out. I would expect housecleaning to check that when they clean the room. The beds weren't very comfortable, either.

Room was OK and clean. Hotel is close to a bus station, ease to drive to downtown (with the free ticket received after check in). Walking the along the channel to downtown was also nice. There is one supermarket close by and a delicious Italian restaurant (Pizza Flitzer).

No wardrobe and no fridge available. Bed over the king bed is more annoying than practical.

The breakfast was simple but good enough to satiate us. The hotel was a bit outside the city center but within walking distance. The hotel offered free bus tickets and the bus connections were good. The staff was helpful and willing to speak english when my german wasn't good enough. The AC kept the room cool.

A mini fridge in the room would be a nice addition.

We loved absolutely everything about this property. The location is perfect. We traveled all around Bodensee across 3 countries and thanks to the strategic position of this hotel, we could enjoy our trip immensely.

great location. restaurants nearby. bi-lingual, friendly staff. grocery store across street. 15-min drive to Mainau. 5-min drive to Konstanz. AIR CONDITIONING was great in the rooms. VERY secure hotel. you need room key to use elevators and you can only access your room floor, no other floors.

breakfast was minimal. only breads, cold cuts, cheese, tomato, pickles, cold cereal, milk, coffee, and orange juice. no fruit, no water, no eggs, no sausage, no bacon etc. when garage gets full, parking is challenging. no toiletries in bathrooms only shower soap.
