Hotel Elch Boutique was a fantastic find in Nuremberg! This hotel truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the exceptional cleanliness and attention to detail. The room was well-appointed with all the basic amenities we needed, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel's location couldn't be better, especially for those visiting during the Christmas season. Stepping out of the hotel and being greeted by the twinkling lights and festive atmosphere of the market was a real treat. Unfortunately, our arrival was slightly marred by an unpleasant experience with a taxi driver who scammed us by charging extra for our luggage. This, however, had nothing to do with the hotel itself. Despite this initial hiccup, Hotel Elch Boutique provided us with an incredible experience in Nuremberg. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable, convenient, and charming stay in this beautiful city.

Lovely, quirky, historic hotel just within the low-traffic centre of Nuremberg. We stayed in a recently-refurbished top floor room that was quite spacious and with a good bathroom. We were able to park in the hotel's small car park across the road. From the hotel, the whole of historic Nurnberg is walkable, and well worth a look, particularly the castle. We had breakfast at the nearby Cafe Neef, which is the usual smart, clean, well-presented German cafe/Konditorei.

Location was amazing, just down the street from the Christmas market, very easy to walk to and explore the town. We had asked for an early check in if possible, which they were willing and able to accommodate (our flight arrived in Munich very early in the morning, so we were in Nuremberg before noon). It was so nice to be able to check in and freshen up before exploring. They also had parking that we could use right across the street, so that was very easy and convenient. Breakfast was very nice in the morning.

Fantastic. We had the studio for 2 nights. It's across the street on the top floor. There is a lift. The apartment/studio was quiet, clean, 3 big windows opened wide with a lovely breeze. Location can not be beat, the best location ever. Can walk to everything. Breakfast was great. Parking just fine, staff was excellent! We would definitely stay there again.

The bathroom was just a little small, but clean and great hot water. You have to realize that everything inside the walls is older.

The hotel is very cozy and nice. I know it is the toy fair week, but the price is too crazy for such a hotel category. Even in NY and Hong Kong I get better prices for magnificent hotels in trade show periods. Nuremberg in general at the trade show week has become insane in prices.

I have had better breakfast in small hotels in Germany, not worth the 18 euros for sure.

When booking we asked for an apartment, but when we arrived we were offered to option of a hotel room, or apartment, we chose the later. The apartment was located across the road from the hotel, with an elevator access; the accommodation was spacious and an excellent location for the town centre. The staff were very helpful and there was also off road parking available. If you are looking for an apartment in Nurnberg, we would thoroughly recommend this accommodation. This was out first visit to Nurnberg and, although we have visited Germany many times, this is a location worth exploring.

Very friendly staff - and helpful. The studio was tastefully decorated and spacious. Clean and with kitchenette, very convenient and just across the street fro the main hotel. Breakfast was very tasty with a very good choice for different tastes and diets. Very good coffee!

There was an unpleasant smell (Could be the smell of lingering dustbins or just the need to open the windows in that private apartment more often ?) coming from the apartment opposite as you exit the lift but this wasn’t an issue once you entered the studio and closed the door behind you.

I liked the quietness of the room and the hotel and the location. The room was large and very pleasant. Breakfast was fine but not extraordinary.

That I had to pay for a coffee when I arrived early to drop my luggages. I had believed that it could have been offered....

Everything. Location couldn’t be better - in the middle of the old town. Parking was great and easy to manoeuvre around. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, even recommending and then booking a place for dinner. The welcome muffins on the bed were a lovely touch. The hotel itself is full of character and has been decorated beautifully. We can’t wait to come back.

Mattress was rather hard but that was a minor detail.

Loved the style of the hotel and the location. Super cool, castle looking. Awesome views from some rooms. Friendly locals. Greatfull to a locan man who helped us find the hotel.

Finding the actual hotel was very difficult at night. GPS sent us a few buildings down. Many buildings look alike. No 24hr staff on site. Need a larger sign of hotel name on the outside. Mattress is super hard.
