It had a very warm, cozy atmosphere. The room was clean, and facilities were good too.

The location is quite far from the city center and is only served by a single subway line, which runs approximately every 20 minutes. The hotel also seems to have very limited staff. For example, the entrance requires either a passcode or a key card, but no one was available to open the door until a kind guest helped us. Our room was on the second floor, yet no staff offered to assist with our luggage. Given that they were expecting guests, there should have at least been someone at the front desk to help with check-in and luggage.

We stayed in one of the guesthouses (and not the main hotel). Rooms and bathrooms were on the small size but adequate. The beds & pillows were comfortable enough. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was very good and average price. However, we felt the breakfast buffet at 19 euro each was high, so we skipped that. The metro train into Munich was only about a 10 minute walk and was easy to find. Hotels in downtown Munich were much higher priced, which is why we chose to stay outside the city itself. There was a charge for underground parking at the hotel, but we found parking right in front of the guesthouse, which was free. The front desk staff were very helpful with information on the metro and getting around Munich. We bought a group pass directly from them (about 17 euro), and it was good for up to 4 persons for all forms of public transportation all day.

Price of breakfast (but seemed to be around average for many hotels). However, I don't know any person who could eat 19 euro worth of meat, cheese, rolls, and yogurt.

The hotel is conveniently located, easily accessible to the city center by S2 or bus. The surroundings are beautiful and tranquil, with a church nearby. The room was clean, especially the bathroom and balcony, which had excellent lighting. It was quiet at night, which was very helpful for a good night's sleep. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful. We arrived on a Sunday during the self-check-in period, but he saw us and proactively assisted with our check-in. He also checked on our stay experience when we were leaving. We were busy sightseeing and didn't have a chance to try the breakfast, but the dining area looked very pleasant. We will definitely choose to stay here again on our next trip to Munich. Highly recommended!

The upper part of the balcony door is loose and cannot be fully opened But everything is perfect

Location is convenient and the building sureounded by trees is nice. Cosy interior and nice beer garden / terrace. Spme free parking on the side streets or a spacious garage for extra cost available. Relatively expensive breakfast when booked separately but tasty options available.

Despite booking a better room category the upper level rooms are really small snd have too low ceiling.The bayh had mold in several spots so that you could smell it. And unfortunately the worst part: Personnel was dis-interested in creating a welcoming experience. Especially at the breakfast: there was some kind of a conflict between the staff members and we got to feel it via very bad attitude and service. Disagreement between personnel can happen, but do not show these to customers. Not really making us feel to come back again😞

What we liked the most about the hotel was the room because it had all the comfort for a pleasant stay

I was extremely shocked when I started to notice that the housekeeping service was not good at all, everyday I noticed something different, the second day of my stay (after the first cleaning) I noticed that they didn’t cleaned properly the bathroom, it had drops of pee on the bottom cover, that means that they didn’t even check them both, then on the fourth day (because they only clean every 2 days) they didn’t replace the coffee on the room and they left the dirty cups of out breakfast in there, why not replace them? And finally that same night I spilled some drops of coffee on the sheet of my bed, the next day they changed it… for a sheet full of orange drops! It was gross, I prefer to tell this so the hotel management can reinforces the housekeeping service

Oh the character in these rooms! The beautiful finishing touches and wall paper - it is nice to stay somewhere with personality! The provided amenities and toiletries were nice, I love it when body lotion is included. Being able to hear birds and church bells ringing from bed, and little else, was heavenly.

It was dog friendly, however the section of the hotel we were placed in does not have any dog friendly rooms. Apart from that, I was very happy.

The breakfast was 10 out of 10 and the restaurant was so good we ate there every single night. Even on New Year's Eve. Giuseppe, the waiter at the restaurant, was second to none - whatever you're paying him, double it. The chefs, unlike pretty much every chef I've ever met, were warm, personable and welcoming

Hardly a big deal, and not something you can change, but the bathrooms are tiny. Anytime I had to drop a deuce, I used the communal ones in the main building, just so I could breathe. But like I said, not the end of the world.

Breakfast was only so-so. For that price, I had much better offerings. However the service at breakfast was very good.

The room didn’t look anything like the images on Booking.com for that room type. There is no lift so keep that in mind if you have any issues with stairs or have a lot of heavy luggage. The room felt exceptionally tiny. There was no iron or ironing facilities available. The location was not so great, especially because of the unexpected holiday that meant the hotel restaurant was not serving food either night of our stay.

It was east to get into city center, close to the train station. Room was clean, had a window into a cute courtyard. Enjoyed the on-site hotel restaurant.

The roof pitch in one side of the room meant you couldn’t stand up on that side. Had to crawl into bed. Bathroom was updated but small, which is not unusual in Europe. Hotel restaurant was expensive, but the food was delicious.

A lovely hotel with a very stylish classic design. The rooms are really cozy. You'd want to spend all the time there and read or write. The area is also quiet and residential. A quaint church is just opposite. The staff is super friendly and helpful. There's a free parking outside, but you can also get a paid hotel parking for extra €12.

The only thing I'd improve is the breakfast. Even though you'll find all the basics, scrambled eggs were a bit oversalted and it would be nice to have a better selection of muesli: for instance, nuts and dry fruits.
