Everything was great from the check-in to the check-out

The hotel is excellent. Simple in design and amenities but thee room is a great layout, had everything we needed and was very very clean. The bed and seating was comfortable. Location and parking both very convenient, the parking at a good price too. The lobby space was a good space to relax. Helpful staff on hand 24/7.

We stayed in winter. The hotel was excessively hot, the heating cooling system does not cool in winter so we had the window open constantly (-3 to 0 degrees outside). Despite this sleep was interupted by being uncomfortably hot, most of all heating a large building to 26 degrees plus is a terrible waste of energy.

We were originally booked into an apartment around the corner from the hotel, and after the host didn't turn up to check us in, we were forced to relocate. Even before we had decided to stay at the hotel, we were gladly welcomed in from the cold by the wonderful staff at Moxy, given the freedom to charge our phones and sort out our next course of action after being initially let down. We couldn't of fallen more on our feet. The hotel is the perfect distance from Europa-Park (15 minute walk) and very close to local bus stops and shops. The staff are incredibly accommodating, breakfast was wonderful every morning and our room was spot on. Honestly cannot fault this hotel, we're obviously bias due to our situation, but that extra care goes a long way.

Very des elegant and rude member of staff, supposedly the manager… I was in the queue and waited for 20 minutes to check in and just one lady was working. This lady was there just in the laptop instead of receiving hotel guests. After 20’ she make herself available and asked me for full payment of the breakfast and city tax and I asked if that doesn’t suppose to be at the check out. She replied that if I don’t want to be in a queue in the checkout better I pay now. I replied that I was there already waiting for 20’ and she asked me if I don’t use to have breaks in my job????and that in the previous day worked many hours as well….totally inappropriate behavior with a customer, unacceptable and the hotel should review his recruitment policies, mainly if she’s the manager

The rooms were spotlessly clean throughout our stay! Housekeeping do a fantastic job. The reception and bar staff are also wonderful, had great communication skills with multiple languages. Very friendly and approachable. Staff also accomodated us with a disabled access room for my elderly parents which are also great with no lips or steps within the room. Requests are dealt with promptly and efficiently. Breakfast has a great variety and cater for food intolerances.

If I had to say anything, perhaps some training in cocktail making would be a bonus for customers. Foosball table in the foyer area could perhaps be moved into a different area as it can become quite loud at times but I'm struggling to find anything I really disliked!

It was a nice hotel with a good bar and breakfast was good and varied. The rooms were nicely decorated. The location was good with several restaurants right opposite, and more about 5 minutes drive away. There's a nature park that you can go walking in about 10 minutes walk away. It's about 15-20 minutes to walk to Europa Park.

There was absolutely no storage for clothes. If you look closely at the photos of the bedrooms then you can see that there is a trendy grid thing with a dress or something like that hanging on it. This looks lovely in the photo but you don't realise that it is the only place to put your clothes - an open grid with a couple of coat hangers! There are no drawers, shelves or anywhere else to put things.

We have just finished an exceptional experience from start to finish. Amenities: Moxy Rust offers a range of amenities that cater to every need. The 24/7 bar and lounge area is a fantastic place to relax with a drink, offering a lively atmosphere and great music. The breakfast buffet was impressive, featuring a variety of fresh and delicious options to start the day right. Additionally, the fitness center is well-maintained and has a good selection of equipment for a workout on the go. Service: The staff at Moxy Rust truly go above and beyond to ensure guests have a memorable stay. From the warm welcome at check-in to the helpful tips about local attractions, their hospitality was top-notch. They were always available to assist with any requests and did so with a smile, making me feel valued and well taken care of. Location: The hotel’s proximity to Europa-Park is a major advantage, especially for families and theme park enthusiasts. It’s just a short walk away, allowing for easy access without the hassle of long commutes. Additionally, the surrounding area is charming, with plenty of dining options and local attractions to explore.

I wish there had been a wardrobe in the room to store my clothes and some slippers, but this doesn’t cancel my review.

The breakfast had many options, sadly the warm items like eggs, rosti…were barely warm and by the time you sat to eat, were more cold than warm. Most of it seems to be Fertig Produkte that are just tossed in the oven. But you don’t have to leave for your day hungry, I feel anyone will find something that they like to eat. The hotel felt inviting and offered different fun things like games, foosball…the bar was nice. The staff seems to have to be all arounders, I saw them doing everything from check-in to the bar, to making the snack food (like pizza, burgers) which was also basically food that just needed to be warmed up and assembled. There was a microwave, plates and cutlery if you were to get your own food to warm up.

It was difficult to get the temperature just right, it was way too cold and we had to put the thermostat up to 24C and still the air had a chill. But I prefer that, to the AC not working and having to be hot. Parking was extra per night. We also found it difficult to get our key-card to work in the elevator. The green light above the thermostat was extremely bright and we tried to cover it in the middle of the night, but it was hard to find a way to get it to stay covered. The second night, we used a baseball cap..that worked well.

Perfect location for a trip to the parks, literally a 1 minute drive to Europa park and 5 minutes to Rulantica. DO NOT PAY FOR PARKING AT THE PARKS as the hotel will give you tickets for free park parking which is normally €10 a day! The hotel underground parking is €5 a day. The young blonde lady with glasses on the desk was very kind 🙂 breakfast is a bit steep at €15 but good selection of toast and jams, pancake bites, cold meats and bread, cereal, yoghurts and fruit and cakes. Room was very nice and burgers and pizza were decent.

Only criticism really is that parking isn’t free and no tea/coffee/ kettle in the room, and being picky the pasta for dinner wasn’t cooked.

Best customer care the workers were very supportive ,walkable distance to europa park it is like 20 mins walk to europa park better to walk than order a taxi taxis take long and are booked out better to reserve earlier,clean rooms,and the fact that breakfast was free for kids below a cirtain age.my 6 and 8 year had free breakfast for two days it's only me who paid

The fact that there is no phone in the hotel,it is very hard to contact the reception while in the hotel.l wonder what one can do incase of urgent calls.wanted to order food and drinks while in hotel and l couldn't contact them had my kids with me and l my night dress coulnt walk down.l think this has to change.Also may be give infos to clients like ordering a taxi at cirtain times is not possible.I had to leave like at 11:30am and l couldn't get a taxi to the bahnof and they had no other options l was lucky to find a bus as l almost missed my train.
