I truly loved the hotel, the staff was super efficient, nice and the room had a particularly lovely atmosphere. My overall first impression was 'classy' for excellent value.

If you need a parking spot you may be truly disappointed. Just as I was. As the hotel does not have its own facility, you'd need to make use of a PARKHAUS connected to the hotel. Might seem a lovely idea, if you get a spot at 3A level, close to the entrance of the hotel. Otherwise, you may end up carrying your luggage through stinky staircases and even get charged 20 EUR/ night as the elevator door at level 3 (Hotel entrance) does not work!! With all honesty, I'd say it is such a disgraceful feeling after long hours of driving!! I could not believe such a disgusting parking and aweful service could even exist in 'Western Europe'. Will remember... forever.

Been here before, came back, will probably return. That means something :) Large parking lot makes it easy to come by car, and it is reasonably priced. Location is great. You can walk or get around by public transport easily. Room is well decorated and comfortable. Staff is great and helpful.

Leonardo hotels tend to have flavoured water jugs you can pour yourself a glass of. The Mannheim one usually has three different flavours. It is a pity they all taste vile. If only they had a jug of plain, unflavoured tap water! Rooms are definitely not soundproof. Or, at least, mine was not. I heard *everything* the neighbouring room's guests did. I didn't think of asking for a room change - so partly my fault.

Excellent hotel in a fabulous location- central to everything! Very comfortable beds and some nice touches around the hotel with fresh, fruit infused water, candles, coffee …etc laid out for guests in the foyer. Beds were very comfortable and the rooms were clean. Air conditioning was poor however which didn’t impact on us too much given that temperatures were not too high during our stay. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

I was upset about the air conditioning not working, the situation was unfix-able at that time and they did upgrade my room. The manger reached out to me personally and that was a very nice thing. You don't always see this level of costumer care these days. I was definitely impressed with their compassion for my discomfort and their customer service.

Nice hotel in good location. Rooms are comfortable with good desks to act as workstations. The gym facilities are the best (I've tried) in Mannheim hotels. Inside facing rooms are quieter, but on the side of the street wonderful views of sunrise and Wasserturm.

Internet is not consistent, cuts off, and it seems unsafe. Cleanliness of room floors could be improved with vacuuming. TV channels are not varied. Sometimes limited to only a few german channels.

Bed was super comfy; room was completely quiet, even with window open for fresh air. The staff were helpful and friendly in both English and German. Hotel bar has a good menu and a reasonable selection of drinks. The interiour -- halls, stairs, etc. -- is luxurious and quiet. Again, the staff are excellent. The breakfast is well worth the money; we were fed for the day with the superb selection. Didn't ear again until dinner.

A very minor mention that the bar menu does not include a selection of cocktails. We were hoping for Mai Tais or Mojitos or Pina Coladas -- you know, the basic selection -- but these are nowhere to be found. That's it. I'm reaching far to answer this question.

The personell seemed a bit off at times. Especially when i was checking out there was a very loud and energetic person at the front desk that felt the need to coment every little thing and detail and ask all sorts of questions. I think he was just tryi g to be sociable and entertaining but it was too much. Also his English was not great. Things like that can be uncomfortable and unnecessary.

The location is very good. It is direct beside the beautiful Denkmal Wasserturm ( water tower) und it is very close to the main train station of Mannheim that enables you to travel around the city with trains and also to neighbor cities. It is close to the entrance to the highway too if you drive with cars.

Unfortunately the toilet in my room is defected and it remains not repaired.

We were delighted, on arriving later in the evening, to get an upgrade from a standard room to a generously sized suite. The hotel was very busy but the breakfast buffet was well managed by staff. The location is excellent, right by Mannheim’s spectacular fountain square. Excellent value for what we paid.

Better lifts are clearly needed but this didn’t really impact on our stay.

Spacious and comfortable rooms next to the pittoresque Wasserturm and culture hubs as the National theater Mannheim, Kunsthalle Mannheim, Rosengarten and only 20 minutes walk away from Feuerwache Culture Centre, Mannheim Central Station. Mannheim's shopping malls are also very close. Don't miss the Luisenpark ! Very friendly staff
