Breakfast was wonderful, I've never seen such a selection of berries in any hotel, ever. Staff were very helpful and friendly, made us tea and hot chocolate even when it wasn't meant to be available. Hotel location is pretty good, one S-bahn stop from Marienplatz (centre) or about 20 min walk.

Bed made a crunching noise when you sat on it and was very hot to sleep on - my back was sweating all night. It turned out that it had a waterproof mattress protector on it! Never in all my years of travelling I've ever seen that. I understand why, but seriously, you are running a hotel not a nursing home - it's so uncomfortable!

A fabulous small hotel in Old Town Munich. Rooms were spacious and comfortable and staff were friendly and obliging. The location is fabulous! You can pretty much walk to most things or there is public transport near by. The Christmas Markets in Marienplatz is a short walk and the Old Town is the nicest area in Munich to stay in. Breakfast was the best and there was a great variety of fresh foods each morning. The hotel was nicely decorated for Christmas and we would love to come back one day.

This is our second stay and we got upgraded to a suite without being asked so that was a treat! There was tons of space, 2 bathrooms(!) and beautiful light/windows. Really gorgeous, big room. The location is great--walkable to everything but very quiet and unassuming area. Amazing breakfast with really kind staff.

There was no air conditioning in the room. I'm not sure if that's true of all the rooms or just this one. I remember air conditioning last year we stayed but I could've been mistaken. It wasn't a huge deal while we were there but the weather was quite nice so we didn't need it.

Spacious room & bathroom. Bed was comfy! There was plenty of space for our two big bags and to get ready. Great bathroom & shower, also quite spacious - especially compared to many European hotels. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There's a great coffee shop next store, Caffè Da Me and it's only a short walk to the Marienplatz ~10 mins. It was the perfect location for exploring Christmas markets around Munich!

The shower head kept falling out of the holder. It wasn't a big issue, but meant you had to hold the shower head most of the time. We couldn't figure out how to turn the heat down in the room. It was just a little too warm at night. We asked the front desk the next morning and they explained how to change it. Not a problem, just worth asking ahead of time!

Excellent option in Munich, we were very happy with our staying at Admiral hotel. Location is perfect with less than 15 min walking from Old Town and a bonus: only 4 minutes from a station that take you straight from the airport through S line. Staff was very helpful, they’ve advised on the partnership with a nearby parking since I rent a car for 2 day trips from Munich. Breakfast full of options and our room was very comfortable for our family of 3 (they transformed sofa in a bed to our daughter and didn’t charge us. In summary, fully recommended.

Honestly, I can’t list anything as it suited us very well. Perhaps filling the bottle of water during / after cleaning the room would be great (you can do that by yourself downstairs) or providing mineral water bottles.

Our stay in Hotel Admiral was excellent! We loved the cleanliness, and the details. The hotel decor is beautiful and stylish. The personnel impeccable! Special thanks for the friendly attitude. The lady at the reception made our stay feel like we are friends. Special thanks for providing us with a city map, as we had issues with our mobile data during our walks. The rooms are with design furniture, the bed is like a cloud. To be in a bathroom with floor heating made us really feel at home. Breakfast was including a wide range of buffet temptations, including a traditional German apple pie, tasty filtered coffee, as well as espresso, muesli, veggies and fruits, freshly prepared. What can I say, please expect us back! ❤

The hotel is located within a walking distance to the virtual market and Marienplatz. We were also able to walk to the Oktoberfest. The room is beautiful and spacious, the bed amazingly comfortable, bathroom clean and with good water pressure in the shower. Our room was right in front of the street but no noise was heard, very calm and safe area. The front desk gentleman (Sorry I forgot his name) was always very nice and welcoming, for a couple of nights He provided me a pot of tea because I love drinking tea before going to bed. This made me feel very happy.

The breakfast is very good and has suitable options to make you satisfied but I missed hot food/home made options such as scrambled eggs (also, I'm not sure if this was an on demand option because I didn't asked).

The room was exactly as pictured. The bed was very comfy! The bathroom was clean and shower pressure was very good. The staff were very helpful and able to assist us with extra things (finding a post office and extra blankets when asked). Location was also excellent - 5mins to Isator train station and its easy to get around the city via train. Or its 10mins walk to Marian Platz and Viktualienmarkt.

The breakfast was average - If breakfast was better I would have rated this hotel 10/10. No toaster, eggs were only available boiled. Lots of fruit available but I think it was tinned not fresh. The variety was good but quality was just ok. Despite this I would still stay again and recommend to others.

The room was very spacious and bright. The location was great, since the hotel is within walking distance from the old town, but is located on a quiet street.

The floor in the room and in the corridors was dirty and could do with a proper deep clean. The pillows were a little uncomfortable. There was only one bathrobe in the room even though the room was for two people. And the reception closes at 11 pm, so if your flight is delayed and you arrive after that, you'll probably not be able to get it and have to find another place to stay at.

The Hotel Admiral met all my expectations. The included breakfast was complete and could satisfy anyone. We had a street facing room that overlooked a nice tree-lined business park. The room was ample and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were courteous and housekeeping first rate. Nice restaurants nearby and the bus stop was a block away. I would certainly book this hotel again when I travel to Munich.

I guess my only issue, and this is minor, is that some guests coalescing in the lobby for drinks at night were a bit noisy up to about 12:30am. That could be heard in our street-facing room.
