Great place to stay during any kind of trip! Big spacious rooms, check-in at any time (we came very late at night, but we’re welcomed with a warm smile), very friendly and caring staff, plentiful breakfast, comfortable accommodations. The location is just amazing! With beautiful views, right on the lake shore, with the beautiful routs for either morning/evening jogging or dog walk! And the territory of the hotel is beautiful, very well liked after We especially loved the attention to our pooch (we even got a soft blanket for his sleep and a very delicious meal as a treat!)

We traveled on the hottest days of the summer and lacked properly functioning fridge - for the room for 4 people it was tiny and too warm to store anything perishable…

The hotel is very large and resembles a cruise ship. It's not easy to find you way through it. It's impossible to get to the room straight from the underground using the same elevator - it is done in two stages - first to zero level , then walking across the lobby to another elevator to the store where you live. Not too pleasant if you're carrying luggage. Weak wifi in the room. A bit too faraway from the city center

I really liked the location - very relaxing, with a great view from a spacious room. The room had good ammount of furniture to sit on and relax - it was a also quite clean and quiet. The breakfast was also quite good. There was a big parking place for the guests but additionally charged. I could buy bus tickets at the reception.

The hotel is really occupied so it was impossible for me to extend the visit. The one more thing is that there is no shop in the vincity and there is only one restaurant but it is good. The hotel is really good.

I enjoyed staining in this hotel. The location is suitable for a relaxing holiday outside the city on the lakes. I believe that in summer there are also many water activities, in winter we enjoyed nature, a beautiful lake, and a view. Next to the hotel, there is also an Olympic base for athletes. The spa and pool area were great, and the view from the room was also brilliant. I would also recommend the hotel restaurant downstairs for dinner, the prices are fine and the food was tasty. I also want to separately mention the staff, it is not often in Germany to meet such friendly and helpful people in the entire hotel. Our dog also got a present for staying there.

Some kind of a big bug was found in our room on the first day. I was afraid that there would be a lot of them, but fortunately, there was only one during our entire stay, it probably flew in by accident while airing the room.

Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious room with generously sized bath and TV. Good sauna area (two saunas and a steam). Location had excellent access to pretty walks in the forest and around the lake.

The doors in this hotel are the loudest I've ever heard and it's impossible to close them from the outside without letting them slam (no handle, so they only close with force). The whole building shakes whenever a neighbour goes into or leaves their room. The constant banging and shaking can make it difficult to sleep. Personally, I don't like that the balconies are all connected as is feels like a privacy issue, we had people outside our window on the third floor, we felt very observed. But if you're travelling as a large group, maybe this is a nice feature. The on-site restaurant (Lemon) is pretty bad and overpriced so I highly recommend travelling to town for food.

The hotel room was comfortable, good furniture and with excellent climate control, very clean (spotless actually), very nice bathroom. The breakfast buffet was excellent, everything was always available. Near the hotel is an end-point of a tram to the centre of Potsdam that runs every 20 minutes or so. The area is quiet. We did not get round to use the wellness area, there was too much to do in Potsdam!

The hotel building itself looks business like. The outside bar closed rather early, but that is probably for trying to prevent any issues with noise. You have to pay quite a bit to park the car in the garage, given the location of the hotel.

We were traveling by train and needed to take the an S-bahn from the main Potsdam train station. Thank goodness for the signs at the wretched S-bahn station which pointed us in the right direction to the hotel. The actual hotel is situated right on one of the lakes in Potsdam. It was late when we arrived and we ate dinner at the hotel restaurant which was fortunately still open as there aren't any other choices in the area.

The check-in was a disaster as none of the people working at reception seemed to know what they were doing. All they were concerned about was trying to force everyone to buy breakfast which we were not interested in doing.

Very comfortable rooms, excellent bathroom, good air conditioning. Pool facilities are excellent. Good breakfast and restaurant. Although some reception staff struggled with English speakers, most are very helpful and accommodating.

Location is quite out of the way. Taxis are a struggle to book so accessibility could be a problem.

The location is on the lake. The view is nice. The place is good for relax.

There was no AC in the room. The hotel is very far from city center and badly connected with it by public transport. The prices in bar and restaurant are very expensive, while the closest supermarket is 15 min by foot.

We liked the wellness area and the breakfast the best about the hotel. The wellness area was new and clean, had a nice pool, 3 different saunas and very comfortable relax loungers. The breakfast was 16 Euro and had a good selection of bread, cold cuts, dairy products and fruits. The common allergy sources were marked on 95% of the food and the buffet overall was friendly to non-dairy consumers and vegetarians. Fresh gluten free bread is also available upon request. Vegan options were: bread, margarine, various delicious packaged vegan spreads, jams, plant milk, cucumber, tomato, fresh fruits. The kitchen staff has been very friendly and competent when answering questions about the ingredients. We had a free room upgrade which was extremely nice. The room was new, spacious and had a side lake view. The room we actually booked would have been a room with rather older amenities. The hotel offers bike rentals for a fee. It is located next to the see and you are immediately surrounded by green when walking in the area. The city center of Potsdam is reachable via bus and tram, both take ca. 20 minutes. The hotel is a business hotel and frequented by sport crews. By times, it can get crowded with larger groups in the common spaces.

There was some sort of party organised by the hotel outdoor and the music was really loud until at least midnight. We didn't bring earplugs as we thought it would be quiet in a hotel next to a lake. Our shower was heavily clogged from hour 0, it flooded the whole bath and part of the room. The water did damage to my shoes and luggage. The staff solved the problem upon flagging in the morning. I wonder why it was not avoidable. Some staff at the reception and breakfast reception had been cold when communicating. They solved our problems with a decent amount of friendliness, but don't expect smiles or proactive service.
